Rosie still can’t shut up about Elisabeth Hasselbeck; says she’s gray “all over”

rosiebook.jpg
For some reason, people keep inviting Rosie O’Donnell onto their talk shows so she can plug her stupid projects and blab incessantly about her time on “The View.” Most recently, the irritating former funny lady appeared on The Martha Stewart Show, mostly to promote a new arts and crafts book for kids, but also to offer herself as the new poster child for mental illness in lieu of Britney Spears, and to get in a few more irrelevant digs at former co-star Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

“I tried my best but it’s hard for me when I’m not the boss,” O’Donnell, 46, said on The Martha Stewart Show Tuesday, reflecting on her experience on The View. “There was people there telling me what to do. There was a little Republican who scared me.”

[From People]

I’m sure Rosie was just terrified of Elisabeth. Whatever. Like anyone actually takes Elisabeth seriously anyway- she started her career as a Survivor contestant and the only reason she’s so conservative is that she has a rich professional athlete husband taking care of her stupid ass. But that’s beside the point, which is that this argument between these two morons happened ages ago, and nobody cares anymore. Rosie is the inspiration for the the term STFU. Honestly. For someone who is supposed to be funny, she sure spends a lot of time bitching. My mom used to tell me that if you’re constantly in arguments with people because they’re always jerks, you have to start to wonder if maybe you’re the jerk.

Note by Celebitchy: Yesterday I wasted minutes of my celebrity-obsessed life watching Rosie on Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer. Here’s the link to the video of that interview if you’re interested. She said essentially the same thing on that show, that she used to be the boss of her own talk show and she liked that better, and that Elizabeth Hasselbeck was young and that’s how she viewed her. She also volunteered that she had gray hair “all over,” and practically said that the curtains didn’t match the carpet or whatever. I’m really sorry for giving you that thought at all, but it really skeeved me out and I needed to pass it on. Like watching that little waterlogged girl in “The Ring.”

Here’s Rosie signing copies of her book “Crafty U: 100 Easy Projects the Whole Family Can Enjoy All Year Long” at Barnes & Noble in New York, thanks to PRPhotos. Oh - she also said on GMA that her kids don’t watch TV or play on the computer and that their school is also “media free.”

  3. The arrogant selfish turdball needs to get the hell over herself and realize the world doesn’t revolve around her. She stopped being funny when she started thinking she could force her views down everyone’s damn throat. I’m sick of her already. She needs to shut up!

  5. Doesn’t she have PR people to tell her that people are getting tired of listening to her whine and complain? She needs to drop the “talk show” personna, and go back on tour as a stand up comedian.

  7. When will this woman shut the F up? Hasn’t she realized that EVERYTHING she attaches her name to fails? Her hideous talk show was only popular bcuz there wasn’t anything else to really compete with her at the time- Look at how her take over of McCall’s magazine flopped, her comedy career, tanked, her stint on The View, she’s gone. All she does is attack, and viciously I might add, anyone and everyone who disagrees with her and her VIEWS. Insult the Republicans all you want, but you are the biggest loser of all ROSIE!

  8. Rosie and all the other moral cowards on “The View” bullied Elizabeth shamelessly for the inexusable crime of disagreeing with their politics.

  9. Tess, you’re right. Rosie is a text book example of a bully: loud and abusive until someone pushes back. Then she slinks away and whines about being mistreated. No integrity whatsoever.

  12. Rosie is a hot mess. I mean how long ago was this and she’s still whining about it???

As for Hasselbeck, the primary reason she bothers me is not because of her politics or even Elizabeth as a person. (I’m fairly republican myself.) I’m honestly offended they picked a blond bimbo under-educated bobbleheaded parrot to be the conservative Republican voice instead of someone on an equal intellectual playing field as the other view panelists. It shows that Barbara Walters has no interest in any other views except her own.

  13. Headache, amen to everything you said. I like Hasselback but she’s easy to pick on and isn’t at the playing field as the other panelists as you said.

Can someone just make Rosie shut up and disappear????? Like maybe sue her butt or press charges or something?!

  15. She is making a complete fool of herself bringing up this “old” fight and still whining about it.

She needs to STFU and do some PR repair.

Rosie isn’t the mental giant that she thinks she is….

  16. Man I loved Rosie in League of their own and she was awesome as Betty Ruble in the Flintstones, and with apologies to Pepster cause I got on her case about being negative in another post,,,but I damn sure HATE me some Rosie. Ever since she ambushed Tom Selleck on her talk show I couldnt stand this bitch. Not because i’m a Sellek fan,,,but because he always presents himself as a gentleman (you’d have to be to marry and stay with the woman he married…she was the poster child for mud fences) and Rosie had agreed to stay off his case about the NRA (Charlton rest in peace) but when they got on the air she blind sided him with a barrage of questions…that totally ruined it for me and her. And since then she has not failed to disapoint. What a know it all lil bitch. That is all.
