The boys of Glee are posing shirtless in magazines this month. We have hot teacher Mr. Scheuster (Matthew Morrison) in extremely low cut pants in Vogue and smart ass student Puck (Mark Salling) showing off his taut abs in GQ. In Vogue, Morrison poses with model Raquel Zimmermann in a pictorial called Two if By Sea featuring “swimsuits paired with daywear.” Kaiser and I had a whole back and forth yesterday about whether Morrison, 31, is down with the ladies or not. I vote for “yes” as I haven’t heard anything to the contrary. His ex fiance had a whole piece in Star last week confirming that he proposed in December 2006 and that they broke up in late 2007. A “source” told Star that they were fighting due to rumors that Morrison was cheating with Lea Michele at the time (which was pre-Glee) with the same “source” claiming that the fiance didn’t believe that was true.
Kaiser pointed me to this article in Elle where Matthew denied he was gay. He said “I grew up singing and dancing, so people have been calling me gay since fifth grade. I’ve heard everything you could possibly hear about it. But I do love gay people, so I’m not going to act like I was insulted or angry about it.” So there you have it. I think the guy is straight and into musical theater. Not that it affects my fantasies either way (staring at Mr. Schue helps pass the time during some of the more boring musical numbers on Glee) or that he owes it to us to let us know. We’re just curious!
Moving on to Mark Salling, 27, he’s certainly got great abs and is decent-enough looking, but he’s been linked to Paris Hilton. (The Enquirer ran that story in the print edition a couple of weeks ago, dated 5/17. We didn’t care enough to run it.) That definitely affects my opinion of him, not that I was particularly fond of him before I heard the news.

I’ve heard that Morrison is not only straight but quite the ladies’ man, and not totally in a good way. I’d much prefer getting sexy with Mr Shue over MM, but I wouldn’t say no if he offered!

my work is like 6 degrees of glee. one of my coworkers used to babysit chris colfer, and another one dated matthew morrison when they were younger. she said he’d always been a drama guy, but hes definitely not gay. also, she had nothing but nice things to say about him, so i doubt he’s a ladies man “in a bad way”
