Justin Bieber swept last night’s American Music Awards last night, taking home four trophies. I also think The Bieb got a haircut, right? His bangs aren’t quite the same, but I can’t put my finger on it. Anyway, other winners included Usher (who got two awards, and a shout-out and multiple hugs from The Bieb), Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum. People Magazine has more about the awards here. Honestly, though, from what I can see of the coverage this morning (I didn’t watch it), the biggest moment of the night was when New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys performed together (they are going on tour together – the NKOTBSB Tour):

Okay, let’s do the fashion. First up: Taylor Swift’s multiple looks. She had some costume changes, and she flat-ironed her hair, a look which I approve of – it makes her look more sophisticated. I do not approve of her constant pigeon-toed pose though.
I didn’t hate Rihanna’s dress or her hair. What is going on? She actually looks really pretty.
Miley Cyrus and her toilet roll dress. Ugh.
Lots of Katy Perry photos – she walked the red carpet, performed, and went to the after-parties with her husband. I actually saw part of her performance – she is not a live act. Ever. She sucks really hard singing live.
Kelly Osbourne – I hate her hair now.
I kind of like Jenny McCarthy’s dress. It’s cute and occasion-appropriate.
Nicki Minaj is your new Rihanna/Gaga.
Don’t ask me why Fergie is posing so hard. I have no idea.

Taylor Swift looked so beautiful. Her whole face looked different with that straight wig on.
Oh I really like Taylor Swift’s hair and her pants suit. Not that dress.
I loved Rihanna’s dress, it was amazing. However Rihanna was styled poorly. Hoop earrings and puffy hair with that dress is a hell no.
I LIVE for Keisha’s studded eyebrows. OMG I must duplicate that for my New Year’s party.
Pink, Kelly Osbourne, and Heidi looked lovely.
I dug Nicki Minaj’s dress.
Everybody else is a hawt ass mess.
Fergie needs a neck lift stat.
HUGE step up for Rihanna. Huge. Fergie was definitly the prettiest tranny in attendence, and Kelly Osborne must cry herself to sleep at night over those tacky tatoo’s.
I loved the description of Miley’s dress- did anyone see the “Miley Cyrus Show” skit on SNL? It was hilarious.

As for Taylor Swift… I’m shocked, SHOCKED, that you didn’t mention her severe BANGS TRAUMA! This is your pet peeve girl! Taylor’s are giving me trauma! Taylor is a cute girl, but the bangs age her and she doesn’t really have the fact to pull them off, they actually highlight the scrunchy-face thing she has going on.
Dang that is a serious wig Taylor has on. But her own hair, that used to be gorgeous, is lacking in presentation lately. So good for her for getting the Beyonce wig hookup.
I am puzzled by Pink’s silver hair tho.
Pink, Christina Aguilera, and Neyo were the only ones on the AMAs who could sing. Everybody else sounded like a hot buttered mess, some worse than others. For once Taylor Swift wasn’t the worst performance but I think that was because this was a pop show not a country show.
Love Jenny M’s dress. Some of Katy Perry’s dresses are surprisingly not bad (afterparty one in particular). I like Taylor’s pantsuit too. The wig is a bit much in that it looks like a wig. I think Pink is adorable these days.
Ri Ri needs to keep this fashion coordinator and stylist.

I love Rihanna’s new hair, curly hair should come back on style. I like Kelly Osbourn’s hair too, it looks much better than the old lady style she used to have. Pink and her husband look so happy! Fergie has a constipated look about her. Bieber should seriously think about changing his hairstyle(he looks like a girl). I hate Jenny MCarthy’s dress, her boobs are hanging on her waist the thing gives her no shape (pretty legs though).
I thought that Pink had to stop dying her hair because of the pregnancy and this is the mess that resulted. She’s had every color known to man, and her hair is probably just like DAMN thank god she’s pregnant so we can rest already.
I think she looks blissful though. I’m so happy that her and her husband worked it out.
