This is the list of best dressed? It looks like a crayon box exploded with violent vomiting of color.

    Felicity Huffman, too.

  6. Kaiser says:

Somebody (I think on Today) said that Olivia Wilde’s Reem Acra dress was originally made for Angelina Jolie, but Jolie couldn’t wear it when she got pregnant.

Louise-Parker looks like she got her dress and make-up from Wal-Mart. Not even close to being best dressed.

Loved Kyra and Brooke Shields – they were/are beautiful.

I didn’t like Mary Louise Parker’s dress and make up, either, Kaiser, I thought she looked AWFUL. I didn’t like the color of the dress with her pale skin at all. And before anyone FREAKS OUT, I’m not saying I don’t like pale skin (if you saw my husband you’d know that, lmao), I’m just saying I don’t like the contrast on Parker! And her Bonne Bell lipstick was a baaaaad, baaaad choice!

I also didn’t like Laura Dern’s dress. I kept thinking she musta stole from the set of Swingtown, lol.

  8. McKenna says:

Ok, how can anyone think Mary Louis Parker’s dress looks good? It’s tacky and low-budget looking. It looks like she picked it up at the local mall. You think she looks good and Debra Messing was put on the worst-dressed list? Who compiled this list anyway?

    I’s agree
ML Parker-got it way wrong with that color blue- I think only blondes can wear that shade.
Laura Dern- needs to be in the worst list. Her small chest doesn’t fill out the top nicely.
Holly Hunter- love you but you have the man arms syndrome going on. Wear a capped sleeve and cover those big guns up a bit.
Brooke Shields- you nailed it, for once!
She chose the right color and she looked feminine.
I liked that women chose bright colors- I’m not a fan of blah black.
Oh, I also loved Kate Walsh’s hair!

  10. geronimo says:

Yikes, so many of these could so easily be on the ‘bad’ list. Lot of great dress/wrong body combos or totally the wrong colour or the make-up/hair is off.

I’m starting to think Phoebe Price looks alright. 8O

  11. Al says:

    Laura Dern’s body is amazing.
Mariska Hargitay was TOO BRIGHT! You would need sunglasses to look at her and she’s too tan.
    Kyra looks sooo cute.
I don’t know who Olivia Wilde is but I love her Romeo and Juliet (1969)-style dress!

this is the best dressed? really? ok, here goes: holly hunter’s arms are way too mannish for that dress. kyra looks washed out. olivia’s dress is pretty. mary louise looks cheap to me…hate that color. mariska looks like an oompa loompa. vanessa’s dress would be great if that sparkly strap was removed. alfre’s boobs are totally crushed in her dress and her hair looks like a rooster. brooke looks pretty.

Mariska looks beautiful, but it didn’t really sound like a compliment from you guys, just describing the dress.

Mary Louise Parker’s dress looked like a throwback she had in her closet from Prom or Homecoming. 8O

Olivia Wilde looks perfect, love the cap sleeves on her gown.

Maybe my computer is off but Lara Spencer’s gown looks orange not scarlet. Lovely gown though.

  17. Gigohead says:

:D I have to say, Laura Dern did look fantastic. I’m sorry, but that dress does not need huge breasts to make it look good.

I do believe, Holly Hunter’s arms are a bit scary. Sleeves next time Girl.

I agree with Gigohead about Laura Dern. I love her dress(except for the pockets) and I think she looks great. Small boobies and all.

  19. actingrc says:

cap sleeves would only make the man arms worse on holly h. it’s the halter-ish neckline which draws attention to her (admirable) shoulders and thence to the ensuing arm buffness. her lipstick is the real crime.
also, ml parker, get a haircut, i can see your split ends from here. your hair looks like that of a well-loved my little pony.

Did Mariska accidentally get moved to the wrong list? That bright yellow getup screams “Big Bird”….all she needs is some feathers on her head and she’s all set to take her place next to Bert and Ernie :?

I love Brooke’s dress. And the close up reveals how truly beautiful she is– without botox. What a concept! We should all be so lucky.

I was watchin fashion police where three american rednecks were talking of how bad were dressed the people attending the emmy awards. While they were set up like 50′s vacuum sellers. It’s incredible how these american people in the past 3-4 years have improvised an instant knowledge of how to dress up, without neither knowing of what they re talking about.
It’s really funny to listening to these mr.nobody talking of things they could never handle……Just to remind these folks Beauty is directly connected and related to the place you come from. It’s not by chance that France and Italy are the reigns of style, fashion, etc. It’s because these two countries are the reign of beauty since the age of times.
Beauty there is in the nature, in the environment, in art and architectre… That’s why italian painters are the best ever, because they grew up in a beauty context. So is France , Italian and French are beauty-inspired countries. Unfortunately America is not connected to beauty in that sense. It’s more a beauty of wilderness, connected to adventure, technology, power, military but not style neither elegance or fashion. Sorry. It’s admirable all the efforts we make to imitate (mostly because of trying to intercept the fashion industry profits) but please stop doing it as we are just funny. More funny than anything is the failing attempts of building a world leading fashion industry by that smelly trout of the vogue america director.
. She’s just a sewer trout because the last thing that inspire her would be beauty, she s making fun of americans, making us believe we have a fashion leading role, when that black rapper will understand he has been fooled by her, she’ d better run far away, cauz he’s got a gun I guess. Anyway, I am just warning people that a lot of lies have been told to americans and the biggest liar is this entertainment television, who pays editors to make them smile and to express positive judgements to the worst crap ever made. Turn to technology, leave beauty to the beautyfuls.
