  1. Its good hes speaking out. I think more supporters of the gay community should speak out and say something. Its because of close minded twats like her that keep this country in recession.

  2. This is a silly question to ask but is that blonde long haired lady who plays in Dirt Sexy Money actually a man or a woman?

  3. Candis Cayne is a transsexual. Considering her life is lived as a woman, she is female.

  4. I am so freaking sick of people blasting Sally Kern. Her words were taken out of context. I’m so freaking sick of the homosexual community thinking they can shove their views down on us who think different. Last I checked this was America and we are free to think whatever the hell we think. :x

  5. Um, I’m not really sure how her words were taken out of context. And frankly your remarks aren’t really helping that argument.

  6. Exactly. And we are all free to think that Sally Kern is a bigot. I’m glad that TR brought her up.

  8. Look we may not like what a person says but free speech goes both ways, we cannot call “hate speech” whatever we disagree with and call “free speech” whatever we think is right.

It’s retarded how these gays talk trash about anyone and it is called free speech but someone even looks at them the wrong way for ANY reason and they are being discriminated…

The gays need to move on and get a life.

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO THINK OF ME AS A BIGOT OR HATER, BUT IT IS MY RIGHT TO THINK YOU ARE ALL A BUNCH OF RETARDS WITH A GLANDULAR PROBLEM.

    How’s that for fair? :P

  9. That Kern woman is so disgusting and repulsive.

And I don’t tink Alicia understands what “taken out of context” actually means. And to “The Observer”: why is Kern allowed to make those hateful comments but “The Gays” aren’t allowed to “Talk trash”?

  10. Elisha, They are allowed that’s the beauty of it all, the problem is that the gays take offense to anything that doesn’t promote their lifestyle, even a neutral stance will cause them to call people bigots.

In other words, they want, need and crave people’s approval, THEY have it and now they want to go after the ones that still disagree with them with stupid lawsuits and threats.

They compare their so called “suffering” with the civil rights movement of the 60’s…there is no point of comparison.

Again, I am yet to find a homo that respects my opinion when I respect theirs.

  11. Sally Kern’s stance can hardly be deemed “neutral.” And I’m not gay

  12. They They They…People are individuals, Observer. Generalizing the They Gays is ignorance on your part. I have gay friends and I have gay people I can’t stand…I have straight friends and straight people I can’t stand because of their CHARACTER as a person.

  13. I just want to note that seeing ignorance and intolerance displayed by homophobes only strengthens my commitment as a straight woman to fight for gay rights. I don’t know if that was their goal, but it’s certainly their outcome. :D

  14. I can’t believe that I am the only Republican on this damn thing. I think that it is morally wrong to be gay. I think that if you want to be gay then fine, just do it in your house and not in the eyes of the public or MY DAUGHTER. I do not think that they should even be able to adopt a child because it is not fair to the child to have to go through all of the confusion of his/her “family”. A Family should be a Mother and Father, not 2 moms or 2 dads. This is AMERICA damn it and I have the right to protect the values that our fore fathers had layed out for us.

  15. Jenny F: What in the name of all that’s sane has being a Republican got to do with your stance on homosexuality?

And if ‘the gays’, as you suggest, ‘do’ their homosexuality in their own houses, will you be confining your heterosexuality to your own house too? Can’t have one rule for the gays and another for the bigots..oops, beg pardon, the normal, decent people.

Incidentally, your implication that homosexuality is something you ‘do’ - ie. only concerns actions, primarily sex - speaks volumes about your understanding of what being gay is.

  16. There are many homosexual Republicans, so clearly political party affliation has zilch to do with sexual orientation.

Its gonna be impossible to keep your daughter away from “the gays” so I suggest that you teach her tolerance and love for her fellow man.

THOSE are the values laid out for us by the founding fathers. Not intolerance & hatred

  17. Jenny F: I can empathize with your position, I really can; we all want to protect our kids from harmful influences. And I promise I’m not being sarcastic here. But I am going to use your own words to tell you how I feel:

I think that it is morally wrong to be opposed to freedom for gay people to be married. I think that if you want to be bigoted then fine, just do it in your house and not in the eyes of the public or MY FAMILY. I do not think that they should even be able to adopt a child because it is not fair to the child to have to go through all of the moral brainwashing and family rejection in the event that he or she is gay. A Family should be two people who love each other, not just two people who happened to be able to make a baby by accident.

