Charlie Sheen is receiving “in-home rehab”. Of course.

Charlie Sheen is going to “rehab”… at home. Because that’s where all of the porn stars and cocaine are. Yes, TMZ and other sources are now claiming that Charlie is not going to be checking into Promises, or Betty Ford, or even the best rehab, JAIL. I don’t even think what Charlie is getting now should even be considered “out-patient rehab”. It’s basically like Charlie gets to sit in his house, doing cocaine off of a porn star’s fake boob, and he gets to call it “rehab”. Oh, I guess that the porn star will probably be dressed as a nurse. That’s Charlie’s concession to the process!

After numerous stints in rehab, Charlie Sheen is about to receive some specialized care — and he doesn’t even have to leave the house to get it.

The 45-year-old actor — who was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday after two days on nonstop partying — will be receiving in-home care for his addiction issues.

“He’s getting treatment done at home,” a source tells UsMagazine.com of the troubled TV star. “He’s doing rehab there.” (A TMZ source confirms that Sheen is being treated at home.)

The Two and a Half Men actor’s rep previously told Us that the decision was made “voluntarily” and that Sheen “is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern.”

As a result of Sheen’s current situation, Two and a Half Men was placed on a production hiatus Friday.

“We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision,” the network told Us in a statement.

[From Us Weekly]

So, is it onward and upward with the death spiral? Was that “hernia” situation last week just a minor blip, a brief moment of relative sobriety before returning to the hard work of being completely nutburgers? Well, most people do think that Charlie isn’t going to be returning to work for a little while – but that it probably won’t be the “three months” that everyone’s talking about. I give it a week of “home rehab”. And then Charlie will go back to work. And he’ll go back to “play”.

Rehab at home? How will anyone prevent Charlie from getting drugs delivered to his home? and did they search the home for drugs before he was allowed in? This is crazy

  2. the_porscha says:

Wow. I hope his rock bottom isn’t death. This is just sad and terrible. I can’t even look into his eyes in the pictures; Lord knows what he’s like in person.

  3. brin says:

This is a joke…how many wake-up calls does he need? The problem is that he has no consequences, so I think his rock bottom just may be the grim reaper.

  4. ghostwriter says:

“We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision,” the network told Us in a statement.

    ——-

That quote might have made sense if it had been:

We are profoundly concerned for our financial health and well-being, and support his delusion,” the network told Us in a statement.

  5. Quest says:

    “In-home Rehab”:-

Will get coke “ah mean perscriptions drugs” in home
will get drunk “ah mean ethanol” in home
will get hookers “ah mean nursing care” in home
will get all the rehabilitation treatments in home?????

    In-home Rehab? Bahahahaha…lmao

  6. YT says:

Ol’ Charlie enjoys his lifestyle and could care less about how it affects his children or those who depend on his show for a paycheck.

In-home rehab is not a surprise. All he has to do is hire a “professional” to look the other way and be totally ignored by Charlie.

  7. the original bellaluna says:

Of course. Just like his ex-wife (Brooke) and we all saw how well that worked out for her!

And his “rock bottom” may very well be the Grim Reaper. How much lower can he go, really?

  8. OXA says:

Will the hookers and drug dealers be dropping in for “Group Therapy”
Radaronline says his dad is quietly checking into a Conservatorship for him. Also the news had film of his assistant at an upscale grocery store picking up 3 carts full of “groceries” for Charlie.

  9. Marjalane says:

Well this is going to piss off Lindsey Lohan for sure. It’s disgusting that CBS is part of this- maybe if they flat out fired him, (permanently) and shut down his show,(permanently) he’d take it a little more seriously.

  10. Roma says:

Insane. They’ve just put him on a house lockdown because that’s the only way he could get into “rehab”. He’ll sit quietly so he can get back on air and make his millions and then he’ll be back to boozing and drugging.

The reality is that this isn’t new behaviour for hollywood, only prostitutes and mistresses used to keep their mouths shut. Now every bimbo with a boob job and a vagina is trying to ride these scandals to 15 minutes of fame.

  11. photo jojo says:

He doesn’t think he has a problem. No amount of rehab is going to work for him, sadly. I think he’s enormously talented and I wish he’d get clean but if he’s not willing to do the work, he’ll get nowhere, no matter how badly everyone else can see he needs help.

  12. Crash2GO2 says:

“How will anyone prevent Charlie from getting drugs delivered to his home? and did they search the home for drugs before he was allowed in?”

They can’t and won’t even try. This is all voluntary on Charlie’s part (read “just for show”). The only lock down rehabs are the ones you are sentenced to by the courts. All others are voluntary.

  13. Happymom says:

He doesn’t think he has a problem. And CBS doesn’t want to lose $$. So this is clearly the perfect solution. He’ll be back at work and drugs/porn/hookers/alcohol within 2 weeks. I feel really sorry for his family.

  14. guesty says:

    Laughable.

  15. MarenGermany says:

    seriously, best joke ever!
    who believes this?
do they honestly think everybody is THAT naive?
haha, “home-rehab” really made my day!

  16. Nanea says:

    @ # 4 – ghostwriter:

Thanks for fixing that press release!

  17. mln76 says:

Also the cops can’t find the 20 grand worth of coke ( I wonder where that went ) so there will be absolutely no concequence for him legally. Why am I not surprised?

  18. Bocole says:

Damn…must be nice to able to still call the shots on how the rehab is going to play out.

