Beyonce is pregnant, say Us Weekly’s sources

wenn2914849

Take the news with a grain of salt, but Us Weekly’s sources are claiming that Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their first child together. If I had a nickel for every random “Bey is preggers” rumor, I’d have… like, 30 cents. There are at least two big rumors every year, and I remember earlier this year, the urban blogs were claiming that it was a sure thing and it wasn’t. Beyonce also gave yet another interview back in August where she seemed to be saying that she wasn’t going to get pregnant until she felt the time was right, and the time was NOT right.

Beyonce Knowles better brush up on her lullabies. The 29-year-old singer is pregnant with her first child, the new Us Weekly reports. Despite the happy news, no one was more surprised than the singer herself.

“B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” says a source of the singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.”

Still, another insider says that the singer, who is in her first trimester, realizes that “this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.”

Friends of the couple are already expressing their well-wishes for the parents-to-be.

“Jay has been all about family since I met him, and he’s always going to be,” record executive Kevin Liles, who has known the rapper for years, tells Us. “I wish them the best.”

Knowles’ sister Solange — and mom to Julez, 6 — agrees.

“She’s got the most beautiful heart,” she tells Us of her big sis. “She’ll be a great mom.”

For more baby details — including the celeb pals already lining up to baby-sit; how Knowles plans to juggle a baby and a career; and why Jay-Z persuaded his wife to try for a family sooner — pick up the new Us Weekly today.

That one line makes me wonder if this is true: “She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet. She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.” That sounds right, doesn’t it? Bey isn’t ready to be a mom because she wants to spend several more years focusing solely on her career. But if she is pregnant, yeah, I can see her keeping the baby and changing her tune. We’ll see.

Wow. For such an informal occasion, her choice of foot wear is sad. I gave up buying heels 11 months ago and never looked back. I was having knee problems (I’m 24 and work in the fashion industry)… SO I just stopped buying and wearing the ridiculous heals. I feel so liberated. I can walk quickly, I can dodge through traffic, I can even run!

^^^ Beyonce’s 6 inch stilettos were designed by a man. A man who would never have to wear that crap. I can’t help but feel those shoes are the modern equivalent of chinese foot binding.

If she actually is this time good luck to her. she’s always struck me as the type that was too vain and self absorbed to even want children let alone sacrifice her body for the 9/10 months it takes for a normal healthy pregnancy once let alone multiple times. and god forbid she were to miscarry if she is indeed pregnant she and Jay Z would never get the privacy they need to grieve for that kind of a loss.

OH and has anyone else ever tried to walk in heels over a cobblestone surface? It should be a freaking olympic sport.

The infamous MTO aka MediaTakeOut.com claimed Beyonce was pregnant a couple of months ago. We all know that MTO is not reliable source for any news. They’ve also claimed that Khloe Kardashian and Janet Jackson were having babies. How wonder what happended to their babies..LOL

    @ Lisa Turtle:

i hear you on the heels thing. i went back to the 80′s style of wearing sneakers with my suit to work and my feet feel fantastic (say that 3x). i just breeze by those girls with the ‘cute’ stilettos on the street.

but, bey…let’s face it, is by no means a commuter. she’s goes from door to car. her soles are probable barely worn. lol :-)

@Lisa Turtle I love heels, I freaking love them. They make your legs look twice as hot and they can make a normal outfit look fabulous, but yeah… sometimes they’re not worth the pain. I cant wait to get home and take my stilettos off, and it’s not even noon! (I’m in South America). It’s gonna be a LOONG day.

And I really hope Bey is pregnant this time, but I wouldnt be surprised if it is another ‘make up’ baby.

She is pregnant!! I am a bit physchic I think because this morning I heard “Put a ring on it” and thought, I haven’t heard much about Beyonce, and my next thought was that she was preggers, and then I read this story, so there you have it. Certainly it has to be true now.

I love her heels! but I agree it is an Olympic Sport. I have a few pairs (I only wear high ones since I wear tennis shoes normally during the week) and my boyfriend is constantly laughing at the way I pick my way around the street….a pot hole or grass is like the end of the world!

I *love* heels. The higher, the better. It took a couple months to master them, but I can run and dance in mine, no problem.

  16. TG says:

I absolutely love high heels as well, but not for commuting. I am a fast walker and can not tolerate the slow pace of heels so I switch them on when at work or going out. Every once in awhile I will get the idea to be fashionable on my way out for lunch and with in 2 seconds of hitting the cobblestone instantly regret it.

Interesting when she was on Today show two weeks modeling for Tina’s line I thought she said she was in the studio and touring next year. Maybe I heard wrong. I think this is sad that this source is stating this so early what if she has miscarriage and also she is very private concerning her personal life.

i find it ridiculous that a young, successful woman is called “vain” for wanting to focus on her career for a couple of years instead of having a kid. she’s worked hard for it, why can’t she do it as long as she wants? once again it’s the bullshit archetype smackdown: loving, unselfish, martyr mommy vs. vain, selfish, immature non-mommy. can we please jump into 2010 and leave 1910 behind?

if she is pregnant, good for her. if not, good for her. her choice.

I’d be surprised. I don’t think she’s ready to go beyond “me! me! me!” Besides, it might muss her figure up.

Sometimes ago I’ve read, I don’t remember where thata she wanted a period of relax, away from acting and music; but if she’s working on a new album and a new tour I don’t know how these rumours are true; but if they’re congratulations!

“I don’t think she’s ready to go beyond “me! me! me!”

yes, because every woman who has had a kid is automatically a selfless angel. please. beyonce may indeed be a selfish bitch but it has nothing to do with her reproductive status.

And how many times have we heard this rumor? I don’t know why the tabs bother with it anymore, honestly. If she is, we shall find out in time. *shrugs indifferently*

@ Lisa Turtle: Thank you for sharing! I have felt that way about heels for years. Definitely designed by men, without any thought of comfort or health.

stars don’t get anything resembling a private life like they used to because of the perliferation of tabloids. Beyounce has probably had a miscariage previously which naturally makes the expectant parents skittish to announce anything pretaining to a new pregnancy. from always being worried she could miscarry again

Tina said “it’s not True” on Ellen. If it was true she would have asked Ellen to not bring up the topic or said I rather not comment like the family did regarding the wedding IMO. Ellen is not a Gotcha type host

o i agree with you guys saying look at her high heels, the tall high heels are too way
too high, i am pretty short.
but i do not feel all high heels on short or medium tall or tall women are sexy.i feel ALL high heels are not just SEXY cause they are high.
sad so many women EVEN beyonce,
wear the heels all th time.
she look pretty in flat shoe or cute sexy sneaks anytime i feel great with flat slide on cute comfy shoe, not high heel all day
    or on stage.
as i perform theatre music too but
no way i will RISK my health ankle toe even hurt at times even when WOMEN WILL NOT SAY THIS.high heels 3 inch at times are ok or five inch depending on your height and i agree the MAN has to be the designer of such a high stiletto heel, not a woman.
they are not all they crack up to be.
and if she is finally prego pushin her 30s about time good luck.i lov a IN LUV
couple who faithful he almost 40 this dec i read, and old enough as she is so IN LOV wit him and not for HIS BEAUTY
clearly, but IN LOVE FOR INSIDE BEAUTY
as i hear he treat her as the queen sweet girl.woman she is and vice versa
    congratz beyonce on your pregnancy.
    if true.she old enough.

I stopped wearing heels when I was still in my teens because I’m uncoordinated and can’t balance very well! :) Heels ARE the modern-day equivalent to feet-binding and wreck your feet, your back and your posture.
