Kaiser, the age is fine (as far as I know). She was pregnant at 17 and gave birth when she was 18. Julez was born in October ‘04.

Yeah, solange sounds SOOOO boring in that interview with her expressionless face & voice. The only time she showed any personality was when she pouted: “I don’t think that was a very professional introduction waaa waaaaa… Don’t mention me and my sister at the same time waaa waaaaaa!”–(mimicking solange in a whiney voice) Too bad she sucks and the only thing people know about her is that her SISTER is famous. I guess I can see why that bugs her. Always playin’ second fiddle, eh Solangry.
I don’t like beyonce and now I don’t like her snotty & boring sister. I DO like that reporter, though. She kept up that smile, even though you KNOW she probably wanted to slap solange upside the head(and THAT would have been awesome to see, btw).

My hat is off to that reporter! Talk about someone who can keep a cool head & keep the interview going despite a sour-puss, 8th tier celebrity attitude from Solange. Solange just demostrates why she will never have a career of her own. Hysterical!

@Strawberry in Disguise - I’m a fan of Tamia (amazing voice! youtube her) and she was NOT pregnant at 17. She’s been married to Grant Hill for a while now, and she has a four year old and a new baby.
Maybe you mean Brandy? I think she was pretty young when she got pregnant, although not 17…Or you probably meant Solange, she had a (crappy) album out before this one, a few years ago.

KVVU FOX5 is a Las Vegas station, not L.A.
That reporter was way too nice. These sattelite tour interviews are usually free to the news show in exchange for promoting a product, in this case that would be Solange’s CD, maybe that’s why.

Reporter: Oh, Beyonce’s sister- but you’re not Beyonce though, are you ?
Solange: No I’m…
Reporter: Not Beyonce, I know…. so who are you ?

The reporter handled this very well. I think Solange is tired of being compared to her sister and that’s why she reacted this way, granted she made a fool of her self.
Solange is very talented. She writes her own songs and has written songs for her big sister Beyonce. Beyonce can only sing, her acting is garbadge.
Listen to Solange’s album and you will see that she has talent.

Solange that interview was truly a disappointment not only to yourself but to your family and the people of Houston. That reporter was highly polite and was only making a statement that you stepped out of Beyonce’s shadow you will never even almost be close to B acting like a child. You need to check yourself and re-evaliate your marketing techiques cause so far I know no one excited about your CD and moments like this will only make it worst!! Get it together

you know it sucks b/c there are so many people who are working hard with actual talent who would much better fit the bill but b/c she has a famous sis and brother in law she becomes famous b/c i bet she doesnt work half as hard as her sis did from the look of her attitude it seems like she thought it was supposed to be given to her. An atleast when Ashley Simpson stepped out of Jessica’s shadow she didnt sound or act anything like her. Solange looks like a bad Beyonce impersonater. Same sound, same clothes and same dance style. I would get mad too if people kept on asking me about my sister’s life, like i don’t have a life of my own. If they want to know Beyonce’s business they should be asking beyonce not her. It’s like the media is pushing her talent a side, and acting like their interested in her music just to get information about Beyonce. Solange doesn’t want to be Beyonce she wants to be herself, and just because she wants to be known and be as famous as her sister it doesn’t mean she wants to be her. Every body wants to be known for being themselves and there’s nothing wrong with that. The only reason why people think she’s being selfish is because she’s beyonce’s sister, but if she wasn’t and was acting the same way right now about people asking her questions about her sister people would understand more about where she is coming from.

Yeah, I really do think the ages of this family have gotten screwed up - I seem to remember Solange being 16 when she got knocked up… and now she’s 22, and the kid is four? Very skecthy…
Also, it sounds like Solange needs a MAJOR attitude adjustment.
