Shock of shocks, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s marriage/cheating drama did not get any tabloid covers this week. For why?!? It’s a decent tabloid story, and you would think more people would be all over it. From what I can see, only Life & Style carried a major story about Ashton and Demi, and it only made their cover’s sidebar (“Why Demi’s Okay With Ashton’s Cheating”). As for the crux of the story (via Jezebel’s summary), it sticks to what seem to be the basics: Demi is going to stick with Ashton, Ashton is going to stick with Demi, but neither one is thrilled about it. Life & Style does offer a f-cked rationale/explanation for why Ashton might have cheated with the little famewhore club girl Brittany Jones, though – apparently, Ashton has “empty nest syndrome”. Because he got used to having all of Demi’s daughters around, and now he doesn’t have anyone young to play with! Ew. Also: Ashton’s career sucks these days, so he’s looking to get his ego (amongst other things) stroked with other women:
“Why Demi Is Still Standing By Ashton” doesn’t really reveal anything about their relationship, except to point out the obvious: She Tweets about him constantly while remaining very private.
A “source” says Demi is desperate to hold on to Ashton, and won’t pressure him to address the cheating reports, because if she does, “she risks driving him away.”
Meanwhile, Ashton allegedly has “empty nest syndrome” because when he met Demi, she had all these fun kids — he’d make sandwiches and babysit and entertain — and now they’re all grown up and don’t need that anymore.
Add this to the fact that Ashton “hasn’t had a hit movie in a long time” and a source claims: “Frankly, I think he’s having some issues with where he is with his life. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did stray.”

Don’t hate me, but I can kind of see this. I mean, I’m not excusing Ashton’s alleged behavior/affair, but I can see how this could be going through his head. Demi’s daughters are growing up and moving away and they don’t have time to hang out with their super-cool step-dad anymore (nor do they still think he’s super-cool), and that hurts him. Plus, Ashton’s career isn’t that great, and neither is Demi’s. All they’ve got is Twitter and each other (and lots of money). All that time, money, boredom, and denial on their hands… yeah, I can see it.
Also, I’m no body-language expert, but I still love these photos because of the exquisite discomfort both of them are giving off.

Kind of sad, but to be so young in a marriage that had kids, now doesn’t. Plus there is a real possibility that he won’t ever have any biological children w/ Demi. Her age and all. Kind of a catch 22.

That makes little to no sense. Ashton has what in common with teenage girls that he would miss their company enough to cheat on his wife? Ashton has plenty of friends his age to hang out with and do guy stuff. Ashton and Demi are very content with each other IMO. We hardly see Ashton at clubs or away from Demi, how someone could get that he cheated on her with some over weight average lookin chick is beyond me. I know men can be total dogs and even like to slum it despite the fact that have a hot chick at home but I just don’t get that vibe from him. Ashton and Demi are to together. They are always with each other.

They never made sense to me anyway. Her and Bruce looked way better together. She came off as being intelligent,sexy and strong while she was with Bruce. Ohmygosh. I love that top photo of them! It’s very telling. They’re holding hands, but she’s looking at a monitor to see how she looks on camera and he’s looking off in the distance remembering what it was like to be with women who are young and fun.

Is Ashton against doing another TV series? He is wasting years on this dream of being a movie star.
Where as he probably could have a huge successful acting career if he choose TV. (I am not talking about those lame reality shows he produces)
There are just too many perks of having a successful series to ignore the offers.
Plus I really like to see Demi find a good TV series.
All you have to look at is how badly all the allege movie “stars” are having failure after failure.
Julia Roberts is still out there schlepping around the world trying to sell tickets. So is Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. And both of those movies open up months ago in the US.

The reason that they didn’t get any covers is that nobody cares about them. Also these pictures were at a charity conference. Not exactly the time and place for a makeout session.

YUCK. I remember when they were first married that Demi said her kids considered Ashton more a brother than a stepdad- I thought that was so gross.
