I remember this gossip from when it all began a few months ago. Someone got photos of Courteney Cox and her Cougar Town costar Brian Van Holt walking somewhere close to a motel or something. That’s pretty much the basis for Star Magazine’s “Oh, they’re totally f-cking” story. Brian and Courteney hang out together a lot even though Cougar Town has finished filming their season. Oh, and they had dinner together too. Alone. Okay… maybe they are f-cking.
Cougar Town costars Courteney Cox and Brian Van Holt have been spotted out together four times in less than four weeks since their sitcom wrapped in early April. And Courteney’s husband, David Arquette, was nowhere in sight!
Star has obtained an exlcusive photo of Courteney and Brian enjoying dinner at Malibu’s Coral Beach Cantina on May 7 without her husband of 10 years and their 5-year-old daughter, Coco.
“They were drinking beer and having chips and salsa in the back of the outdoor patio,” says an eyewitness at Coral Beach Cantina. “They looked like they were holding hands at the side of their table!”
Things got even more intimate when the two parted ways after dinner and Brian gave Courteney what appeared to be a kiss goodbye, says the eyewitness.

Would Courteney cheat on David Arquette? If you were married to him, would you? Although David seems like a total space cadet, he also seems like a sweetheart, and he and Courteney have weathered a lot together. But, of course, I never know what’s going on with her. She seems like a strange duck, and even though I might not understand her motives, I’ll admit it could be possible that she’s screwing around.

If this is true, that is just sad..and I could see then why she and Jennifer A haven’t been too close lately. Having her ex cheat on her with a costar and then to watch her bf cheating on her husband with a costar. Hope its not true…

That top pic is from some awards show back in January or so (I remember the dress) and David was with her there. Maybe she just doesn’t wear her ring? I don’t know.
Unless there’s proof of something more than 2 coworkers walking or having lunch together, I don’t buy it.

I hope it’s not true. But, they did admit there were problems in their marriage and went to counseling like A LOT. And, Courtney has a history, I believe. Rumors were that she got together with her ex–Michael Keaton–while he was still married. That’s the celeb world for you.

I too hope it is not true. Coco needs her Mom & Dad. His character on the the show is such a lovable jerk it makes you curious to know what his real personality is.
I just can’t get into the neighbor on that show, I watched him on that show that was supposed to be in the seventies about wife swapping, et al and didn’t think he was hot then either.

Eh, I’ve always thought they had an open marriage, at least on her part. I think a lot of Hollywood marriages are open. It’s only an issue when it becomes public. Normal values are not Hollywood values.

Oh I really hope not. I really thought it was admirable that her and David are so open about the fact that they work through their shit. All marriages are really hard, and I hope theirs lasts. If they ARE having an affair, I think they’re both pretty stupid to go out in public and allow it to be photographed so easily. That’s why I have some doubts. It’s probably something casual having to do with the show. Perhaps they’re collaborating on that or another project? Or perhaps that’s my wishful thinking…

I am 40… so no one throw any rocks.
I tend to think that Courteney is not happy about being in her mid 40′s. She has always came off as being very vain about her looks.
And granted she was a beautiful 20 year old.
But everyone gets older and there are new beautiful 20 year olds. And Courteney is not ready to be past her prime. Or do it gracefully. (In LA any female over 29 is past her prime.)
She is going to go down kicking and screaming. hahaha!

Yeah, I doubt there’s anything to the “missing ring” thing, it just struck me as kind of odd. Most women are going to wear a wedding ring. She’s got that other ring on…I don’t get that. I can’t see her as one to cheat, but if we’ve learned nothing from celebrities, it should be that you never know…

If CC is fooling around with somebody, she’s smart enough not to be photographed holding hands with him at dinner in a public restaurant.

Their body language and facial expressions look suspicious to me in those bottom two photos. They know they are being photographed and are smirking (although trying not to) while looking slightly uncomfortable.

I totally agree with this RobN. This is Star we’re talking about here, and it seems to me they are just grasping at straws to create a story out of nothing. CC is no fool – she certainly wouldn’t be flaunting an affair publicly, not that I believe there is any affair to flaunt.
As for the lack of a wedding ring in that pic – that’s from the night of the Golden Globes, where she was very much with David – tons of pics of them looking very in love. Maybe she decided against the wedding band in favor of bigger baubles for the dressy occasion – stars often do this. I’m not reading anything into the lack of ring in any event – do we even know if they are a couple that always wears theirs?
And as for the comments about her being body and age conscious and in or headed for a crisis – I’m not buying that either. At least not more so than any other over 40 actress in Hollywood. Did anyone making those comments see the first episode of her show – her character examines her body pointing out all her flaws in quite unflattering lighting. CC was obviously game enough to show herself in that way. Don’t get me wrong – I think she could stand to lay off the botox, but I hardly see her as having some sort of crisis over her aging self and her looks – particularly one that would cause her to cheat.

it’s so obvious all sites posting this shit and people who believe it aren’t even slightly familiar with Courteney & David. What they say in interviews and such. Courteney has told herself in a talkshow that she and david work together, and are together at home all the time as well, so sometimes they think it’s healthy to have a break from eachother and go out seperately with friends/family. Does this mean she is cheating? Come on, she knows there is a damn pap on every corner, how stupid are you to think she would take that risk of being caught? plus, talking about the paparazzi, they are there whenever she goes to a restaurant, themepark with her family or whatever, and now they don’t have one pic? Of Courteney and this guy going out? david arquette is a real hunk & catch – he has publicly said he hasnt slept with another woman during 11 years of his marriage/relationship with Cox.
