It looks like the kracks are starting to show in the Kardashian media machine. Kim, Khloe and Kourtney launched their new Kardashian-branded $99/year prepaid Mastercard earlier this week with a party at a club in New York City, for which they were each paid $25,000 to attend. They were still given hefty appearance fees despite the fact that they’re promoting an overpriced credit card for which they get a cut of the profits, which could amount to millions. Only the three sisters bailed after just an hour, angering event organizers who reminded them that they were obligated to stay for three hours in order to earn that $25k. They came back and then left after another hour, according to the NY Post. Maybe they were fighting and couldn’t stand to be around each other. Here’s more:
The Kardashian sisters commanded $25,000 to turn up at Pacha to promote their new prepaid MasterCard on Tuesday night. But now club bosses want their money back after the girls stayed for less than an hour instead of their contracted three hours before being coaxed back. The West 46th Street club paid MasterCard for Kim, Khloe and Kourtney to grace its red carpet, but “they stayed for just 45 minutes then left. The organizers were furious and were calling them demanding they come back. They did come back, but only stayed for another hour.” A Pacha rep told us, “We are extremely disappointed. They did not fill out their contractual obligations to be there for three hours. We also paid Khloe’s travel fees. We would like a refund.” The card costs $99.95 a year and could rake in millions for the sibs if their fans sign up. A Kardashian rep said, “The girls did all the press and meet-and-greets they were obligated to do. There was a miscommunication between the club and MasterCard that was not relayed to us, and so we went back.”

A couple of weeks ago, Star Magazine interviewed a media specialist who estimated that Kim Kardashian makes $35,000 and up to grace party-goers with her oversized… eyelashes. Either Star’s expert was overestimating or Kim and her clan (I wanted to use a “K” on that word, but it’s not appropriate in that context) felt that $25,000 is about an hour’s worth of their time.
Meanwhile, at that same party Khloe joked that she wants to take over the world along with her sisters. It looks like they’re closer to getting there, as long as they meet the meager obligations for which they’re paid obscenely.
Oh and here’s a heavily photoshopped ad of Kim posing for new bikini line in a tribute to Jane Fonda as Barbarella. I find that somewhat blasphemous, especially since the line is called “Divinity.”

has it ever occurred to anyone that perhaps the event attendees took up a collection to get the k-klan to leave? i mean, look at those faces. the people at the party were probably choking on their canapes and spitting out their champagne. it’s entirely possible they passed the hat, gave the klan cab fare, and wished them godspeed.

Again, they are relevant because the media keeps reporting on them. The NY Post has a picture of Khloe for this story and it is an awful picture of her. The simple fact that Kim is on the cover of People Magazine this week goes to show you how relevant they are now!! Don’t talk trash about them if you are going to keep reporting on them.

It’s just amazing how asinine, no talent and shallow Kardashians can make so much money doing absolutely nothing.
It certainly says a lot about our society who have made these useless women so popular. We have sent the wrong message to our girls that educated and strong women are less appealing than slutty and plastic bimbos who love banging all the athletes while filming their vile acts.

@becky – I watch the show and I don’t see Kim trying to make Khloe feel fatter or uglier. I’m not defending Kim since I think she thinks she is the princess of the family, when Khourtney is clearly the prettiest. I am not being argumentative, I am curious at what you are referring. Because from what I see Khloe is desperately in love/obsessed with her smaller sisters. She is always groping them, man-handling them and even kissing their a**, literally. I think she is very insecure look how she dies her hair dark and tans to look like them and puts on tons of makeup to hide all her blemishes.

Does Kim really think those eyelashes look good? It looks like there are spiders all over her eyes, I just want to rip them off. She should have stopped messing with her face a year or two ago, she looks nothing like when she first became popular from being friends with Paris, and I can’t believe how plastic she is. Kourtney seems like she has no personality to me. I like Khloe because she at least seems more down to earth than the other 2 and hasn’t messed with her face as much as the others.

Don’t pay them since they didn’t do what they were supposed to by contract. It appalls me that some people make $25k a YEAR and these girls can’t even stay somewhere for 3 HOURS to make their money. I like Khoe the best and i am happy that she seems to have a happy, well adjusted marriage. Kim, I can stomach in small doses, but Kourtney is just plain awful.
