It’s been bikini photo central this week for some reason. More celebrities spending the holidays in tropical locations? Perhaps. On Tuesday, we saw Bar Refaeli and Elisabetta Canalis, both in Mexico. Just a few weeks before that, we saw Megan Fox in Hawaii. And now Salma Hayek put on her little red bikini and blew all of those little girls out of the water. Salma is in St. Barts (or St. Barth or Saint Barthelemy, whatever you want to call it or spell it) with her daughter Valentina. There is no mention of Salma’s husband Francois-Henri Pinault and whether he is vacationing with his wife and daughter, but if he’s sitting at home in Paris and he sees these photos, my guess is that he’ll be on the first plane to the Caribbean. Salma… God, I just love her body. Always have. It’s insane, really. The extreme curves packed onto this tiny little frame. She’s gorgeous.
I was going to make this all about “this is how you land a billionaire – you have to look like this.” But now I’m wondering… do you think it’s strange that Salma seems to be on vacation without her husband? Do you think there’s trouble? I don’t know, and I haven’t really heard anything, I’m just judging on the lack of photos of the two of them over the past year. Maybe they just have an unusual (“European”) marriage. Maybe Salma just likes to vacation with her daughter and not her husband. Maybe I should mind my beeswax.
Lastly – How friggin’ cute is Valentina? She’s so adorable.

I saw these pictures yesterday and was just so jealous! Selma is beautiful and her body is KILLER and she not skinny. A real woman. Little Valentina is just a cutie.
As for Francois . . . Selma and Valentina were just in Paris for Christmas with him so I doubt there is any “trouble.” The man is head of a jumbo corporation so he has to work occasionally. Plus, he has two other children that he might be spending alone time with in France. Or, maybe he is in St. Barths and the paps haven’t spotted him yet. Whatever. I don’t think there is a problem in the marriage because, when they are together, it’s obvious he adores her.

re implants: From pictures I’ve seen on plastic surgery sites, she had a modestly-endowed chest that she enhanced with large implants. Now I believe she’s either removed them or downsized.

It really irks me when posters knock on someone’s height – so what if she is only 5ft2? She’s still in proportion for her body. Megan Fox is “short” too you know – people lay off height bashing please – it is something that you cannot change, like say, breast size or nose shape!! Besides, the best things come in small packages!

She had ginormous boobs before pregnancy and after post-pregnancy weight loss. Love seeing celebs playing with their kids. In general I don’t believe one word from Hollywood actors when they say they have never had plastic surgery.
Celebrities get stretch marks. Jenny McCarthy admitted she got stretch marks. Not everyone gets the red ones. A lot of women get the thin, white ones. They’re less noticeable. I got three half inch long ones on my inner thigh. I can only see them in certain light and I can feel them when I run my finger over them.
Even if they get the deep, red ones I imagine they go to the doctor and have some sort of laser therapy.
Has anyone watched the movie Grown Ups? Salma looked AMAZING in that movie. She had a scene in a bikini and I thought to myself, man she must be working out hard! I mean, she’s always had a fabulous body but she looked very fit.

Argh! All of these completely ignorant comments on boobs drive me nuts! Okay people, here’s a short lesson for you on breasts. #1 The same breasts don’t always look the same size. The bra (or lack thereof), clothing, lighting, angle, etc etc all play a huge part in how big or small boobs look. Some bras or clothing (think bustiers etc) thrust brusts up and in giving big cleavage, whilst others flatten out, pull apart, or just hold them in place. The colour you’re wearing can even make a difference. Generally bikini tops – which often don’t have underwire etc – make your boobs look smaller. #2 Boobs can go up & down in size NATURALLY over time. I have natural boobs and over the years they have fluctuated by up to 4 bra sizes and my weight has only fluctuated by a few kilos. Early last year my boobs were enormous and now they are smaller again. It’s a combination of hormones with your environment, etc etc. #3 The pill & other birth control methods can affect your brast size – so if someone is going on and off birth control or switching to different kinds, their boobs will most likely change size. #4 Having children changes your breasts (surprise surprise). My sister’s boobs went from average to a size G when whe got pregnant, and now that she has stopped breastfeeding they have gone right down again. So, before making all of these assertions, please realise that your reasons as given above don’t equate to evidence of fake boobs.

She landed a billionaire by first having his baby. Isn’t that how women do it these days? Men don’t marry women unless they pop out one of their kids beforehand (before the wedding) or said woman is in the process of such an act, am I wrong?
She and her daughter are lovely…but aside from that, I always thought her marriage to that billionaire was a little off…I can’t explain it except to say that I think it will not last long. I like both of them but it’s something I just can’t explain….I hope I’m wrong.
