Dita Von Teese launches her Wonderbra line

Burlesque performer and International sensation Dita Von Teese, 35, launched her new line of undergarments with Wonderbra today, posing with a giant bra with a sequin bow design on the cups. She was also shown flanked by models wearing the line, which feature retro-inspired prints and styles.

I’m not a big Dita Von Teese fan - she’s too haughty for my taste, but that’s part of her appeal I guess. Wonderbra could not have picked a better spokesperson, though. Dita exudes retro glamor and this collection is seductive with pieces that range from elegant to naughty. I would definitely wear some of these bras.

Dita’s new line is available at stores online and in the UK starting today. You can find a store near you on SexyScienceByDita.com.

  2. The Wonderbra was design to give curves to gals who might be lacking a bit in the chest dept. Dita has breast implants! How is this bra any feat of technology when she is wearing it? She has perfect manufactured boobs as it is. Face it your tits will never look like hers in this bra unless you buy the accompanying $10,000 surgery.

  3. Just had a look on figleaves - they’re not actually that expensive (or maybe I’m just used to the prices on figleaves and have successfully managed to persuade myself they’re reasonable and/or I’m worth it?)

But I love this collection, very beautiful, very Dita.

  4. This is going to get me flogged big time, but I’ve kept quiet long enough: I just don’t think Dita is all that pretty. I do like her style, but her face just doesn’t blow me away.

  5. She’s totally beautiful - and in those bottom pics, she’s mind-blowingly sexy!

    Dita rocks. :D

  6. Dita is doing nothing new here, that’s why it’s called ‘retro’. She also uses a stylist for her own look. Apparently while taking clothing off isn’t a problem for her, putting them on presents more of a challenge.

I might be more impressed if she came out with a line of stiletto-inspired sex toys. I wonder if Wonderbra saw that little vignette…anyone know?

  7. Codzilla, have you seen any pictures of her when she isn’t all made up? She isn’t your conventional beauty, but I can see your opinion. I think a lot of her beauty comes from her image and the personality she puts forth. I like her.

I am going to wander off now and go see just how nicely G treats herself… :P
Edit: Geronimo, you are right, the prices are really decent!

  8. she’s not beautiful, she’s pretty, sure, but not beautiful. Her face features are nothing amazing. her appeal comes from her body and all that makeup, so she has a look but she’s not gorgeous

  9. Although I’m big on the burlesque scene, I don’t think she’s the most gorgeous woman in the world myself– however, she’s definitely one of the most stylish women I’ve ever seen and I’d love to have her wardrobe. Since I can’t, guess it’s over to Wonderbra for me!

  11. I got hold of a copy of her book (mostly pictures and probably ghost-written, but that’s by-the-by) and she quite readily admits that she’s not the world’s most beautiful woman. She was a plain, mousey kid who happened to discover that she loved the Bettie Paige/burlesque/hyper-feminine thing. She’s really all about ‘look what you can make of yourself’ if you find the look that makes you happy and feel like ‘you’.
I also find her quite refreshing, especially in an age where performers (particularly musicians e.g. Madonna, Britney) have made it their stock in trade to re-invent themselves not just for every album but for every new music video. She’s distinctive and stylish and that makes her beautiful, IMHO.
