I’m not a huge fan of Liv Tyler in general, but I don’t dislike for any reason. She’s pretty harmless, and I appreciate that she’s not a famewhore who gets pap’d constantly. She’s made some good movies, and she’s made some terrible movies, and I’m always surprised that she consistently gets work, because I’ve never thought she was very talented. But I’ve always thought she was pretty, in a “different” way. She has a unique beauty, and yet… she has a kind of girl-next-door prettiness that makes her seem like the kind of woman that you could hang out with and go shopping with. Anyway, these are photos of Liv (and her dad) at last night’s premiere of Super. At first, I didn’t even recognize her. I thought I was looking at photos of Rebecca Hall!
So, here’s the question: did Liv get a little nip-tuck, or am I just surprised with these photos because I’m not constantly bombarded with pap photos of her? Something about her eyes looks weird to me. There’s a tightness, I guess. Or maybe it’s just the makeup? Or because she’s standing next to her dad? If she had some work done, I’ll be disappointed.

I dunno. She kind of looks like she always does to me. I think it’s this particular hairstyle; it’s making her face look longer than normal. Or maybe she’s just lost some weight.

Her brows look higher. And she is her father’s daughter, poor thing. (I don’t mean that in a cruel way – I’ve always found her beautiful in an original way – but he’s not aged well AT ALL.) AND her role in One Night at McCool’s was extremely entertaining.

Bit of botox I think, and her hair looks really flat and close to her head, so that ain’t helping. But I still think she is absolutely stunning, one of my top 10 most beautiful actresses, after charlize theron, monica bellucci, and marion cotillard.

I have a long face and as much as I loved my long hair (with help from extensions), it only ever lengthened my face.

I always thought she was quite a stunner!
I don’t think she had surgical work done, because her face looks about the same as the last time I saw pics of her, but maybe some kind of chemical peel to fight off fine lines and wrinkles. Looks good.

Liv is and has always been an extraordinarily stunning woman. Have you seen Stealing Beauty? Armageddon? LOTR?
There is nothing ‘next-door’ about her beauty.
However, I’ll admit that her face has always been rather long, something that wasn’t a problem before, but now that she has aged and lost fat in her face it does look a bit odd.
She just needs to gain some weight back and she’ll be back to being a total stunner.

I like her. She is genuine, unique, and original. It is good to be different, and not cloned like the rest of Hollywood. I liked her movie Jersey Girl with Ben Afflick. She is a real person, with a real personality. If any facial improvements were done, they were tastefully done. Everything in moderation, in a balanced way. We all have things that make us happy. Whatever she chooses to do, she isn’t harming anyone.

I think it’s a combination of makeup, hair, angle, weight loss, and the fact that her eyebrows have been groomed into different shape. All those things make a big difference.

Why on earth should she “look the same as she always has”? We are ALL getting older, people. And when you get older, your looks change. Maybe subtly, but they do. Your face settles, eyes change, nose changes, whatever. Maybe she did have ‘work’ and maybe she didn’t. But why on earth does nobody ever consider the fact that some people, sometimes, are just aging? Do YOU look the same as you did five years ago? I sure don’t. More’s the pity, but let’s be realistic. It’s always a possibility that she is just. getting. older.

I thought she was a Alanis Morisette so I do think she has done some tweaking. Also, i thought she was closer to 38 or maybe even 40. Those videos she did with Alicia Silverstone played every morning on Mtv when I was getting ready for school, high school. So I thought she was several years older than me (and i think she looks several years older than me); but alas, she is several years younger than me. Anyway, I am with you, Kaiser, she is pretty harmless. i think she is probably probably a fairly sweet and shy person, like her father. Steve Tyler really is one of the sweetest guys in the world. I know he has his demons but he also has a heart of gold.

I have always found her relationship with Steven Tyler creepy from the way she found out about her paternity on. Who else remembers that stripper pole scene in the video Crazy where she is imitating Steven and having a borderline lesbian relationship with Alicia Silverstone?

she’s beautiful but her sister mia is the one i have a girl crush. =) i find her gorgeous and real and very confident on herself.

If Liv has had any work done, it’s subtle and understated. But I agree with other posters who say she looked better – healthier and more appealing – when she had a little weight to her face and body. Everyone looks better with more meat on their bones the older we grow!

Man, I still to this day can NOT watch Armageddon without bawling my eyes out at the end of that movie. It’s one of my all time favs, aside from LOTR. I haven’t seen Empire Records yet, but considering to all the good reviews on here, I’ll have to check it out. She has been one of my biggest girl crushes for years. I just adore her. And nah, I don’t think she’s had any surgery, botox, fillers…I agree with others who have said she’s just aged.

I was at the American Idol taping last night, and so was Liv and she looks even MORE beautiful in person. SHe photographs a little bit different than she actually looks. Anyway, gorgeous girl.

She does look a little different but I think she got very slim again. Last paparazzo pic I saw of her, she was heavier, not in a bad way, just more than before she had a child and was younger etc.
I think she might be wearing some fake eyelashes and her hairstyle is different.
Peoples lips thin a little as they age and their noses continue to grow (minimally) but that could be why she looks a little different too.
I used to LOVE her because I thought she was so pretty. I kinda like that she’s been a bit MIA because she is busy raising a child.

I thought she had a few shadows under her eyes today on “The View”. I wish she would eat more. I wish they wouldn’t have put her RIGHT next to Kirstie, who has great legs in her own right, and I DON’T think Sherri Shepard (sorry if I mispelled your name Sher, and congrats on your wedding to Sal, hope he provides Jeffrey with a wonderful father) should’ve talked about Liv’s legs.