Remember the Las Vegas weekend, where he had an “ear infection”. And what was the medical problem in NY, oh yeah allergic reaction to medicine. CBS should be ashamed of themselves, enabling a drug and sex addict all for the bottom line.

  19. Green Is Good says:

Is this a JOKE? “In-Home rehab”? Oh, please. He’s a self-entitled, spoiled jackass. His rock-bottom will be a pine box.

Somewhere, a certain drunken firecrotch is pissing and whining how Charlie is getting special treatment.

  20. njnick says:

@ photo jojo – you hit the nail on the head. He just doesnt think anything is wrong so good luck trying to get him to change.

  21. phlyfiremama says:

Well, this is surely going to end well. What a GREAT idea, Charlie! Like you HAVE any privacy or secrets left to be spilled by itenerant rehab workers.

  22. Justaposter says:

umm isn’t ‘in home rehab’ kinda like ‘working out at home’.. you know, where you watch the work out videos while chowing down on tastey naughty snacks?

  23. Isabel says:

So…he’s going to die by June, right?

  24. hellen says:

I think his real addiction is to….douchy hats.

  25. Hautie says:

I also want to know what happen to the suitcase full of coke.

Unless Denise went in there and flushed it down the toilet, Charlie is at home finishing up his coke.

Isn’t the first thing rehab is suppose to do is get a person out of his immediate environment?

Away from the place that he did a whole lot of coke and hookers at?

  26. Anna says:

Just wondering; if Charlie pulls a “Phil Spector” and winds up with a dead woman at his house will The Powers That Be continue to look the other way?

  27. StraightfromA says:

Does anyone else but me look at his hair and think- hair piece? (I know Martin Sheen has a full head of hair but his hairline looks weird to me)

    Anyway…

CS is a cokehead. He LIKES being a cokehead (he said so this week). Stop me if I am wrong but the first step to rehab is admitting you have a problem and wanting to fix it- so why the pretense CBS? Let him work till he drops or kills someone (sadly probably a woman given his history). Might as well make hay while the sun is shinning…

  28. bluhare says:

His assistant cleaned the place out before the paramedics got there would be my guess. Radar’s saying the guy’s his chief enabler.

But they should just let him go his way. If he doesn’t think he needs help he won’t get any.

  29. randomness says:

Someone pointed this out to me yesterday. He gets caught with hookers and cocaine and no drug charges have been brought against him. While people with $10.00 crimes are rotting in jail. Think about it….

  30. wunderkindt says:

    Coke-n-porn ‘home therapy’ no doubt.

Update: The Adrienne & Paul have 911 on speed dial now.

  31. lucy2 says:

What a joke. This isn’t for his health, it’s to keep the bad publicity down. They need to FIRE HIM, and then sue him for lost revenue.

StraightfromA – I’ve long thought there’s some fake hair happening there, especially in the weird bangs area.

  32. original kate says:

something tells me his at-home rehab involves naughty nurses, K-Y jelly, viagra, cocaine and lots of jack daniels. god, he is really skanky, and quite untalented. he’s like the male kim kardashian.

  33. R. Harris says:

DIRTBAGS LIKE HIM ARE THE REASON THAT THE SON OF MY MAYOR CAN GET A DUI AND GET A JOB IN THE CITY GOVERNMENT A MONTH LATER-
THROW HIM IN JAIL, SUE HIM FOR BEING A MENACE TO SOCIETY AND STOP MAKING IT OK FOR RICH PEOPLE TO GET AWAY WITH BLATENT DRUG USE-
    NO REHAB
MAKE HIM GO TO JAIL LIKE ANY POOR PERSON WOULD

  34. Jeri says:

Well, his attitude and statement explain it. Along the lines of…”Most people don’t get it that you can have fun and work too.” Then he called people “turds.”

  35. Ally says:

California is in financial crisis. They can’t afford to prosecute someone with this much money for lawyers. Unless he kills someone. Then they’ll think about it.

  36. Hmmm says:

It’s ludicrous lip-service. Feh. The people surrounding him continue to enable him.

  37. MrsOdie2 says:

I absolutely do not care what happens to Carlos Estevez. I feel bad for the hundreds of people who work on his show. CBS should pay them all because they made a bad call hiring this addict.

What do you think is better for his children? Having him for a father or NOT having him around? I vote the latter.

  38. Truthzbetta says:

    WTF is wrong with him?

His voice is great like Michael Douglas or something, but he just is such a head scratcher.

How can so much be so wrong with one bozo? Maybe Lilo can tell a book to someone between blackouts that will explain this whole species to the rest of us.

  39. Camille says:

Ugh. This a’hole disgusts me no end.

  40. albeli says:

    He’s disgusting.

And it’s also disgusting that he never meets any consequences for this crap.

  41. Kim says:

When did they start calling prostitues and drugs done at home “in home rehab?”

  42. fallen says:

this guy has been given too many chances!

  43. Barb says:

HOME REHAB will never work because Heather Locklear tried it several times and failed miserably. She finally succeeded when she checked herself into a REHAB INSTITUTION…Sorry Charlie!

  44. MrsOdie2 says:

I’m sure Carlos’ assistant IS his chief enabler. Wouldn’t be worth much as an assistant if he weren’t!

  45. JenJen says:

His “assistant” was seen buying 3 grocery carts, of (?) alot for a single guy “detoxing”.

  46. JenJen says:

@Hellen, LOL about the hats, maybe he’s a frustrated, wanna-be pimp.

  47. Abby says:

I read somewhere that his assistant is a childhood friend and apparently doesn’t think Chuck has a problem.
That’s probably why he’s still around.
