Last night, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt went out for a “date night” without the kids. They went to Guy Savoy restaurant, there in Paris, where they’ve been for the past week. At first, I thought that was Brad’s hand encircling Angelina, but that’s her hand, holding a black clutch. I can’t really make out what either are wearing – I think it was Angelina’s turn to wear leather, after Brad’s leather pants disaster a few days ago. I honestly think Angelina is wearing a leather short-sleeved blouse. Head. Desk.
With busy careers and six children to take care of, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie don’t get much time for romance. But the couple left the nannies to take care of their large brood as they enjoyed a rare night out for just the two of them in Paris last night.
The good-looking pair headed out to dinner at the Michelin-starred Guy Savoy restaurant in the 17th arrondissement of the French capital.
After enjoying an intimate meal, the pair were surrounded by paparazzi as they headed back to the suite at the five-star Meurice Hotel.

Well they look happy and they had their date night and it’s all good. By the way, I just want to note two things about these photos – I think the chef of Guy Savoy walked them out personally – isn’t that the head chef in the white jacket? Also: I love Brad and Angelina’s bodyguard. This is the bodyguard’s new thing, and he’s been in a bunch of photos lately, especially when the Jolie-Pitts go out at night – he’s flashing a high-powered flashlight at photographers in the hopes of ruining their shot. Which… I mean, come on. That’s just funny. Yes, he has actually achieved his goal and ruined a couple of shots, but Angelina and Brad are on promotional duty, and they’re selling their movies. Of course they want to be photographed.

Cute. I think its so cute they have date nights, they have been doing for it years. Paris must just be so romantic if not cold.
Not sure how high powered that flashlight is, looks like the little LED ones that are very bright. That is really funny though. However if he wants to ruin more pics he will need a bigger flashlight.

I think Angelina is wearing a leather jacket or coat, not blouse. The bodyguard has been around for a couple years now. Isn’t he the one the ragmags insisted Angelina had an “affair” with a year or two ago? I get confused because she’s had so many, you know.
Also, didn’t they have a “date night” last week at an Italian restaurant in Paris? I think it was after the “Megamind” premiere thing. But, who wouldn’t want to dine out in Paris as many times as possible? And at Guy Savoy? Of course, I could only afford the neighborhood bistros when I was in Paris but they were amazing so I don’t need the Michlin star places.

Not sure how i feel about false eyelashes. I think that like coloured contacts and waterbras they are a bit deceptive & fake. And you can always tell.

What a joke! Other A list actors go out for dinner all the time without this kind of B/S press but not the J/Ps.. Oh no, they have to make a circus out of their “date night”. Every single thing this couple does..everything is about image and the controlling of it. How pathetic and narcissistic can you be when a simple night out must be made into this kind of production? Are you trying to tell me it’s impossible to make a reservation under a different name and then quietly slip through the back door? Normal celebs do this all the time. I guess that wouldn’t show the whole world how “in love” they are now would it?
Angelina is looking happy healthy & beautiful – I think whatever issues they had have been worked out.
Whamo I’ve noticed alot of other A listers aren’t in high overload demand. If you notice the JP threads all over the web are very high in numbers whereas other A listers are not. Even when this couple have no movies coming out sites pull up old photos and they still reel in many posters.
They sure lay it on thick when she has something to promote. I predict they’ll trot out Vivienne for the grand finale, looking ever so feminine.

I prefer her hair this way without the bangs.This color really softens her features.She doesn’t need fake eyelashes.
She probably had them put on for her promotional duties or for the film. Those things can last for a month at least.
I used to wear them for a while. They were fun 🙂 I don’t begrudge her trying out something new.
She looks soft, relaxed and pretty. It looks like things are going well for them, issues have been resolved and they are settling in for the long haul. I love this couple. I wish them and their family all the best.

@liv: Colored contacts are great fun to wear. I used to have them in green, gray and hazel. Fake eyelashes are a pain to put on IMO.
@mslewis: A couple I knew who had a family of 12 children used to park the kids with babysitters and go out to dinner together one night a week, without fail. They said it was the secret of the success of their marriage. They must have been onto something, because the kids are all grown up, the couple is in their 90’s and still very happily married.
My, my! People across this great earth go on “romantic” dinner dates daily. Why is this news? They are a couple….is it news because this doesn’t happen very often? Please, enough with these two. Tired of seeing her bony rear and his sad, but aging face!

endoplasmic…..Youth! That is exactly how she keeps her face glowing. It is an age thing. She is only 35, and when she goes through the change, it will certainly become very dull, unless she is on hormone replacement! All the expensive creams in the world will not put the estrogen back in your body.

