elisha : I believe she’s wearing two rings. Her wedding band is butterfly-less (if that’s a butterfly though)…
As for this story, it all ended well after only two minutes which makes it a funny post to read.
As a nanny, I’ve been locked out of houses a few times and it has taken me sometimes a lot more than just two minutes to get back in.

I can’t help but think that if I were in her shoes, I wouldn’t like to have every moment under such scrutiny. It must have been a stressful two minutes of panic at first and then something she and Ben will laugh about for years and somehow, if I were her, seeing such private, innocent moments of motherhood splashed over the tabloids would irk me a bit. I don’t get why these people don’t get the hell out of Hollywood, they have money enough.

ugh… I did this last Sunday at the grocery store in 90 degree heat. 5 minutes, 1 fire truck, a cop and a tow truck driver later & they were out. Thankfully they’re fine, I felt like a jackass though!

I once locked the my kid in the car, strapped in his car set WITH the car running.
Luckly it was winter and I *DID* have the heat running so he wasn’t cold, but it sure was HOT when we got the door opened. The locksmith who raced to help me said I wasn’t the first and I sure wasn’t gonna be the last
But I still felt like crap though

At least she didn’t lock her infant in a running car outside of a preschool, like one of the parents at my preschool did….
That was scary.
However a firetruck, locksmith, and 2 police cars later, all was well.

My stupid ass ex husband managed to lock us all out of the car while waiting to take my 2 day old daughter home from the hospital. At least she wasn’t in there. I have locked my kids in the car too. As far as the keyless entry, it clearly says that the kid had the key in her hand, as well as in the photos…

AC: I didn’t mean stop acting and working, I meant physically relocating somewhere where the press won’t tail them quite as much. Ben and Jen seem like a fairly down to earth, healthy couple with a gorgeous daughter and I can’t imagine they love having paparazzi following them around as much as they do. I wouldn’t.

Explain to me why the 2 year old was holding the key in the first place? I’ve always approached parenting from the viewpoint of what dangerous thing are they likely to do next and how can I prevent it? I bet Jennifer will not be letting her hold the keys again when they are out…which is not to say that I don’t feel for her.

I locked myself out of my car and i have keyless entry so just because you have it doesn’t mean you can’t lock yourself out. Don’t worry Jennifer every parent isn’t perfect thats why we are human…

Violet is one adorable child. Her mom is pretty cute too. This happens more than we think. Only difference here, papz taking pics does not help the situation. Jen is still an amazing mom in my book. Love her.

Ahhh. That’s why they invented the magnetic stash key. I’ve got a great hiding place under the vehicle and I’ve used it many times!

Rosy J: Uhhhhh, where else would CeeJay put her hide-a-key except under the vehicle? Not too many hiding places on top of the car. Seriously, that didn’t give anything away since there are lots of places to hide…a…key.
As for Jennifer, this whole article made me giggle. I’m expecting baby #5 and I can certainly say my other 4 kiddos have pulled quite a few tricks over on me. To think what this new one will try…..it frightens me!!! HA!

Oh thank God I’m not the first! My daughter likes to play with the key fob and knows not to press the BEEP BEEP button. I was so proud
But since she pressed the Lock button and then threw the keys across the car (and yes it was at daycare) we are finding new things to play with.