This is AMERICA damn it and I have the right to protect the values that our forefathers had laid out for us.

That’s really and truly what I believe. But I will never clamor for you to be shut up in your house, to be denied housing or employment, or look the other way when you are beaten for your beliefs. I WILL tell my family that I think you are wrong and why. That’s what free speech is all about.

  19. You don’t have to agree on the moral correctness of being gay or whether it’s a choice, a lifestyle or hard wiring to believe that it’s not a good enough reason to deny someone equal employment, pay, or even common courtesy.

But it also does not make me a bigot to not want to legally sanction in the form of marriage something that I don’t agree with.

However, I don’t think it’s fair that you can commit yourself to someone and share your life with them only to be gainsaid in the event of serious illness by some far off relative who hasn’t spoken to this person in ten years because of their sexual orientation in matters of hospital care, funeral arrangements or probate.

I also don’t believe that a child should have to grow up being bounced from foster home to foster home despite there being a dedicated, financially secure, loving couple they could live with just because the couple is gay.

I’m not sure if being gay is morally wrong but I know for certain that affairs, single parenting, divorce, underage parenting, different religions, etc are but I’m not about to discriminate against them, treat them any differently, publicly make generalizing statements about them, proselytize them or in anyway treat them in such a way that would let any of these people know I don’t approve of their “lifestyle.” So I’m certainly not about to change that just because someone is gay. I’m also not about to ban them from my life or refuse to associate or even be friends with them.

God knows I haven’t always lived my life in the most morally upright way and even if I did, God made me judge of no one and for all I know I could be completely an utterly wrong in my beliefs.

As such, what business is it of mine to tell someone how to live their life?

  20. I agree with a lot of what you say, headache. The moral issue for me would be that a hetero couple can marry on a whim, have little in the way of commitment to each other, screw around, have unplanned and unwanted kids and yet, because of a marriage cert, automatically benefit from all the things - insurance and pension benefits, property and inheritance rights - that many long-term, committed gay couples have to fight for at every turn.

  21. Thank you so much Mary Ann, headache and anyone I missed. You state so clearly how people do not realise that everyone is just another person. No matter what their lifestyle choices or genetics are they are no better or worse than you or me.
Who cares about hating on other humans for their sexual orientation when there are so many other more important things to be fighting for or against (not to undermine the gay rights movement). People need to learn to love people again because it seems that much of America has forgotten how to love others despite their differences.

  22. You’re not the only Republican on here.

Claiming that gays are a worse threat to America than Islamic fascism was *way* over the line. The fact that that’s not evident to some people amazes me, that a group of people who wants each and every one of us Americans dead unless we submit to their religion is less of a danger to us than homosexuality, and I consider it an insult to every innocent soul who died in the 9/11 attacks and every brave soldier who has died in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I listened to the Sally Kern tape, and if I could strip the (R) from after her name, I would gladly do so. A party that is supposed to be based on minimal domestic government and a strong national defense has no place for someone who has as skewed a world view as Sally Kern.

  23. For fgh:

I use “THEY” because they set themselves appart from the rest of us, the create this thing called the “gay community” in which of course you have to be one to join.

They is a term that sets a bold line between us heterosexuals and them homosexuals, we are both human I agree but at least you don’t see a “heterosexual community”.

Gays are prima donnas that want all the attention, simple as that. HEY LOOKA ME!!! LOOKA’ME!!! APPLAUD ME!!! DEFINE ME!!!

    pffft!

And just for the record I have friends who are gay and do not act like retards.

  24. I would like to recant any statements I made in full support of Kern. I really don’t pay that much attention when gays go whining about something because they seem to do it way too much. Gays are NOT worse than terrorists. While there are celebrities who are homosexuals and their actions may make you think they are worse, their not. I have two gay cousins who I am very damn PROUD to call my cousins.

I am impressed she stood her ground but am not on the same page as her. So to all the gays that come read this…I’M SORRY…I’m just fed up of being told to believe this or that and people trying to shove beliefs down my throat. BTW I know that last sentence goes both ways and that there are people who aren’t gay are like that too.