@ Redlips. You didn’t give an opinion, you said you were tired seeing them, but no one forces you to read anything about them if you so chose not to do so. I don’t like that fool Charlie Sheen, ergo I read nothing about him. Seems much easier than hapring on about him or his antics.
I just have a thought- Let people comment on the threads they want, and say what they want. I see people on other celeb threads saying they hate them or are tired of them. Just pass over the negative posts.
Noobody stops them from commenting, but it’s rather surprising to see people complain about being ‘tired’ of them, yet taking the time to comment about their supposed tiredness.

@Rose- I see the same thing in Kardashian threads( I took a pledge today to never click again), Aniston threads, Britney threads, Lohan threads about people being sick of them. This thread is no different. The more you tell others what to do, then the more the hate flies. Just my opinion.

To endoplasmic: Ever notice that Nicole Kidman has the same glow? I don’t think it’s hormones or anything natural. I’m guessing some kind of cream. It might even be slightly reflective for photography.
To those who are tired of celeb photos: I always laugh at pictures of stars at Starbucks. Breaking news: Mischa Barton (I still don’t know who she is) got a latte! I can hardly sleep at night with the excitement.
re: her skin… a large part of it is probably genetics… it’s like saying, how can I get her delicate nose! She was probably born that way… although with skin, upkeep is an important factor…
She looks good, but I have to admit, I’m so tired of them too… I think the weariness has more to do with the hope that the public will get over the hoopla already more than obsessing over it… I mean, I get annoyed when celebrities become too popular, it’s kind of a reflection of our society :-/

These two could go any length of time without the press if they wanted to but they don’t because they use the press to craft an image.
That’s the one thing about being extremely wealthy, it allows you to buy an awful lot of anonymity if you want to….they don’t.
PJ: I’m guessing maybe La Prairie. I’ve heard it’s great, and for what they charge for it, it should be.
Failing that, try plain old jojoba oil. Best thing in the world for your face and it only costs a few dollars a bottle.

I find it laughable and sometimes disturbing that the haters whine and complain about Brad and Angelina yet they read and post about them more than anybody. I don’t understand the point in wasting so much time and energy on people you supposedly hate and sick of. Another thing I don’t understand is the hypocrisy. Celebrities go out to dinner surrounded by paps and nobody cares. But when Brad and Angelina do all hell breaks loose. They never do anything different from anybody else yet they always get attacked.

@Cheyenne- La Prairie kind of sucks. I tried it several years ago. The creams are way too heavy. I looked like an oil slick when I used it.
I use Sisley. It has done wonders for my skin. Not that you were dying to know or anything. : )
True, that bodyguard is more handsome than George Clooney. Those are definitely fake eyelashes but they look really good on her. These two are happy without a doubt.
Agree with Joan, she has oily skin. Brad’s skin is not reflecting any light at all. This looks like a photo op, as she has the fake eyelashes on and more importantly perfect lipstick and gloss after a meal.
Have to say though, this is one of the best photos of her for a while. The glam look suits her. Otherwise she just looks thin and sickly.

i’m fascinated by her skin too. even up close and in more candid shots where she actually has pores her skin seems to be pretty amazing. i wonder if she gets a lot of peels- i think that makes skin really shiny and smooth.
just doesn’t seem fair. with all of that globe-trotting and all of those kids, it would seem she’d get tired-looking or overly pale or an occasional zit or something. sheesh.

My guess is she actually has dry skin otherwise she would have large pores although hard to tell considering this photo was taken from a distance. She’s probably using mineral make-up. It will give you that shine. If you want flawless skin you have to exfoliate. One of the best ways is to use a clarisonic. Seriously people it works. My skin is amazing. Sorry to sound like a braggart but it’s true. Creams no matter how expensive dont work unless they can penetrate the skin. There’s another product you can only get in Canada called Nutrifem. Google “Dini Petty” to find out about it. Anyway my “2 bits”.

Doesn’t anyone here go out to dinner? Before I leave I usually go to the ladies room, brush my hair, maybe brush my teeth and touch up my make-up. That’s about as normal as a woman can get. But nooooo. Here it must be some sinister action like a photo op. Hell, you know what, if I thought the press was taking my photo to splash across the globe I’d put some lip gloss on, too.

How do you know this? Plenty of celebs go out and sadly no one is buying their photos from photo agencies or not even bothering to take their pics.
What back doors? You expect them to go through a garbage strewn back door and then walk right back out to the street to their car? Seriously? Not many places in Paris or even in NYC have back exits that make any sense to use. And we’ve all seen these two as well as others use side and back entrances when viable and the paps know exactly where they are.
No pics of them coming to the restaurant so you can assume they quietly showed up, maybe even under an assumed name, and someone called the paps on them.
