Angelina Jolie’s second husband, actor Billy Bob Thornton, 52, joked during a promotional appearance at a Barnes and Noble to promote the second CD by his band, The Boxmasters, that the pregnant A-list actress will come back to him any day now. He was likely asked about her, and came up with this delusional response:
Thornton said, “She’s just going through a high school phase. You know dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there. She’ll be waking up from that dream in no time. Who knows if I’ll be there when she’s ready to come to her senses though.” Thornton added that they all come back, but he’s not a fan of repeats.

Of course Billy Bob was joking. He was said to have walked out on Angelina shortly after she adopted then-baby Maddox from Cambodia. There were rumors that he tried to reconcile with her afterwards but that she wasn’t having it and wouldn’t take his calls.
Angelina was Billy Bob’s fifth and most recent wife. She had nothing but good things to say about him in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. She said “I still love him dearly and think the world of him and I’m proud to have been his wife for a time. I don’t believe in regrets. It’s a dangerous habit to get into — it makes you pause in your life if you start thinking back and questioning yourself.” There’s little chance of a reconciliation, and the guy probably feels regret having to see her at the checkout counter nearly every week since they split up in 2003. Thornton has a nearly three year old daughter, Bella, with his girlfriend Connie Angland and three older children from his first and fourth wives.

I STRONGLY disagree that Angie is always trying to paint herself in the best light. Actually I find the exact opposite is true and it makes me wonder why people interpret her as being a phoney. All I have ever known is Angie being 100% honest. There are many parts of her life that she could have lied about or just not mentioned and yet she DID. To see the result of that honesty just check any gossip blog. It is information she has given them herself that they are now throwing back at her. In the industry she is in we see all kinds of plastic people with plastic, manufactured lives. Not hers though. It’s refreshing.

Susan — You think “I still love him dearly” is a canned response? I find it refreshingly magnanamous. It’s something that many, many bitter, immature, pity-party having ex-wifes can’t seem to work up the courage to say or feel.

BB is rather hot in a dirty-old-man kinda way. I found him appealing in Bandits.
But of all of Angie’s men, my fave is Jonny Lee Miller. That guy still does it for me, wonky hairline or not. I get turned on with his sexy voice.

William Robert (his formal name) is an awesome actor. He was great in Sling blade (like I have to tell you). I’m not surprised that he isn’t half bad with his band. I also think that Angelina was more in love with him than Bradley. Never saw her make out wildly with the Bradster on the red carpet,,,never saw her wear a vial of Brad’s blood on her neck ( I know she said it was a bloody finger print or something but I like the vial of blood better). Never heard Brad say they were doing the wild thing in the limo on the way to the awards show because they can’t keep their hands off each other…She probably feels like she hooked up with a brother when she got with Brad. (which in and of itself ain’t too bad from what of I’ve seen of her brotherly kisses). But with Sportin Thorton I think there was a lot more craziness fun and passion. I know that this is all speculation, but that’s the way I see it.

That was the sexiest, most exciting-to-watch/read about celebrity marriage ever, I’m trying to think of other cool celeb marriages to compare that one to and right now I can’t really think of any… I personally believe Billy Bob Thornton is one of those rare few artists who were born with that special “genius” gene, Johnny Depp and Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroe and Juliette Binoche are others like this, rare ones, they have that extra something that one can only be mysteriously born with. I LOOOOOooove Billy Bob Thornton!! I’d take him as a boyfriend a million times over Brad Pitt, even when Brad was in his Fight club prime, for real. Bad boy artistic geniuses really turn me on. Big time.

Yes Angelina does everything with us in mind. She kissed her brother with us in mind, adopted a child for the same reason, ruined a marriage etc. She loooooves and craves attention and her feak show with Brad gives her that.

It sounds like something a little girl with a Cinderella fantasy would come up with. Like when someone is a bit pretty there are all these jealous wicked stepsisters who have no other reason to find fault with you than for mere sexual jealousy. Hmm…maybe certain people do hate for all sorts of reasons, but your response tells everyone what you prioritize and what could possibly get your blood boiling. I’m just saying, what you think is other people’s neroses just may be your own.

Some of you people are so ridiculous. The man is making fun of himself. He and Jolie were only together for barely 17 mos before he took off and then she filed for divorce in 2002. The divorce was final in 2003. The fact is, she said in Allure in 2005 that she realized she hadn’t ever been in love and had married her friends. Cut to 2007 when she said in Marie Claire that Brad is more man then any man she’s ever met. Sure she cares for BBT she was married to him but he’s no great love of her life. What he was, was a big disappointment to her. He’s also making fun of the press and they’re ridiculous questions they ask him about Brad and Angelina.

Though I think that BB is a great actor, he looks way older than 52–he has not aged well at all. My dad is 52 and looks way better.
Brad is in his 40’s and is super hot! So all you Brad haters really need to get a life.

Honestly, I think Billy Bob and Angie were in total LOVE. It was crazy the way they looked and were all over each other. It was intense. Who knows what happened. One thing for sure is they did sign a contract between themselves till the end of time. I do not think she loves Brad the same way. I do, however, think she chose him to be the father of her children and that is about it. Just having his kids was a way to keep him with her. I hope that if she ever does decide to come crawling back to Billy Bob that he has the sense to slam the door in her face, no matter how hard it hurts him. I think she lost the best thing she had when her and Billy Bob broke up. Good luck to Brad trying to keep her happy and faithful. I think Brad looks old, tired and miserable.
