You knew that Kate Gosselin wasn’t about to go back to being a nurse after the reality show money dried up. She’s made it clear that she wants to continue to make a sweet and easy living on the backs of her eight kids. Kate is getting her kids acting and singing lessons, according to the National Enquirer, and she wants to move to Los Angeles to make sure that they have more opportunities for show business careers. The Enquirer usually has solid sources in the Gosselin camp, and we all know how much Jon likes to blab. I would bet this is true, that Jon is livid about it, and that if Kate wants to do this she will and she’ll get some custody judge to sign off on it. She’s going to have to downsize her lifestyle while she tries to prep her little moneymakers, though, and I doubt that’s possible for her. Here’s more:
Money-hungry mom Kate Gosselin plans to enroll her eight kids in singing and acting classes, and then, after they sharpen their talents, move to Los Angeles, the Enquirer has learned.
“Kate’s ultimate goal is to get her kids into the entertainment business and manage their careers,” an insider told The Enquirer. “She’s looking into acting, singing and dancing classes near the family’s home in Pennsylvania. She wants to get the kids started in commercials by next year…”
Kate believes that she can be the mother of all stage moms, making big bucks by managing the kids’ careers, although she has yet to convince her ex-hubby, said the source.
“Jon’s been very outspoken about wanting to keep the children off TV,” the insider said.
“But Kate has slowly been talking him into it by promising to keep the spotlight off the kids’ personal lives. If she gets her way, the whole family will be hollywood bound by next year!”

I don’t doubt this story at all. Kate will put Courtney Stodden and Lindsay Lohan’s momagers to shame. She’ll mess up her kids more than any momager that came before her. At least she’ll be paying attention to them for a little while as she tries to train them up, though. Mommy needs some new hair extensions and money to pay her married boyfriend to stick around. It’s not like anyone is going to hire her, so she has to pimp out her kids.

So in a few yrs we will be watching court proceedings regarding DUi’s, Hit and runs, Not doing Community Service Obligations, skipping out of the country to “model” for their overseas Johns as unable to get work in the US, and missing first day of morgue duty after ditching hrs of service at a women’s shelter… But the defendant won’t be Lindsay, the Defendants will be the Gosselin kids. Kate will be schlepping & panning those kids out anywhere and for anything to maintain her (and I hate to use this word as she is NOONE special) fame!
Maybe if she successfully sues TLC her poor kids can retire?
I didn’t follow the show but the few clips CB put here, painted a very smart picture of her children. I hope they get more sane examples to look up to and then hopefully they can break free when in their teens.

I hope any money the kids made from that show is in some sort of iron-clad trust fund that Kate can’t get her greedy hands on it. Feel so sorry for those kids.
Fame is an addiction
Have you every seen someone who’s evil poisoned soul seeps through their eyes and face as much as hers? She is truly creepy, one look at her and you can see she is totally void of anything good. No conscience whats so ever. Scary. Poor kids.
She got used to easy money, I doubt she will want to do anything else but show business. Since she knows there is no chance for her to have another show she wants to keep pimping her kids.

