Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have been working together on A Place Beyond The Pines, which, I believe, is the same movie where Ryan had to bleach the hell out of his hair. Eva plays Ryan’s girlfriend in the movie. And now he’s boning her. It must be, because according to Lainey’s sources, Ryan took Eva to Disneyland.
I posted an article on August 19 that included photos of Ryan Gosling on set with Eva Mendes, positing that they seemed so hot together, I’d totally be down if they hooked up. Mickey Mouse was listening.
OF COURSE he took her to Disneyland. He takes them ALL to Disneyland. They were there together on Saturday. He had his hand on the small of her back whenever they’d be entering a gate and at one point she had her hand lightly on his ass while they were waiting for a pick up. Am told by several people who saw them that they seemed very comfortable together. And that he would lean over frequently and say sh-t to her, like super closetalking in her ear, in a way that implied there was some intimacy between them. God I hope so. God I hope to see it myself one day. And if it sounds perverted, that’s because it is.
Anyway, am told they left in the same ride.
Will he bring her to TIFF? It’s not really his style. He’ll probably come with his mother and sister, the usual dates. But if he and Eva are a thing right now, I want to see it soon. Because something this hot, and they are super f-cking hot, you worry that it’ll blaze out before long.

Yeah… I don’t like them together. I worry about Ryan and his Year of Random Biscuits. He seems to be going out with everybody this year (Olivia Wilde, Blake Lively, Kat Dennings, maybe even Emma Stone). And it never lasts very long and he always takes them to Disneyland. It’s a turnoff (for me). I mean, I get that he’s young and unattached and he likes girls and he’s going to date some high-profile ladies. But it still feels like he’s “pulling a Butler.” Meaning that Ryan’s becoming kind of a man-whore. And the Disneyland thing is just kind of weird. Take a girl out to dinner. Take me to the movies. Let’s go for a walk or something. Don’t make me wait in line with screaming children.
Plus, I’ve never really “gotten” the Eva Mendes thing. She’s kind of crazy, and she has permanent Drunk-Face.

It’s interesting that he isn’t called out on dating all these famewhores for about 5 minutes(which makes me think it’s all set up, what is he hiding), takes them to Disneyland(that’s weird) and then add to that he is always with his mother. There were stories about his relationship with Rachel Mcadams and how it ended because his mother was getting between them.
I’ll take Michael Fassbender any day over this. Ryan seems like such a boy next to the Fassdong.

Just a follow up to my earlier post, by chance, did anyone catch that bit about Ryan “saving” some poor guy from a beat down in NYC. I’m pretty sure celebitchy didn’t print it, but I remember seeing it on the mail. Yeah, he’s sexy. Someone recorded the whole thing on a camera-phone (not sexy, put the phone down and help the man out).

Maybe he has free Disney pass for life since he was a mouseketeer. It is lame that he takes them to the same place, but has it been confirmed (whether by his PR or photographic evidence) that he’s been dating all of these actresses or is this just the tabs trying to make stuff up to take up page space? The whole Disneyland thing is cute, harmless – plenty of people go with dates and without kids – there’s a lot to do there. I’d actually feel safer if a guy suggested Disney – I think the message to his date is: let’s-just-have-a-good-time-and-see-what-develops. It’s actually refreshing.

I have a friend like this. He is 40 and thinks taking a date to Disneyland is cool. It’s like some retro hipster thing to show a girl that you are above the commercial aspect of it all and into the childhood innocence thing. You are so in touch and sensitive that you can look at life with the joy and simplicity of a child.
Except that when you take date after date to Disneyland, there is a try-hard aspect to it that just makes it seem contrived. Honestly, I think it’s more like Ryan and my friend both have a Peter Pan complex.

Agree 100% with Dario on that he comes off like an immature, lost child. He’s always seemed TOO close to his mother. I’ve heard that the REAL reason he and Rachel McAdams broke up was because his mother meddled and Rachel got sick of it and dumped him. I don’t find mama’s boys even remotely attractive.

About the Disney Land thing — why is it creepy? I am an adult and I go to Disney World all the time without kids. It’s a great way to spend a fun afternoon completely disconnected from the real world. I think it’s nice to have spend time with the product of a very vivid imagination. Honestly I’d have more fun doing that than going to some dude’s lame band gig which are all the dates I seem to have…
Unless of course I am creepy. Which is possible. And wouldn’t surprise me.

