Ethan Hawke’s a excellent actor that’s because the people have always fell he’s playing himself so hate him. Besides he got married Uma Thurman what jerk fans don’t forgive. Ethan Hawke’s a romantic man, excellent actor, writer and proved right now that can directed too. So… the people go on hate him. I pity them.

Ethan Hawke doesn’t pretentious. He’s a genuine man. He says what he thinks and this bother a lot of persons. I love him since Reality Bites and always feel people don’t forgive his marriage with Uma Thurman. Why? If they are in love so much? Why if he’s such good actor. There’re those jerks for Uma but they forgive that Ethan refused movies to be with his kids, all the time. Meanwhile Uma was in set the films doing What she loved, her career. Now she says that want be good mother and give up her career. Why now? Why she didn’t it when they were married? This was all he want. Go on Ethan be happy. Don’t matter with those person that don’t understand your feeling and your lifestyle.

“pretentious, self-indulgent and overly ambitious”–well, that’s exactly how I feel about Ethan. I hated him since “Reality Bites” and always felt he was playing himself in it. Loved the Sunset/Sunrise movies but mainly because of great script and Julie Delpy. Real Ethan is not such a gem, I’m afraid. I was always on Uma’s side, particularly after those awful comments about her being “big” (you know where) after the kids were born. Maybe this is Karma face, after all?
