  1. Awww. Sad this got out. I like her.. hope she is better soon.

  2. It’s terrible when you get into this kind of funk. I know what this is like and wish her all the best.

  3. I am choosing to blame it all on Denise Richards. That and global warming.

  4. I have depression myself and sometimes, when I get overwhelmed with the negativity of it I wish I could afford the luxury of admitting myself into a mental health institution, or rehab if that is the posh way to say it. Depression could way so heavily oin you that you need a breather away from all the stress, somewhere where you know you will be well looked after. So I don’t think that Heather, whom I love, is necessarily THAT bad, myabe she just needs some time out and I support her in that decision. Hang in there, dear.

  5. blaming a third person in your current situation is high school stuff.

  6. Alcohol is a depressant and should not be mixed with medication. I wonder who is caring for her child and how this is affecting her.

  7. The age is starting to leak through the surgical enhancements, no wonder she’s depressed.

  8. Heather has always been such a classy person, you can’t help but admire someone like that. Not to mention that everyone who has ever met her(to include the little people) has nothing but good things to say about her. Seems to be genuinely good person. Not a DIVA. Wish her much success getting through this tough time and always.

  9. I like her well enough but it just seems that every celebrity is now carting themselves off to rehab. Is it perhaps a cry for publicity? Or is it just more difficult to keep quiet about their problems? Help I’m so confused.

  10. I have suffer from depression too & it is a difficult situation to live with. I’m glad it is wide;y dealt with now as opposed to back in the “good old days” when it was never talked about, you just thought you were losing your mind & it was your own fault. Love Heather & wish her & her daughter the best.

  11. So, where does her child go when she checks into a high dollar resort? With the cheating husband who was recently busted driving drunk with the kid in the car?

    Nice.

  12. I just knew this whole 911 call was legit. It just makes sense. I knew this was going to come up or her suicide. You can tell she’s so fragile & cannot take the cheating husband, Denise & growing old. Warning to all: This is what happens if you do not take an interest/passion outside of yourself as you get older & are used to turning heads. Besides the looks maintenance, you really need to look to another direction & cause. If she was passionate about, let’s say, a sanctuary for older, abandoned show/circus animals…she’d be busy getting funds & visiting the animals to even care about other shit. She’d be thinking about the old, depressed bear or lion she has met at a sanctuary & not be all narcissistic & about herself. NOTHING worse than an aging narcissist! Hope this hospital stint teaches her to use her power & celebrity to benefit others. Good Luck, Heather!

  13. Amy: Yeah what a terrible mother, taking care of her health. If she has depression she can’t take care of herself let alone her daughter.

Both of my parents have suffered from depression and it is very hard on a child.

Taking care of herself is the best thing she can do for her daughter. She could be with grandparents or other family or a trusted nanny or friend.

A person doesn’t choose depression anymore than they choose cancer or any other physical disease.

  14. Give her a break.

Can you imagine going through this in the public eye?

For anyone that suffers from anxiety/depression - the last thing they need is to feel judged.

i hope she gets the help she needs. i think it’s brave she’s open about it. it brings awareness to these illnesses.

  15. I wish her all the best through these hard times.

  16. “So, where does her child go when she checks into a high dollar resort? With the cheating husband who was recently busted driving drunk with the kid in the car?

    Nice.”

What a hateful thing to say. First of all, the cheating husband IS the child’s father, and like it or not, he does have a right to have a relationship with her. Also, how do you know that is where the kid is? Maybe she is visiting her grandparents or other relatives. It is summertime..she could be away at camp.

In other word, you are just assuming a negative. That’s pretty ugly. The poor woman has been through a lot over the past couple of years. I don’t fault her for trying to get a little help coping with things.

  17. OMG!!!
I can not believe some of the rude comments!

You’re on a site called celebitchy, puffnstuff. What the hell did you expect?

  19. Her daughter may well be staying with her grandparents in the LA area. I’ve read that Heather is very close to her parents and they live close to her. She also has a couple of siblings–maybe the daughter is with them. They are, as her mother put it in an article “just like everyone else.” Hopefully, that “down-to-earthedness” of her family will help in her recovery and hopefully she will get the help she needs.
