In March, we reported a rumor that Cameron Diaz and Diddy were seen out at a restaurant together, taking care to enter and leave separately but sitting very close to each other and looking like they were on a date. At the time, we had just heard of Ashton Kutcher’s bomb of a show, Pop Fiction, and I gave Kutcher a lot more credit than he deserved by assuming that was one of his planted stories.

Diddy and Diaz were probably on a bona fide date because they were seen out again at a party thrown by Prince on Friday. Cameron fed the hip hop mogul some of her dessert and they were busted kissing in the basement. Diddy denies that anything happened, and says they’re just friends:

Diaz had a big hug for Mr. Combs at the Beverly Hills party he threw last month to celebrate his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. More telling was their intimacy at Prince’s house last Friday.

Sly Stallone, John Legend, Eddie Murphy, Babyface and other guests were riveted by the 2 1/2-hour backyard concert the funkster gave to launch his book, “21 Days.” But Diaz and Diddy seemed only to have eyes for each other.

During the show, they laughed and held hands. At one point, while Diddy sipped a Grey Goose, Cameron told him he “must” try her bread pudding, which she proceeded to spoon-feed him. After some whispering, Diddy nodded toward Prince’s mansion.

Once inside, he led Diaz by the hand through its labyrinthine corridors to Prince’s basement. That’s where we came upon the entranced twosome standing in the theater’s doorway. Diddy was bringing his lips toward hers when he realized someone was approaching. Smiling, they closed the theater’s door and locked it. We heard them giggling inside.

Diddy said he and Diaz did not go into a private room at the Sub-Mercer, adding, “It is ridiculous that two celebrities of the opposite sex can’t just hang out with a group of friends without it being reported as more than that. We are just friends.”

Diaz has an interview in the June issue of In Style in which she enthuses about sex. She said: “Are you kidding? I love men. Sex is the best! …You have to really enjoy [being sexy]. Not fake anything. Sexy is being in the moment, whether that means being coy or coming on hard. Faking is always lame and it never comes across the way you want it to.” [via Huffington Post]

Last year, Diddy claimed to have had sex for 30 hours with his then-partner and the mother of his one and a half year-old twin daughters, Kim Porter. Diddy said they were staying in Paris when they had the tantric lovemaking session.

Now all I can think about is these two having sex. Cameron’s goofy personality coupled with Diddy’s ridiculous bravado can make for some idiotic scenes.
