One good way to get the troops home in a hurry, if only out of self preservation. -
Even media whores are allowed to have feelings. She is human.

I doubt this is out of sincerity as much as it is self-promotion. Her efforts would be better served visiting the many many injured and crippled soldiers at the many military hospitals and rehab facilities in this country. Only reason for her to go to Iraq is media attention.

My husband and close friends are in Iraq right now. This is not a joke for us and that’s what Heidi is turning this into. I hate people who fake patriotism and go on these trips to Iraq just to show the media what a good person they are. Its self important self serving bullsh**…….

If they’re not doing service for the USO, it’s rather a waste of resources, isn’t it? I’m sure the troops have something better to do than protect a couple of self-promoting useless parasites on society.
It’s nice of them if they are doing USO or other entertainment though. Publicity or not, it’s still an enormous amount of trouble to get all the clearances and permissions to go there.
Her stepbrother would definitely influence her interest in the troops.

Give me a break!! Those two will do anything for media attention. Would they do it if there was no media? I think not.
I am so sick of hearing about these two. They are even willing to make a big stink over whether someone made a sex tape or not. Don’t they have anything better to do?
