Jennifer Garner was all over the place this weekend. She pap’d herself and her daughters again, of course, like always, but she also did two different red carpets. On Saturday night, it was an event called “Reel Stories, Real Lives” – Ben Affleck was not in attendance, but Russell Brand was, and he and Garner were friendly on the red carpet. The Saturday night photos are the ones where Garner is wearing a black lace dress and tuxedo jacket. Then last night she did the AFI Fest premiere of her new film, Butter. Those are the pics where she’s wearing a wrinkled, one-shoulder maternity cocktail dress by Lanvin in what seems like a very dark navy blue.
Besides the wrinkles – which she gets a pass for because she’s super-preggo – I really like the Lanvin. It’s a different choice for Garner, and I applaud her for trying something that she normally wouldn’t. I like the “sari” effect in a cocktail dress – it reminds me, in design, of that mint green Valentino sari that Jennifer Lopez wore to the Oscars… when J.Lo was with Ben. Ben wasn’t at the AFI Fest premiere either.
Should I say something about Jennifer’s bump? Much like Jessica Simpson’s it looks way more natural and real than Beyonce’s. I think Jennifer is carrying very well with this pregnancy – she seems a lot smaller than she did when she was pregnant with Seraphina. I much prefer the Lanvin dress to the black lace one too – the lace one looks like she’s a knocked-up widow.
Here’s a question: does pregnancy make your lips bigger? Because her lips look HUGE.

This isn’t the first time she shows up with wrinkles on a red carpet… but the one-shoulder dress is much nicer than the widow outfit.
Lips shouldn’t get bigger during pregnancy! At least mine didn’t. hers look un-naturally big.

The wrinkles look to be from a cars seat belt.
And her lips are a little huge from injections. If you go back and look at early photo’s of her, you will notice she had tiny thin lips. And lots of gums and tiny teeth.
I suspect the lips are to help her from being all gums when she smiles.

Garner gets lip injections. Her top lip is naturally very thin. I notice that in the Lanvin dress you can not tell that she is pregnant and her face not look fuller but in the bottom pic her face and bump looks bigger. I don’t understand why it is hard for people to understand that everyone carries differently.

Check in with Just Jared website where it is all Jennifer, all the time. She is papped daily, with kids without kids, picking her nose, having lunch etc. As usual, she never wears anything cute or interesting, and works her dimples for all their worth.

I know pregnancy is capable of making your features bigger. My friend Bre looked like she was going to have her baby out of her nose! It got HUGE!

She gets NO pass from me because she’s super-preggo this is not the FIRST or SECOND she worn a wrinkled dress on the red carpet I think this is like her fourth time.
Black lace looks ok on her but nothing special.
I don’t remember Angelina Jolie’s lips being bigger. I’ve seen old pic of JG and her lips mostly her top lip was never this as big as it is in now with or without being preggo.

Why do pregnant women try and wear regular clothing rather than wearing maternity clothing that fits properly? For Jennifer it is not a matter of finances like it might be with some people. There is no excuse for her to look this bad.

Obviously her pics get a mega load of hits or those sites wouldn’t post them all the time. The numbers determine it. so unlike you, there are MANY that want the pics, and you are entitled not to look at them. So quit your bitchin and just pass them by and only look at the ones you want and the Jen fans will look at those. Pretty simple! No talkin CAN Dispute that!

Might be pregnant lips? I don’t remember my friends lips expanding when they were pregs.
It’s also a little bit of the makeup. Her lipstick is all over her lip line. It’s not highlighted or blended to make it look good.

I am pretty meh on both outfits. Generally, I don’t think Jen can pull off high fashion. But I do think that her pregnancy body looks good – especially for baby #3.

Regarding all the lip scrutiny: Clearly, most of you haven’t seen her during the Felicity days or even Alias. She’s always had big lips and toothy, gummy, dimply grin.

1st dress is way too short, otherwise, the color/cut looks good on her. The 2nd dress isn’t bad but the jacket doesn’t “go”.
Garner is very pretty without looking too try-hard which, I guess, is because she doesn’t.

Her face and lips are as pumped up as any hollywood actress who pays regular visits to a beverly hills cosmetic doctor, they all get fillers and botox and whatever else it is that erases lines. She’s pushing 40 she’s had work done. Her dress is a wrinkled too short mess and the hair is limp and blah. 2/10.

Sure the dress is a bit wrinkled, but I think she looks gorgeous there! The whole thing–makeup, hair, dress!
Also, some women experience really, really hardcore vasodilation as one of the side-effects of pregnancy. It causes a lot of your tissues to swell up. Nose, lips, around the eyes… It could just be that.

Dress with the jacket looks very flattering. Wrinkled, asymetrical, too short sack does not. I don’t care if she’s pregnant; you don’t walk a red carpet with a dress that looks like you rolled it up into purse and pulled it out when you got there.

She’s so pretty and looks wonderful pregnant. Your lips can be bigger when you’re pregnant and so can your nose. I got pregnant nose with my oldest. I swear it grew to two times it’s normal size lol. It went back down to normal after he was born though. Hormones do weird things to your body.

Forget her lips – how could any pregnant woman even cope with wearing heels that high? My centre of gravity would be right off in those things, even if I didn’t have a bump. She’s a stunning lady. The same age as me, and I’ kinda jealous at how good nearly 40 looks on her.
