If I had the money, I would wear so much Burberry people would be begging me to stop. I love what Chritopher Bailey has done to the house of Burberry, and he’s my pick for one of the best designers working today. Anyway, since Sarah Jessica Parker was already in London for the big Alexander McQueen memorial – they scheduled it for London Fashion Week, after all – she also went to the Burberry show. These are photos of her arrival. I am absolutely sick with jealousy about this coat. I want it so badly I want to beat SJP with a Louboutin. I would wear the hell out of it. I would take this jacket behind the middle school and get it pregnant. SJP doesn’t need it! GIVE IT TO ME.
Alexa Cung was also at the Burberry show. Can someone explain to me why Alexa Chung is considered anything special? She’s like Olivia Munn to me, only where Olivia is only popular with dumb boys, Alexa seems to only appeal to women – fashionistas especially, who think she’s God’s gift. I think she’s cross-eyed, emaciated and looks like a vagabond. And not a fashion-forward vagabond either.
Also in London, making Fashion Week appearances? Lily Allen, of course. Because she’s retired! Remember? No? Because she keeps on giving interviews and keeps showing up to events? Right. Anyway, Lily finally figured out that those horrible bangs looked horrendous on her, so she did something to limit the bangs trauma:
Hurray! No more bangs trauma. Now just give me all of your Burberry coats and I’ll be on my way.

I like the coat, too, but it looks like it is fitting her weirdly. Too small? (Whick would make it waaaaaaay too small for me!) It’s pulling in the front and the sleeves look really tight!

That jacket is great! I love her entire outfit. Alexa Chung’s allure is a mystery to me too. I like Lily Allen more – some talent, a much better face, and she sometimes looks good, unlike Alexa.

I will admit that I’m not big into fashion. I’m a “well-fitted jeans and v-neck t-shirt” kind of girl.
BUT I would live in Burberry.

looks like they’re stretching to even fit over her forearms…and she’s TINY. so, I guess you have to be anorexic to fit in one?

I agree with Manda – the jacket is too small. I know SJP is very thin, but even thin size 2 people can wear clothes that are too tight for them. I think this would look a lot better if it were a less tight – also, aren’t clothes uncomfortable when they’re THAT tight? I know beauty comes before comfort, but in this case the too-small size also looks bad. (The design isn’t bad, just the fit).

Alexa Chung is officially one of the most annoying women on the planet… she’s supposedly an ‘It Girl’ who just shows up at events and the paps take photos of her wearing different outfits designed for 8 year-olds because Alexa hasn’t eaten a bean in the last three years. She is such a nobody, and so sickeningly skinny, she doesn’t even look good. SJP’s coat however is gorge!

Well, I think the Burberry leather jacket is designed to have super-fitted sleeves. But yeah, SJP looks tiny and so does the jacket. God knows how I would get my tits in that thing, but I would try!
