Tom Cruise has a father-daughter day at Disneyland with Suri

These are some new photos of Tom Cruise and little Suri at Disneyland yesterday. I think these are sweet photos – as much as we bitch and moan about Tom Cruise and his lifts of delusion and his Xenu-centric lifestyle, he’s a pretty-hands-on dad, and he adores Suri. I think it’s adorable to see a father spending the day with his young daughter doing activities that he knows SHE will enjoy. Although… Suri’s got a look on her face like, “I was told there would be more princesses!”

Like Alice herself, Suri Cruise spent the day in wonderland on Wednesday, as her dad Tom Cruise treated her to an outing at Disneyland – including a spin in the Mad Tea Party.

Sporting a purple dress and a pink top with white polka dots, Suri, who’ll be 6 in April, found time to get pink-and-purple face paint in a swirling design around her eyes.

There was no sign of mom Katie Holmes, but Tom, 49, looked relaxed and happy, in jeans and a blue-and-white striped T-shirt, as he enjoyed the father-daughter bonding time at the Anaheim, Calif., resort.

[From People]

See? Nice. Nothing scandalous. Tom just had a day off and decided to spend it with his daughter, who… I guess she’s being home-schooled at this point? There were rumors of Suri’s enrollment in a Scientology school last year, but Katie seems to have taken Suri out of the school for NY Fashion Week, and then Suri just never returned. Tom is still riding high after Mission: Impossible 4 did so well at the box office – Cruise is back, bitches! So expect more photos of Tom showing off his good-dad cred!

UPDATE: Just adding another photo of Tom & Suri in the teacup!

Did they have to close Disneyland for him?
How many bodyguards did he have with him?
Hands On parenting the La La Land version: nannies and bodyguards.

  2. ladybert62 says:

What does she have all over her face?

    • Erinn says:

They have a lot of facepaint places at Disney… I assume she stopped at one

    • Holly Hobby says:

Face paint. I actually abhor this new kiddie fad. It looks like a birthmark on the face from afar.

Suri certainly doesn’t seem to find any joy in Disneyland!

  3. Marcus says:

This poor child will spend someday all his money for therapy.

    • Holly Hobby says:

That’s if Head Sci Midget David Miscavige doesn’t spend all of Tommy’s money first! But yes she will have lots of stories for the tell all.

  4. maggie grace says:

He squicks me the hell out.

  5. ella says:

Nice! I love going to Disneyland but at the end of the day ugh super tired!

  6. mln76 says:

I just can’t wait to see what Suri’s Burn Book will have to say about this.

    • Rumorhasit says:

“I got a daddy daughter date to Disneyland, and Isabella had to stay home, hehehe…”
Seriously, what happened to the oldest daughter, was she just not invited.?

    • Keis says:

I hit reply thinking it was a like button.

  7. Asli says:

I just cannot like this guy no matter what he does. Everything always seems so staged. And that kid… Nuff’ said.

  8. lisa says:

Tom is should have a bodyguard. What is wrong with that. There are some seriously crazy people out there. How many celebs have been stalked and killed. not to mention keep strangers away from your child. and having a Nanny is not a celebrity thing. Its called a baby sitter on call. nothing wrong with that either.

    hope they had fun.

  9. Quinn says:

He seems harmless to me, and does seem like a good dad. Eccentric for sure, but puts off the nice-guy vibe better than most Hollyweirders…he is always kind and appreciative to his fans. (Behind closed doors…only Nic and Kate realllyyyyy know…)

    • Kara Ann says:

I said something like you just did on a celebitchy post once and I was corrected. I was told that he isn’t harmless because he supports and recruits for $cientology which is responsible for the break-up of families, the brain-washing of all “recruits”, and the horrible pressure these people are put under in order to bring in the $$$$. I just thought that I would pass that along becuase, for me, it actually resonated. He isn’t harmless…I don’t think that he is intentionally harmful but that doesn’t really change the outcome.
Yes, he is a good dad…again, except for the whole “xenu” thing.

