TruthSF…it’s sad isn’t it? My mom constantly had Teena Marie on rotation in our house while I was growing up! Too young to die, and I feel horrible her daughter found her like that.
I’m a little surprised the “Queen of Blue-Eyed Soul” didn’t get an appreciation post. She paved the way for a lot of blue eyed soul artists.
I can see how other people could consider him attractive but he’s never really done it for me (which is weird since my type is scruffy and rugged). When I first saw him in Devil Wears Prada, I recoiled in disgust. His face is … weird. Like, all his features on their own are fine but when put together, they make him look like he’s been hit in the face with a shovel.

Simon was really hot in ‘Sunset Strip’. He appears to be a really sweet, down to earth guy (by way of ‘The View’ interview I caught).

He’s not classically handsome like The Hamm, but there’s something attractive and charming about him. I don’t watch his show, but kudos to him for scoring that deal.

I hate his eyebrows too! Especially in the Devil Wears Prada. I kept staring at them trying to figure out if they filled them in with a waxy pencil and I’m pretty sure they did. Ugh. His face looked like a rubber mask in that movie. I didn’t understand why Anne’s character was interested in him at all.

@Guilty Pleasures – His official stuff says he’s 5’10”. A friend of mine worked with him a few years ago and said that 5’10” is about right. The description of him being a “tiny short diminutive elf of a man” made me laugh, but he’s really pretty much average height.

there *was* something weird about his face in devil wears prada…i’ve loved him as an actor for a long time and ever time i see that movie i’m puzzled. rest of the time he looks DIVINE. he was on letterman or someone maybe a year ago and acted like he couldn’t be bothered with the whole hollywood thing. i think nicole kidman or naomi watts is his kids’ godmother. they’ve known each other forever. he’s low key, which really peeved letterman and quite frankly, made for a bad interview. he’s sloshed on the edges of hollywood for a while. take the money and run kid.