I remember around January, someone started a twitter account calling Ryan out after he slept with his friend after picking her up at the Chateau Marmont then ignored her and brushed her off. He said things to the affect of “He’ll be incredibly sweet to you, then take you to his shabby house, bangs you (apparently he goes rawdog ewwww), then is completely cold to you and throws you out. I wish Mendes and other actresses would stop with the open-mouth “sexy” look on the red carpet, but that aside, I dont know why people think Mendes is not a “Disneyland” kinda gal. She comes off as down to earth and friendly/fun in interviews I’ve seen. Gosling does not seem as comfortable in his own skin as Mendes seems in hers. I do think he’s hot but sort of in an insecure, trying way. Ryan Gosling to me is like a Sean Penn type- an industry-raised bad boy- hot because of their bodies of work and angst-y personalities. Not their looks. Neither of them could get by on only or even mainly their looks, unlike the women they get with, who are always completely gorgeous and way better looking than them. Eva Mendes is waaaaaay hotter than Gosling, as was Rachel McAdams.

I don’t really have strong feelings about Eva Mendes one way or the other, although I remember reading some interview she did where she was complaining about always being pigeonholed as “sexy,” which is strange because I think she exclusively relies on her sexiness as her best asset. She’s always showing off her body, posing with her mouth open. And hey, she’s sexy! But don’t complain about it when you actively flaunt it.
As for Gosling- I think he’s cute and I like him in films. But when I’m getting hot and bothered for an actor, I’ll take a man (Fassbender) over a hipster (Gosling).

So called serious actors build themselves up with an impressive body of work and then sell out for vapid young things, pop corn movies and the pay cheques that come with them. As much as I “was” a fan of Ryan and his acting, after this string of doing movies, taking his female costars out to the zoo, aquarium, and to Disneyland, and then being linked to them from PE, I now have lost basically all of my respect for him. I knew something was off, after the Esquire interview, I now know how he really is. VERY disappointing, I guess he was just like everyone else in Hollywood. Ugh.

I’m sorry but you probably picked the two worst images of Eva Mendes that exist in the whole world. She looks like she’s in the middle of saying something in both. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but anyone who doesn’t at least recognize that Eva is a few degrees hotter than the average woman is not seeing straight. IMO, she’s an absolute knockout…especially before she lost a ton of weight. She’s a lot thinner than before, but she beats all those bony, anemic hollywood types ANY day. Her skin is perfect, her hair and eyebrows are perfect. And her mouth is perfect (note to Eva: PLEASE don’t ruin it with fillers!!!). I can’t blame Gossling. And speak of the devil, he is so talented that it’s hard NOT to like him. The disneyland thing? Yeah, kinda weird. But hey, she chose to go with him…along with the other girls the article implies that he took…so it must have sounded fun at the time. I’m with Lainey. If they hook up (publicly) as a couple, the hotness will be off the charts. Here’s to hoping.

So…I took the time to read all the comments, and hells yeah, it’s pretty juicy. If he’s really as evil as he sounds, I’ll be disappointed because he seemed like such a different type from the typical douchebags in hollywood. Disappointed, but not really surprised. And it would seem that this whole thing with Eva Mendes is a PR setup, which is a huge turnoff. He’s too talented to have to do this stuff. *sad*
I have to defend the adults going to disneyland. like some other posters said, it’s not disneyland that’s the problem. It’s the fact that he’s trolling out all these hollywood types for PR there that makes it weird. My husband and I went to disneyland as part of our honeymoon and had an absolute blast. Yeah, it’s a magical children’s place. But that’s kinda the fun of it. If we’re creepy and immature for that, then I’ll stay creepy and immature as long as it’s FUN!

“The Notebook” was a very romantic movie and many people liked the fact that the two lead characters had a real-life romantic relationship…..it was like the movie never ended. Escpecially after that MTV Best Kiss Award. Now every time people see him with another lady or he has casual sex with another chick it reminds us that we do not always live in a world that’s so romantic. But that’s not his job, he’s just an actor(a damn good one)….instead of bashing him we should create or stimulate a little romance in our own lives.

Um…no. I think plenty of people know Ryan isn’t Noah. How many years has that movie been out? I think the problem is the way he portrays himself in his interviews and what not. He comes of as sweet, intelligent, charming, and an actor who actually likes to ACT and doesn’t do it for the sole purpose of getting a paycheck. And Ryan MAY BE all of those things, but then when you see him pulling PR stunts MULTIPLE times with his female costars, it’s disappointing. Then you hear multiple stories or rumors of him being skeevy and you get a completely different impression then the one he has shown us. If your going to be a skeevy douche, f*cking do it out in public. Don’t hide it. My opinion/take on it.
