Ever since Kate Bosworth and Alex Skarsgard split up last year, Alex has maintained a much, much lower profile. I have no idea who or what he’s been doing. I don’t imagine he spends too many nights alone (he’s got that Viking Sex God thing going on, after all), but it doesn’t seem like Alex jumped into anything serious, or that he was even boning the same girl two nights in a row (“serious”). But that might be changing… The Enquirer reports that Alex might be quietly loved up with CHARLIZE!! Ol’ Rose-Boobs Theron. Chelsea Handler’s latest BFF. Charlize Theron, the Oscar winner who was boning Ryan Reynolds for a while last summer, just before Blake Lively got to him. THAT Charlize.
Charlize Theron has fallen for a vampire! Theron, 36, is enjoying a secret romance with Alexander Skarsgard, 35. Although Skarsgard has put the bite on Charlize, the two are meeting in unlikely places to give their relationship a chance to blossom away from the public eye, say sources.
Observors recently spotted the pair snuggling at the Gym Sportsbar, a gay nightspot in West Hollywood.
“They ordered two beers and went to sit on the patio,” an eyewitness told The Enquirer. “I realized it was Charlize and her date was Alexander Skarsgard. It was clear they were a couple, holding hands and staring into each other’s eyes.
“People said hello, and they were really nice. After about 45 minutes, they left with their arms around each other and drove off in the same care.”
Charlize is “crazy for Alexander, and he’s nuts about her,” said a close source. “They’ve both been through some bad breakups and want to keep the romance to themselves for the time being. They figured no one would notice them at a gay bar.”
Both Charlize and Alexander “have been scarred by love affairs gone wrong,” said the close source. “Now, with each other, they will perhaps find love and happiness they both deserve.”

While this is hot (anything involving Alex is hot, though), I’m also a little bit creeped out. You know why? They’re too much alike. They even look alike. They’re both crazy tall and all limbs, both with blonde hair and blue eyes, both in their mid-30s. It’s brother-sister, right? There’s something odd about the pairing. Still, on paper, it seems like a good match. They’re close in age, she’s got more stature but he’s a rising star with a lot of heat around him. Now, nobody’s marriage got ‘wrecked but Alex was rumored to be getting “friendly” with Lizzie Olsen at the Spirit Awards and at the post-Oscars Vanity Fair party. It’s not like Alex and Lizzie were coupled up officially though – maybe it was just a flirtation. Or maybe this Charlize thing is BS. Or maybe he’s boning both of them.
Also, I don’t know what to think about the gay bar stuff. That kind of set off my radar/gaydar. Alex has had gay rumors for a while, so it’s possible that Charlize has just found her latest gay BFF. Stacie (who scans the tabs here) suggested that he name them “CharSkar”. I kind of like Charex, though.

Seriously, that is what I was thinking. If they didn’t want to be recognized, they would need to go some place they truly aren’t known, like an old person restaurant, where people don’t twitter or use Facebook. I don’t believe he is gay. Ted C shot that down a few years ago. I have been to a gay bar with my husband. No big deal. We happened to be friends with some of the people who go there and my hubs is secure in his sexuality so its all fun. Our gay friends are always coming to straight places I figure it’s only fair.

Ted C. has been pushing the whole gay/Nelly Fang story for a long time, but even he’s been all over the map with his spin. First he had NF trolling for tricks in the bushes at Griffith Park, then he was banging chicks by the trailer-load. The only thing Ted’s been consistent with is trying to point the rumor in Alex’s direction. I still believe Alex has been pretty up front about his sexuality. He was asked by gay mags in Sweden long before he became a hit over here. His response was “I’m pretty sure I only like girls”. If he were gay or bi, it would have been common knowledge over there. How does this MSLisaChang become a credible person. She wasn’t even there. @Mirella, I think he’s had 2 actual pap shots in four months (not counting official type events like GG and Oscar parties). If he was out famewhoring we’d be getting a lot more pap shots. I actually like this pairing. First, they’re the same age. Second, it’s seems relatively “equal” in a talent, if not yet recognition sort of way. I’m confused by the “little too Aryan” comments about Charlize, but tiny little blonde/blue eyed Kate Bosworth didn’t seem to suffer the same criticism. He clearly likes blonde women (hardly surprising from a Swedish man), and Charlize has legs for weeks. I think they’re hot together.

I too am perplexed over the disappointment that Alex may have hooked up with another blonde. Maybe fans would be happier if Charlize dyed her hair?
With Kate I think there were so many other criticisms of her that her being blonde was at the bottom of the list.

I think it has to do with her tallness. I mean you imagine two incredibly tall and good looking blondes walking down the street together and “the master race” pops into my head, lol.

He’s 6 foot 4 1/2 and she’s what 5 foot 10? So I’d think some fans would be happy that this would be easier for him physically: less neck strain, etc.

@Asli, I’m joking. Some the forums, including here, have had posters complaining that he seems to favor tall blondes (ignoring the fact that KB is 5 foot 3) so I’m jokingly pointing out the the taller the women the less neck strain for both. And yes, since you’re five foot 11 you should be in the running!
Also, my BF in HS was 6 foot 7, and I’m 5 foot 6, so just standing and talking in the hallsways between classes could lead to some neck strain.

Charlize’s ex boyfriends are mostly the tall, dark and handsome type (i.e. Craig Bierko, Stephan Jenkins, Stuart Townsend). Alex is so NOT her type. Hmm, seems like girlfriend has a change in taste for her man.

For some reason I believe he is gay, I just get that vibe from him, and no I haven’t met the guy, just going by media footage, just like everyone does when they form an opinion about a celeb. I think if they are “dating” its more of a fling since she just adopted a little boy.
