We don’t hear much about Winona Ryder anymore. Every since her shoplifting conviction a few years ago the actress has pretty much stayed under the Hollywood radar. She’s shown up to the appropriate events here and there so as not to become totally irrelevant, but she’s certainly not an “it” girl anymore. And though she’s got a few decent sounding movies coming up, it appears Winona seems to think her life has sunk a lot deeper than it has, because she’s indulged in one of the lowest forms of desperation known to womankind: she’s dating Tom Green.
Movie beauty Winona Ryder has found love with Drew Barrymore’s comedian ex-husband Tom Green, according to reports.
The pair was spotted cuddling up at a Hollywood bar last week (13Au08), and pals insist an odd romance is blossoming - just weeks after Ryder split with rocker boyfriend Blake Sennett.
A source tells the National Enquirer, “Winona didn’t waste any time. She and Tom were all over each other, laughing and carrying on.”
Green was married to Barrymore from 2001 to 2002. Ryder has a long list of exes, including Johnny Depp, Christian Slater, Dave Grohl, Dave Pirner and David Duchovny.

Shudder. Dating Tom Green is like declaring to the world, “I have no options left and no faith in myself!” It’s the female equivalent of dating Shauna Sand or Phoebe Price. Actually it’s worse, because those two women are still semi/sorta/barely relevant, whereas I’d bet if you stopped twelve random people on the street no one would even remember who Tom Green was. Winona please. You have oodles of talent. You generally conduct yourself with decorum, the whole stealing-stuff-you- can-afford issue aside. This is lower than crime. This is lower than jail. You’re worth more than this. Steal yourself a better date.
Note by Celebitchy: Credit goes to this week’s National Enquirer for this news, which I don’t doubt. The Enquirer gets a lot of exclusives that have turned out to be spot on.
Here’s Winona leaving the Crown Lounge on the night in question. No that dude is NOT a suddenly better looking Tom Green. I was hopeful too for a minute there. Images thanks to WENN.

PR hook-up, no doubt.

This couple makes sense to me. Remember he married Drew Barrymore, another 90s “it” girl. I like it.

is there any man in california who has not “ridden the ryde”?
-
Daddy would you like some sausage? she’ll get ya some with a five finger discount!
-
This is not good - Tom Green is an idiot. I like Winona but I do not think she has ever gotten over losing Johnny. I would feel the same way! Unfortunately I have also heard what you have, kate, that her nickname is “Wanna Ride Her.”
I would love to see her make a comeback! I loved her in Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice.

Aside from his tastelessness, I swear I heard that Barrymore broke things off with him for something along the lines of him playing in his own defecate.
If I were Winona, I just wouldn’t risk it.

is there any man in california who has not “ridden the ryde”? Go back to 1870 when women who enjoy sex are still considered freaks, whores and sinners, idiot.
-
@vdantev: yeah, i should go back to 1870. you’re right! my apologies for thinking this is a fun celebrity snark forum. oh and also, thank you for explaining women’s sexual/social history for me…the professors in college didn’t do that nearly as well as you have. and the funny thing is, i am a woman and yet had no idea that women who liked sex were considered whores…that’s new, life-altering information for me. thank you, vdantev, thank you.
-
Right on the money, vdantev. Also, why single her out? It’s like a musical beds soap opera with lots of other celebs.
-
“Also, why single her out?”
maybe cause it’s a post about winona ryder’s love life? wow…you people seriously need to lighten up. i never called winona anything, but that reminds me: on another thread about sienna miller’s love life vdantev called her a whore. hypocrite much?
-
Damn now it looks like Winona has a new, waxy face too, just like Meg Ryan. How do they expect the public to recognize them? Her looks were always cute and offbeat.
-
I do like Wiona but i dont say i dont like her dating with Tom Green.
-
The lowest form of desperation I can possibly think of is a guy who writes blogs about the tabloids.
Everything you want to know about Tom Green is at tomgreen.com where he has been doing his own show for over 2 years.
It’s way better than this POS site. This guy was just jealous Tom Green was seen talking to a hot chick like Winona.

Hey, you know what else is barely relevant, almost every single comedy that has came out the past few years! My theory? Hollywood is confused and frightened by such cutting edge lol-masters like Tom Green, and replace him with blue-chip comedians that have been telling the same tired joke their whole career. Tom Green has more talent in his mono-ball than anyone in Hollywood today.
I would trade all the crap they call comedies today for one more “Freddy Got Fingered” -
I think that it is a very interesting and amusing article. Practically all its main points are true.

I would not care about the shop lifting at all. She is so incredibly beautiful. I would put up with a lot of her shenanigans.

Wow, Winona is hot, and Tom Green is kind of, well.. hard to describe - both looks and personality wise. Of course this is simply the sides of them that we see. Who knows what they are really like in the privacy of their own lives.
Perhaps they really click, and them going out together is a good for them. I have found that dating people outside my normal target can lead to some very interesting, and fun relationships.

Funny write up JayBird, “I have no options left and no faith in myself!” It’s the female equivalent of dating Shauna Sand or Phoebe Price. HA!
I haven’t seen much of her lately, or him for that matter, is this ‘hook-up’ for PR?
