I like the dress actually, not negligee like at all.

  2. ShanKat says:

    She looks exhausted.

    I freaking love her manicure.

  3. sassy says:

She is perfection to me. I fantasize that she lives a perfect romantic life. I hope she never gets married, keeps house and has kids like the rest of us. I like knowing there are fantasy people in the world.

  4. eileen says:

Love the dress, love the hair & make-up, LOVE her.

  5. MJ says:

Kirk Cameron is probably just killing time before he’s vaporized in the Rapture and everyone else gets “Left Behind.” Once I got sucked into reading the first chapter of that book, thinking it was a science fiction novel.

  6. Sigh. says:

“Kim Kardashian in a hijab. Is this offensive? I can‘t decide.”

Rule of thumb: If it begins, ends, or involves a Kardashian in any way, shape, or form, it is offensive.

  7. Jackson says:

I think the dress looks good on her. Granted, the droopy sash/belt/fabric whatever it is around her waist is odd, but still looks good.

And Kirk Cameron’s birthday….WTF? I laughed, but then I felt bad. Sad indeed.

  8. JEEZ says:

That woman is a bitch ! I met her years ago . She was so beautiful I was blown away . She is totally stuck up and arrogant .

  9. Genevieve says:

i love her but this is just awful

  10. Kaligula says:

    Sorry double post

  11. Kaligula says:

I love that negligee dress on Dita. Always love dresses in that style. Romantic and risqué at once. One of the best looks I’ve seen her in…..

  12. newtsgal says:

    Love her!
She is always pulled together and classy

  13. NeoCleo says:

She always looks wonderful. The dress is beautiful.

  14. smh says:

It does look like a negligee from the waist up. w/e still love her.

  15. Pyewacket says:

Her face always looks bloated and she just tries too hard.

  16. meilamon says:

Kirk Cameron’s birthday had the funniest comment section I have ever read!

  17. original kate says:

“If it begins, ends, or involves a Kardashian in any way, shape, or form, it is offensive.”

    THIS.

as for dita i think she looks amazing.

  18. jc126 says:

Dita von Teese always looks pretty, but I just don’t know why she does that act. It’s so much work, so artificial and what is the point, exactly? She was really pretty before. The whole act seems exhausting.

  19. June says:

I love it. It’s not odd, it’s Dita!

  20. Kim says:

I like it. She is for the first time ever dressing nicely in gowns and not so much of the Betty Page schticht. She is not a looker but does good with what she has-plays herself up well. This is why she does the whole Betty Page thing because it means alot of makeup, hair color etc and she is not a natural beauty but looks ok with all the hair & makeup.

  21. katie says:

love everything. great dress, nails, hair, makeup. the nails are so pin up i love that she does it and does it right.

  22. cora says:

Kirk Cameron’s birthday is not sad!, if he was a hollywood mess I bet he’d be a hot pic, right?, he is a happy man, with a family, a job, he found God and chose that path, his colleagues care enough to have made him a cake, bought him Subways and he was with his family, sounds like a good birthday party to me!

  23. katie says:

i think shes a looker. shes one of the few that hasnt jacked her face to high hell to be beautiful.

  24. beanie says:

Dita is amazing looking. She does the perfect retro look. If I had a choice of being someone for a day it would be her.

  25. Amy says:

I love the dress. So sexy.

  26. Victoria says:

Dita is not as beautiful as I used think she was, or maybe she’s just not aging well IMO.

But I love the fact that she wholly committed to the white porcelain doll/burlesque thing and bitch works it. I loved her “performance” on the 2005 Victoria Secrets fashion showed behind that screen during the Shot You Down segment. She was killing.

  27. Bec says:

I love her — hate the dress.

  28. Jamie says:

I like the dress. I used to think she was attractive a couple years ago, then I realized it was her whole costume that gave her the illusion of being attractive. She is way less than average looking underneath the make-up and the illusion. But I’m glad she found a gig that works for her and I like the way she plays the fame game.

KC’s birthday party looks like your average work birthday lunch. Maybe the other coworkers were all on the side of the table the photog was on for the anticlimactic surprise. *shrug*

  29. JaneWonderfalls says:

You know she looks cute in almost anything, but I never really notice how awkward her upper body is shaped, maybe it’s just a bad pic.

  30. Margo says:

    She is magnificent.

  31. your momma says:

lol @ sassy. fantasy life-really? how so? i guess everyones fantasy is different-so you0’rs is being a glorified stripper? interesting.

  32. Jules says:

The dress is a vintage late 40’s Howard Greer gown. Lovely.

  33. Ang says:

Hey, that’s my dress! I mean from my website, she got it a few months ago. Glad to finally see her in it, she looks stunning!!!

  34. danielle says:

I like Dita’s dress. I liked Charlize’s dress ok, hair and makeup was awful. Pippa…ye gods. Her hair was ok. The dress made her look heavy, which is ridiculous, she’s got a great figure. The pink lipstick was a horrible shade. She still had the heavy kohl liner, and I think she was wearing purple eye shadow. Shudder. Her hair looked nice tho?

  35. brin says:

She looks lovely…like a movie star of the 40’s.

  36. Goofpuff says:

I love that dress! It looks great on her!

  37. B says:

I don’t get her appeal at all.

  38. Cherry Rose says:

Drop it with the “glorified stripper” stuff. Burlesque is quite different from stripping. For one, they put on an actual show, not just going around giving lap dances and putting money in their garter. Two, they never go fully nude, as they wear nipple pasties and underwear. Three, they actually dance, not just gyrating and working a pole. And finally, Dita has never tried to shy away from her past.

I think she’s a beautiful woman honestly. And I can support her doing this “persona” more than I can Gaga’s. After all, she’s been studying this style since she was 15. And I like the dress.

  39. Ramie says:

if I looked like Dita, I would wear the exact same thing! 🙂

  40. whateveryouwantittobe says:

I LOVE that dress, and she looks beautiful but kind of reminds me of Quagmire in that first picture. (Sorry Dita and women, just an observation I couldn’t let go).

  41. smh says:

I think people need to be easy on her. She has never denied the fact that she’s a stripper and calls herself one. But she does it beautifully and artfully and she dedicates herself to the beauty and grace ideals of the era she is interested in. She likes it and does it well so the audience likes it. Where’s the harm? She’s way better than the starlets having nip slips or other “accidents” and pretending to be all innocent at the same time.

  42. Amanda says:

I can see what you are saying. The fabric at the time is definitely to blame for it looking like that.

  43. Ellen Ripley says:

    @Sassy–I completely agree.

  44. Euphorima says:

Her fingers kinda look like chicken toes….hmmmm. Maybe its my imagination. Hands dont look feminine either.
