She was probably out with her gays – but not Samantha Ronson. Sam isn’t one of Christina’s “gays”. Sam is likely Xtina’s girlfriend at this point. I could have gone my whole life without knowing that little piece of gossip. Here’s my theory: this isn’t a phase for Christina. I know that’s the popular theory, that Christina is just having fun with a lady named Sam just after the split, and that Christina will be back to men at some point. I don’t think so – I think Christina really is into women. And I think she broke up her marriage to be with Sam. We’ll see.

I agree Jules but sadly Xtina’s career is in decline. WHere is her fan base? This new cd bombed and to my knowledge the lead single/vid are no longer even being played even on pop stations. While her pr team blew smoke about the cancellation of her follow up concert tour, I believe it was cancelled because she simply can’t sell tickets anymore – compare her to U2’s ongoing 360 tour which will end next July (I have tickets) and has been ongoing for several years. Xtina needs to completely reevaulate and redirect her career it’s going nowhere right now.

It’s nothing she has the tallent to overcome this and she has a new movie/soundtrack out in less than a month (Burlesque) which has been getting good reviews.
As for the tour it was postponed because she had to promote an album, movie and soundtrack at once how was she meant to tour at the same time and be a mother and deal with personal issues? Her manager Irving Azoff (also chairman of live nation) has since stated that the tour will kick off in the UK in 2011.
Looking at Christina plastered in all that goop literally makes me nauseous. Is she blind?!?
Thanks for the response Futurestardeluxe. Question, don’t you promote your cd by going on tour; what album is it that you’re referring to then? Did she and her manager not know all these things you refer to were coming up and may intefere or complicate a fall follow up tour. Though I don’t care for pop music, she is at least an actual singer, why is she opening in the UK and not the states – because if she gets bad reviews there will be less of an impact than if she had opened and faltered in say Madison Square Garden? I just have the bad feeling she’s heading to JLO territory, and JLO was canned by Sony EMI because no one wants to hear JLO attempt to sing anymore. Though Xtina is way more talented than Jlo I just don’t see the tweens or the twentying somethings turning out to see her; and yes there is more to music popularity than tweens, but I wonder how many fans she has given all the current competition? She needs to try something completely different – how about a rock cd?
The thing is Christina has talent, she is the real deal. If her album or movie doesn’t hit with the public, it is because we are fickle. But her VOICE! She truly has the gift of her generation. I saw Samantha Ronson DJ at Mr Black earlier this year. I am flaming old homo but I have to say I was surprised that her face is actually very pretty in person. She dresses like a disheveled hipster mess so that’s not in her favor and she is petite and too skinny. @Jover, yes you do tour to promote an album you’re right but usually about a year after the album has been released because touring takes up a lot of time.
Her team probably jumped the gun and got too much going at once and coupled with the personal issues she didn’t have the energy.
You shouldn’t believe the bad press (started by Perez) about the tour either because tickets were on sale like 3 days before the postponement and the tour was at No3 on the summer tour chart and all the VIP tickets on sale were sold out…
Like i said her manager has since stated that the tour will begin in 2011 which is when somebody with sense would have started anyway and maybe you’re right about starting in the UK but who cares? fans are fans no matter were, she’s still playing Arenas and once people in the US see her doing well around the world with the tour they will be more interested.
As for JLO she’s had like 3 or 4 flop albums in a row Christina has had one, did Mariah, Madonna or Britney’s careers die after one failed album? “Burlesque” will probably up her profile.