One thing we all know is that the public has short attention spans…out of sight, out of mind. In the amount of time it will take to try to teach those kids to be entertainers, we will all be long gone with whatever great new thing will be in front of us. And what are the odds that those poor children actually have God given talent and what are the odds that those poor children are willing to put forth the dedication to become true talents? Lady Gaga was playing the piano at four years of age, for example….like her or not, the woman was born with a talent. And born with it you must be. Unless Kate plans on doing the Kris Jenner thing….and, oh God, I don’t even want to think about that road for those kids.
Had this two-bit witch & husband been putting away a large portion of the TLC money over the years, those kids would have had a future set for them….a future with a college education, a future that taught them morality and character. Kate says she is doing this or that for the kids but we all know that is horse poop. Kate cannot stand the thought of returning to the life that most of us readers live everyday. Kate is “better” than that, “better” than us. Eff that noise, b*tch! You are WORSE than us because dollars to donuts we readers would have done everything possible to ensure our CHILDREN had a future and not that we ourselves had an affluent present. You have one of the few careers that CAN get a job in this economy….health care. Now put on your uniform and get a damn job to support your children like millions of DECENT women do every day. I don’t think it’s a must. And I don’t think anybody is “born to be famous”. You only know what you want to do when you grow up and what you see, what your influences are shape your personality. Nobody is born a star.
Having the desire and talent to entertain doesn’t make you an entertainer. Most train for years and years. You have to cultivate your talent in order to be succesful. If Gaga was good at playing the piano but she wouldn’t have practiced a lot, she would have been less than mediocre. Madonna is one of the greatest performers of all time but she can’t sing, dance…naturally but she trained HARD. But my best example is Barbra Streisand. Seriously, her biographies are the best!
I think most people who are famous have this incredible desire to be loved, worshipped by strangers to feel they belong somewhere, so they say things like “I was born to do this”. It thrives them because they make it their one and only life goal: “Love me or I’ll kill myself trying!”
A lot of people take their talent for granted and they waste it because they feel they are naturally good so why work to be perfectionate it?
She’s crazy, and even crazier if she really does plan to be their manager. No one will want to deal with her, given her reputation. I thought she was “going to work her fingers to the bone to keep the kids in the same house and school” after TLC canceled the show? I guess it’s OK to uproot them across the damn country and away from their father if it keeps Mommy in extensions.
Maybe she’s just doing it for Maddie? Lord knows that kid has a flair for the dramatic.

How do you know Kate has not set money aside for her children? I remember during the mudslinging divorce and custody proceedings, Jon accused her of having 12 accounts, and the general feeling was that she had opened an account per child and was saving that money for their educations. I don’t know if that’s true (never confirmed), but you certainly don’t, either.

I just thought she meant she doesn’t have spending money, not that she was going to take money out of her kids’ accounts. I really, really want to believe that she’ll burn herself to the ground before she’ll do anything to them. She made enough to live comfortably for several years without working, so I do think she (and her ex, who works and pays) could support the kids with a regular job. Plus they’re all school age, child care would be minimal. This is nothing more than a fame addiction.

Wow. How very sick and disturbed this woman is. She cannot accept the fact that she is not a celebrity, and now since the shows been cancelled, no longer a public figure either. It is entirely clear that no one is interested in her, or sad to say her children anymore. Her 15 mins is up, and she must move on. She will have to face it at some point. Oh please. While being an RN certainly doesn’t pay anywhere near what Kate made from the show, it certainly isn’t poor. I believe an RN makes about $85K a year in PA. Certainly enough for Kate to support her kids.
Of course, she’ll have to get a smalller house that’s more affordable, sell the sports cars, stop with the extensions and botox, get rid of the nannies and cook, probably put the kids in a public school instead of private. Just you know, what us normal people have to do.

I don’t know about PA, but I don’t think she can move the kids out of state without Jon’s permission if they have shared custody. Unless she has sole legal custody, then she might be able to.

Off topic, but I got to see Tyne Daly as Mama Rose, in her premiere performance, at the Kennedy Center…three rows CENTER from the stage! I will remember it until the day I die. And as far as Kate, the house is paid for and she is worth millions…she NEVER has to return to nursing, and she never will, and they don’t want her back anyway. You can read countless testimonials from people who were unfortunate enough to work w/ her. She’s stupid, uninformed (never reads a newspaper), can’t write a coherent sentence, cannot spell, and has no talent…BUT, she is ruthless and totally self absorbed and self serving…a total waste of space. Kate states she cannot raise 8 kids on a nurse’s salary. My father and mother raised us on 1 salary. they did not recieve any state benefits. My father ‘s salary was low average at the time. We always had a nice home, be it in the city. We always had good food, nice clothes. Our mother made some of our clothes. Beautiful clothes. We went on vactions. We went camping. We participated in sports, drama and band. I went to college. took a loan. Paid it off. I am now a nurse. Between her and Jon’s salary they can provide for their children. Do we all wish we could have a better lifestyle. Sure. Know how blessed you are.