  10. Sarah says:

Oh man, she’s not wearing socks. A day at Disneyland would kill her feet without socks!

  11. Astrid says:

Suri doesn’t look happy and Tom seems to be moving her along. Could be the end of a long day though…

  12. brin says:

    She can actually walk!

  13. Azurea says:

This kid seems to have no consistency in her day-to-day life at all. Isn’t it the LAW that children attend school? Even if she is supposedly home-schooled, when is this taking place? At night? Just more fuel for this kid’s entitlement fire that is one day gonna RAGE out of CONTROL!

  14. potatopeel says:

Saw his cousin on a show the other day – this child does resemble him bunches. Possible genetic father?

  15. Jada says:

Is it wrong that I’m jealous of this kid? She’ll be able to do whatever she pleases until the day she dies and she won’t have to pay for any of it.

  16. njnick says:

Tom really does love those boots – i have never seen a picture of him without wearing them.

  17. HappyJoyJoy says:

He can’t ride Space Mountain. Must be over 54 inches tall. hahahaha

  18. the original bellaluna says:

I think it’s sweet. (For all my negativity about him, this is very sweet.)

  19. Bite me says:

    Sweet

  20. Amanda G says:

Man…did he call the paps for this or what? Poor kid! If he didn’t call the paps then he should have worn a hat.

  21. Rildz32 says:

Daddy and daughters time, Just lovely. Also Tom’s other two kids seem pretty well rounded so why wouldn’t Suri be?

  22. Roma says:

I just love the look on the lady’s face in the last picture. I think I like pap photos just because you get random people being all “whaaaaat Tom Cruise??” in the background.

  23. Anna says:

I don’t know. Suri looks sad to me. Does she ever get to play with other kids her age?

  24. Daisy424 says:

Does this child own a pair of socks?

  25. Madison says:

Suri seems shy, she’s one celebrity kid who has never been comfortable with all the paparazzi attention. I’m sure a trip to disneyland would have nicer without the paparazzi.

  26. TheOriginalVictoria says:

If wasn’t for that Scienextorionolgy crap, you’d best believe I’d still tap that. Sadly the question, is would he want to tap me? Why are the cuties lovers of men? Le Sigh. Jealous.

  27. aprayerforthewildatheart says:

I know this has been said a million times already, so I’ll be redundant. Every time I see this guy I picture an aging painting in an attic somewhere.

On another note, I hope Suri does get to spend time with other kids her age, even Scientology kids.

  28. LeeLoo says:

I know this is a bit off subject but I want the name and number of the plastic surgeon who did Tom’s facelift. I will totally be wanting to render his services when I hit 50. He looks GOOD. He’s still a psychotic $cientologist but he looks just like he did in Days of Thunder. I commend the plastic surgery, not that I feel he looked bad before. I wish I could like Tom but all of his Xenu talk is a major turn off.

I really hope $cientology gets busted before for what it is. A slave camp cult. Nothing about this so-called “Church” is okay and it is going to mess up Suri so bad. She looks so sad in these photos but I hope it is just her being tired.

  29. Mosty says:

I love Tom and M:I:4 was soo good!
Also is that Diana Aagron in the last pic?

  30. Erinn says:

Haha, I immediately go to thinking “they’re doing the teacups wrong”. My dad had them spinning so fast when my family went that we had to look at the wheel or we’d puke from seeing everything spinning so fast around us.

    • Kara Ann says:

Yes, exactly! Spin, spin, spin until the little ones beg for mercy….except in my case, my little niece was a.o.k. and the “teacup attendant” told me to take my time getting out of those teacups. So embarrassing! I’m sure he didn’t want to have to clean up my sick! Anyway, I hope your dad had better luck but I will never try the “spin until they cry out for mercy” again. BTW, my niece was a perfectly fine and amused five year old!

  31. poopie says:

suri’s almost as tall as tiny tom now ! wowow !! sick puppies both
