I know I’m one of the few people who absolutely LOVE Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone as a couple. I could care less about Emma’s potential with Ryan Gosling, who she’s currently working with again. The Gosdong is a non-starter at this point, what with his Disneyland fetish. For me, it’s all about Andrew Garfield and whether or not he’s anything like that super-sexy dream I had about him (that still makes me blush). I want to think Andrew and Emma are A) super-cute in an almost wholesome way and B) completely dirty in an intense-adult-film way. Anyway, Emma and Andrew have apparently been together since they worked on The Amazing Spiderman. There have been hotel rendezvous and date nights. I hoped they were solid. But this new report in Star Magazine has upset me – Star’s sources claim – in detail – that Andrew was out on a date with Rashida Jones. DAMN IT.
Andrew Garfield seemed thoroughly smitten as he escorted his leading lady, Emma Stone, to a screening of the cult classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas at LA’s El Capitan Theatre on Oct. 23.
Yet just three days after the sweet movie date with Emma, 23, Andrew was caught getting frisky with his Social Newtowrk costar Rashida Jones, 35, at Animal restaurant.
“I was so surprised to see them out together and sitting so close to each other,” an eyewitness tells Star. What’s more, the two only had eyes for each other, with Andrew, 28, hanging on Rashida’s every word and tenderly resting his hand on the small of her back as they left the eatery, says the eyewitness.
“There was some serious flirting going on. Rashida seemed excited to be with him.”
But will Emma still be keen on him once word of his rendezvous with Rashida gets out?

Rashida has previously dated John Krasinski, so she definitely has a type, and I think Andrew Garfield is it. What’s horrible is that if you took Emma Stone out of the equation, I would totally like Rashida and Andrew together. But the idea that he’s stepping out on Emma? Bad move, dream-lover. BAD MOVE. Maybe it’s all BS, though. Here’s hoping.

For some reason I’ve always liked Rashida Jones. I’m not sure how I feel about any of the two pairings…perhaps I don’t care that much. Perhaps I’m just waiting for Garfield to declare his love for my second husband Jesse Eisenberg.

Saw the photo of Andrew visiting Emma on the set of Gangster Squad yesterday. Emma even hugged him.
They’re both ugly, so I don’t care either way. Garfield has a prematurely wrinkled face.
Love both Emma and Rashida, hope this isn’t true. I really doubt it is, Rashida does NOT seem like the type to do that at all. Don’t know about him.

I don’t know what you see in Andrew G. but looks wise he is not attractive at all. Emma Stone is good looking and better paired with Gosling. Andrew is like sucking in his cheeks or something and that big hair also remind me of some animal. ( I don’t want to be rude)
If this is true, while it would make him an asshat of the first degree, you couldn’t deny his excellent taste in women. But I do prefer him with Emma…
Garfield also dated several times with Jason Eisenberg and they were very close (he’s his best friend)

… and then there’s always the chance that his relationship with Emma is not that serious yet and they’re still seeing other people, in which case he did nothing wrong. This is 2011, it’s completely ok to date several people before you decide who you want to settle down with (if you even want to).
i thin he’s really hot, but they arent great photos of him. I hope this isnt true because I really like Andrew and Emma together, even if they did go to dinner they might just be friends.
Maybe (and I kinda hope so) he and Emma already broke up and now he’s moving on.
You know, I kinda wish he would come up with a casual: “Yeah, we dated and then it was off, and then I met Rashida…” in an interview or something.

I think Emma can do a lot better than him. He seems sketchy to me, and not even attractive at all.
Just to break the consensus, I think Rashida is more attractive than Emma. That being said, I don’t think this is true.
Confession number two: I actually think Emma is pretty basic. I feel as though people are like “she’s a breath of fresh air” but i’m like…is all you have to do as a young female in Hollywood to be a breath of fresh air (a) not take of your shirt/go commando (b) not be drunk or high all the time and (c) not be completely and utterly vapid? Oh, and of course, be pretty and thin? I have nothing against her, but give me a break! She’s not all that.
I think the AG-ES “relationship” is just a studio put-on for publicity for the movie anyway, never bought that at all. And those pics of them hugging when he visited her on-set the other day? He could not look less interested. Don’t think that “relationship” is real.
I just don’t get what people see in Rashida. She’s ok pretty, but not that great of a comedian or anything. I guess it’s her lucky sperm club membership that helps, i.e. her father, Quincy Jones.

I’m going with he’s good friend’s with Rashida. My best guy friend (we’ve been friends for about 15 years-since elementary school) and I go out a lot, and he’s very much a gentleman, he’ll escort me anywhere my bf won’t go and often he acts protective and has his hand on the small of my back, but i’m not cheating with him. WE honestly have a very close relationship (and yes he got friend zoned and hard when I started dating my current bf 7 years ago) Part of it may be that, but part of it is we’re super comfortable with each other and gossip be damned. WE know what we’re about as do the people close to us.
I’m going with the version of the Andrew/Rashida date night.

STAR is almost 100%bs. That said, I adore Andrew Garfield but he always seemed a little off. He took his girlfriend to the Oscars and everything, instead of his parents which signifies a pretty serious relationship. Then 2 months later he’s dating Emma? Timeline seems suspicious.
He looks like a young Anthony Perkins (Norman Bates in Psycho). That’s not a compliment, obviously.
