Kim Kardashian keeps telling people that she wants her wedding to be comparable to the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William. She views herself as an American princess, and she’s using the royal wedding as her scale, her dream, her aspiration for how her wedding will be. Sure, you could be offended by that. But why not just laugh? It’s just funny. Anyway, I brought that up because one of the things that made me respect our Duchess Kate was that she gave her sister Pippa a really beautiful maid of honor gown. Kate, in a bout of amazing graciousness on HER day, let her sister look lovely. Do you think Kim will do the same for her bridesmaids?
These are new photos of Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian arriving at for their dress fittings in LA. Neither of them look happy! Neither of them arrived looking very good to start with, and I imagine the mood went even further downhill when the fittings began. Of course Vera Wang makes beautiful gowns. But I’m just guessing that Kim picked the worst of the best. There are already some details about the dresses – they seem to be a weird pinky-eggplant color, and they’re short.
Should we even discuss what Khloe and Kourtney wore to the fitting? Which is worse? I can’t even decide. I guess Khloe’s is worse, because I can see how Kourtney may have fooled herself into thinking she looked cute (she doesn’t). But Khloe! Jesus, girl. Hot pink harem/hammer Capri pants in the form of a JUMPSUIT?!? How does so much unflattering fugness go into ONE jumpsuit?

WTF is up with Kloe’s NOSE? Or is that Kourtney? I mean the one in the pink monstrosity. I thought it was just bad lighting, but she looks just as bad in the second pic. Was her nose always that big? It looks fake, right?

Actually (i’m really not trying to feed the baby rumor machine) but it looks like what happens to some women when they’re pregnant. Whatever the case, I highly doubt she would pay kash to get a nose like Miss Piggy’s (unless Lamar is into that?). NB- I LOVE Khloe she’s my favorite. I’m not trying to be mean and I hope she finally births a kid in the next year.
@Kasey: really? Getting pregnant can make your NOSE get bigger? I did not know that. I’m still finding myself staring at the pics. I think it looks like she put on a fake nose, like Nicole Kidman did in The Hours. By why would she do that? So many questions.
The pink jumpsuit could be cute as a dress. Take out all the volume and the pant legs.. the color, top, and belt are cute.
Not even Gisele could wear that pink monstruosity and look good.

@Cherry – my coworker, while she was preggers, gained very little weight with exception to her face. Her cheeks, her chin, her nose – it was interesting.
Kourtney’s outfit reminds me of old dolls missing the heavy stuffing or teeny tiny sumo wrestlers (it looks like she’s got a huge upper body). It’s horrifying.

Yep, it can definitely make your nose wide! I look at pics of myself when I was pregnant and I’m a different person. J-Lo’s nose got really wide, as I recall, too. I remember a lot of us observing it when she was preggers.

Khloe rocks that colour, the cut not so much, whilst Kourtney’s ensemble just hurts my eyes.

I dont know if it’s an ethnic thing or not but I’m hoping (if I ever meet a man willing to accept me for me and spur me on and inspire me to believe and accept the work that goes into being a good, godly wife to him and later mother to his kids) as a black woman I dont look forward to the potential of my nose expanding/ increasing in size.

Khloe looks weird in this pic, I normally don’t say to much about her looks because I think she’s been self conscious about her looks her whole life, but when you become a fame whore, you pay a price of having everything about you under scrutiny, your looks and your personality. seeing or reading about this clown family and their lives never fails to uplift my regard for my own life. i am thrilled to NOT be a kardashian (for one thing, that NAME, gack!, has always sounded like a disease), and even though i am not monetarily wealthy, i am far more rich and privileged than these narcissists ever will be.
does their mother dress them? because no self-respecting person would leave the house in anything they wear! that’s it in a nutshell: they have no self-respect. “desperate” is no substitute for healthy self-esteem.
what boggles my mind is that they have an audience. and that audience pays them. how about no one watches that sicko wedding? and don’t buy the magazines covering them either? they may give comic relief in a stressful world, but there are more important causes to donate cash to than lining kardashian pockets.
@Cherry: Yep, it has something to do with the cartilage in the body becoming softer due to the pregnancy hormones and so the nose has a tendency to spread out a bit. My sister has a nose similar to Khloe’s and during all of her pregnancies, her face was at times cartoonish looking. It goes back to normal afterward though, thankfully.
@tiki: Seriously, lighten up. No one is acting like a third-grader. Cherry was merely expressing the reaction she had when seeing these photos. I also was a bit shocked to see the photo and for a moment, wondered if it had been photoshopped. Additionally, these Kardashian girls are hardly owed anything like reverence, as they do absolutely NOTHING worthy of honor and respect with their celebrity or daily lives. So if someone indeed feels like acting a little juvenile at the sight of these privileged little brats prancing their ugly, worthless pug faces around town, who gives a crap? Laughing at all the nose comments. My sister’s nose grew like 3 times its normal size during pregnancy. Then my Dad made the comment that her feet looked like Fred Flinstones and she burst into tears. She was teetering on the edge of sanity by that time. LOL.
Thankfully she had a healthy baby girl.
