…Sorry, I was just thinking about possible baby names for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. BECAUSE THEY’RE HAVING TWINS!!! After playing games with our hearts, Nick Cannon has finally confirmed that yes, dreams do come true, and he and Mariah are totes having twinsies. Now we must think happy thoughts because it NEEDS to be twin girls. Totes.
It’s official: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are getting ready for baby love times two!
On his 92.3 Now radio show Thursday, Cannon confirmed that he and Carey are expecting twins.
“In order for my wife and I to have our life, we need to be up front and I need to be able to share things with you and be real,” Cannon, 30, said.
“I didn’t even tell my wife I was gonna do this,” he admitted. “I’m probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission…We are having twins!”
It gets even better, Cannon explained. During a recent White House Christmas special taping, an emotional Carey finally broke the news about the twins to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Of course they broke the news to the president of the United States first. Of course. Because President Obama needed to be the first to know about Sparklepony Glitterdazzle Cannon and Butterfly Creamsicle Cannon. I CAN’T WAIT.

Awww, good for them. I really hope they do have girls. It would be shame for a couple of boys to go around with names like Rainbow Smiles Sunshine Happy Bunny and Moondrop Applecheeks Fluffy Kitten.

I hope they’re boys. As entertaining as seeing the names and outfits she would pull together for girls, I think she would be a seriously tough (narcissistic) mother-and she’d be less damaging to boys in the long run. She’s insane-I hope he gets eventual custody.

she didn’t do In-vitro and has adaminantly said so though she did have to take progesterone shots to help make sure she wouldn’t miscarry again which isn’t uncommon. and so what even if she had as long as her and the babies are healthy it doesn’t matter. women over 40 are more likely to have mulitples anyway. they will be great parents and it’s obviously true love if it weren’t he would have left her after the miscarriage the first time

LOL! Y’all crack me up. LOVED all those name suggestions! My favorite was definitels samihami’s “Moondrop Applecheeks Fluffy Kitten”. I think the names are going to be a bit more toned down and meaningful though. I’ve only thought of girl names so far but I could totally see a Princess Lovely Cannon and a Precious Nicola Canon if not Mariposa Princess and Nicola Precious (1 N name for Nick and 1 M name for Mariah). I hope they keep it a secret. I wish them the best and look forward to the unveiling of the Cary-Cannon twins’ sexes and names!
I don’t know, I just don’t get why they didn’t just ADMIT the rumor was true when that was suspected a while back.
It always seems like whenever a celebrity takes the time to DENY a rumor, they come back to announce that *shock!* it really IS true. As though they didn’t completely lie a few weeks earlier. *shrugs*

I don’t know why but I think they will be good parents. They will spoil the kids but they will be loved. I don’t know why feel this way when everything about them screams the opposite.
@Louise: It will be interesting to see, because you’re right – everything about Mariah, at least, screams ME ME ME LOOK AT ME. And that doesn’t go hand in hand with good mothering. Carol (Middle-aged-diva): they deny it so they could have yet another reason to go to any magazine, radio or TV show to sale their story. Just yesterday Nick was saying they’re having more than one now he saying twins and the whole “In order for my wife and I to have our life” really this coming from the couple who had three weddings and sold the pictures of all three and had their second wedding sponsored so they can get the whole thing paid for by other people. Nick been dropping hint that Mariah was pregnant for months like when he said his girl is pregnant, and when the media jump thinking he meant Mariah he change his story and said it was his dog that was going to have a puppies instead of not saying anything to not draw attention to him and Mariah if they wanted to be so privet. These two well do anything for attention and when they have the twins the babies are going to be ever were and they are still narcissistic they want everything to be about them that will never change and now it’s them and their kids.

I like these two crazy kids together so this gives me a case of the awwwws.
First off, how is it anyone’s concern whether they used IVF or not? Do you ask coworkers or relatives or friends if they used IVF to conceive?
Second, she’s a high-risk pregnancy. Maybe there was some health-related reason they wanted to wait as long as possible to announce they were having twins. I don’t fault them for that at all.
No, it’s no one’s business if they used IVF.
But speculation is completely normal when a woman is over 40, especially if it’s a multiple pregnancy. But now I can see why they probably delayed the announcement of twins… If IVF was used, the odds that there could be losses early in pregnancy is high. (Especially Multiples.)
I’m sure they didn’t want anything to be public until they were more certain, which I could understand.
