Rats are totally sweet, loving, and smart. That’s why people like rats. That woman is creepy, I never kept a dead rat wrapped up after it passed on, I buried it and moved on.

As for having them running around, like I said, they are smart. Rats can be litter-trained. They aren’t like hamsters and gerbils who just go wherever, rats can hold it until they’re back in their cage or until they find their litterbox. My rats never crapped or peed on me when I held them because they understood they were not supposed to do that.

  2. a says:

those shoes are a few sizes too big. how odd.

  3. a says:

rats are awesome. they have little personalities, they hang out with you in you pocket, they can go on road trips. they don’t bark and they are sweet.

  4. Kaiser says:

I guess I should apologize to the rat lovers out there. My bad. They just don’t appeal to me, I guess.

  5. Sarah says:

I had a pet rat when I was younger. He was an awesome pet. He’d play with my dog and they’d have a great time. We kept him in a dog crate because he got so big. Very smart animal.

  6. Molly says:

Rats are awesome small pets. They are people-friendly, intelligent and adorable. I’ve had them since I was a kid. It took a while to convince my husband to let me get two last year but even he admits he loves them now.

  7. Eileen says:

Not a big rat person, but Chloe looks like a 70 yr old lady. blah.

  8. texasmom says:

    RABBITS are my largish-pet-rodent-of-choice.

In the meantime, the Fug Girls describe Chloe’s look here as “the Prim Reaper.”

  9. Ms_Fu says:

Wow, I didn’t know so many people like rats.

  10. Ron says:

The shoes are a bit big, and the hair is off for me–the outfit is very sharp. I love that she tries different things and doesn’t look like everyone else.

  11. Delta Juliet says:

I’m sorry but she is one of the ugliest celebrities out there. And pretty ugly for a regular person, too.

  12. Liana says:

Chloe is the most glamourous of all the Amish.

  13. devilgirl says:

Chloe should try some shoes that fit properly.

  14. Mistral says:

    I think that’s a pretty cute coat.

  15. Stephanie says:

    Liana: LMAO, thanks!

  16. gigi* says:

    ok,she’s good..but the shoes…2 sizes bigger????????????

  17. lrm says:

she is seriously fugly…blek. even for a regular person, as someoen said. she is not very attractive. and i’m also wondering about those shoes-why are they so big? did she borrow them from a friend or her sister? or did the designer give her the demo pair and she thought ‘wtf’, i’ll wear them anyway?

  18. paranel says:

What’s up with those shoes ? Couldn’t find the right size ?

  19. badrockandroll says:

Rats are so smart that they would never wear Chloe’s outfit (actually, even a hamster would take a bye on those shoes). Rats are kinda pissed that the Jolie Pitts favoured gerbils, but they know that the family will soon enough be seduced by the charm of the rat.
Honestly, I have pretty much forced all my young mom friends to choose rats as their tots’ first pets, and once they get over the tail, which is rather reptilian, they are all won over by their intelligence, their sunny dispositions, and their ability to bond and play with children over the age of 6. They are the dog of the rodent world – loyal, loving and lovable.

  20. a says:

    #17 — you are awesome!

plus, i enjoyed the moment of rat solidarity in this thread! folks can be harsh.

  21. thegorilla says:

i love rats, i’ve had three that were all sweet, but i had one that was sweetest thing ever, she loved my dogs (who were so gentle with her too) and she’d sit up on my shoulder and make cute little noises in my ear, i know some people will probably get the heeby jeebies from that, but i thought it was pretty cute, oooh and i love rat hands, they freak out my boyfriend so i can’t have any (until i talk him into it) but oooh i miss them

  22. PrimeO says:

    High fashion? or just high?

That there are people who think she’s some kind of fashion icon has always left me perplexed.

    Re: this look…

    1. I’m pretty low maintenance with my hair, too, sometimes, but I don’t go to movie premieres, awards events, or charity functions attended by celebs and their photographers. Can’t she do *something* with her mop other than that?

    2. The shoes. Why is she wearing shoes that are way too big? Is she trying to start some bizarre trend? Is two sizes too big the new black??

  23. bw says:

My daughter convinced me to get a couple of rats a few years ago. I learned to love them! So sweet and intelligent and clean. I could see their cage from the kitchen, and I would call to them and they knew their names, and would pop up to see me. They loved all kinds of treats that I brought them, especially their favorite, Fettucine Alfredo. Brings a tear to my eye. I miss them. Sadly, they only live about 3 years. Chloe? Who cares. Can’t even fake nice, from what little of her I’ve seen.

  24. B says:

    Pilgrim Chic for the holidays?

  25. Frenchie says:

“holding his hands in prayer”… so is rat’s god looking like a rat or a human ??
By the way the whole rat thing cracked me up, but I would rather not have her as a neighboor (because of her keeping the dead rat)

  26. Stronzilla says:

For WW, Megan Gale is a Elisabetta Canalis wannbe and has had quite a bit of success in Italian TV and commercials. Michelle Ryan was one of the infamous Slater sisters on Eastenders (Zoe) and had her chance and blew if with The Bionic Woman. I foresee St. Jolie getting her hooks into it.

  27. sasha says:

Rats also giggle when you tickle them, look for “rats laughing” for videos of this. It’s so sweet.

What is not sweet is Chloe Sevigny, who will always be the one who blew Vincent Gallo on camera. I just can’t get past that …

  28. terryo says:

Chloe was incredible in The Brown Bunny. A girl not orally challenged is a wonderful woman!

  29. Crash2GO2 says:

My sister had 3 rats. She lived by the beach and would take them with her in a basket. They would sit on her feet in between industriously digging holes and playing in the sand. Than she’d gather them back into the basket (which was open on top so they could hang out and watch the scenery go by) and go back home. So sweet!

  30. padiddle says:

I love Chloe because she tries things that are different and unique and seems to be very comfortable with herself. But when you take big risks, you are more likely to have big “fails” at times. This is a fail. For the huge shoes and messy hair. But I still love her, and I don’t think she is anywhere near fugly. The way they style her on Big Love she looks bad, but in real life I think her face has a unique quality that makes her pretty, in her own way.

  31. danielle says:

I’m very conflicted about them remaking wonder woman. I loved Linda Carter SO much. My biggest concern after reading that article is hoping they don’t make cast some anorexic – I’d love to see a strong woman in that part!

  32. michael says:

blah, this would be much better if it were outerwear.

  33. Bebe says:

    She looks amazing, as always.
