This is just an FYI: this is what Lil’ Kim looks like these days. We haven’t documented Lil’ Kim’s transformation into a cutlet-cheeked cat over the past several years, but I guess it’s worth noting that Kim’s face used to be somewhat normal, back in the day. I think her plastic surgery makeover really began in earnest after she got out of jail… maybe five years ago or so? Anyway, she’s 37 years old and this is what she looks like now. These photos are from Lil’ Kim’s performance at this weekend’s LA Pride Festival – she got a really great reception there, which is nice.
She is known for her dangerous curves, which she often displays in risque attire. And rapper Lil’ Kim once again flaunted her voluptuous figure when she appeared on stage in West Hollywood for the LA Pride Festival tonight.
Wearing an array of eye-popping skimpy outfits, the diminutive singer paraded her ample curves in front of a frenzied audience, shaking her behind and dancing on death-defyingly high heels.
For her first outfit, the Lady Marmalade rapper wore a tight-fitting sequined and beaded gold leotard. With a plunging neck and high-cut bottom half, the outfit made no secret of the 37-year-old’s famous curvy thighs and behind. She completed the outfit with death-defyingly high silver and black heels. For her second costume, the feisty 37-year-old strutted her stuff in black micro shorts, a sparkly silver and black hoodie, shades and another pair of killer heels.
She was accompanied by a handful of dancers dressed ninja-style, wearing black handkerchief scarves covering their faces and holding black fans.
The performance took place in West Hollywood, also known as ‘Boystown’ to locals, as the sun was starting to set around six o’clock last night.
Kim, real name Kimberly Denise Jones, broke into the music business in 1994, as part of the group Junior M.A.F.I.A., which was a protegé of the late American rapper Notorious B.I.G. Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s first and only album was titled Conspiracy, spawned three hit singles, which helped Kim launch her solo career. Over the years, the female rapper from Brooklyn had a string of hits and sold millions of records. The LA Pride Festival continues over the entire weekend.
I don’t really know how to feel about Lil’ Kim and her new face and her faltering career. I remember when Kim used to a much bigger star, and she brought an interesting energy to the music industry – she was interesting, you know? She was sexy and unconventional and it feels more and more like “unconventional” isn’t acceptable in the hip-hop world. Unless you count Nicki Minaj, who probably owes Lil’ Kim a great debt. I also think Nicki and Kim might have the same surgeon.

Agreed. I feel empathy for her trying to maintain her character role in a music world full of younger ones like Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga (the only two I can think of off the top of my head). Those are unfortunate costume choices. Wash your face, wear something a bit more flattering, get to a hair stylist, and embrace your age. You have a lot left to give so own it.

She has had a LOT of body and face work done.
Hips & ass are definitely due to fat transfer. Kim never had either or before. She’s short waisted and she was never curvy. Her boobs are fake, her face is fake & I suspect she is using Michael Jackson’s old dermatologist b/c that isn’t her natural complexion either.
It’s a shame her talent is not reflected on the outside b/c even though I was never a fan of her attitude, she was a talented chick.
I guess Faith Evans gets the last laugh….

Lukie, your comment made me LOL! yes, Faith Evans is having the best last laugh ever. Lil Kim tried to “call out” Faith after Biggie’s murder but Faith kept quiet while she counted all the money and royalties that came to her and son. (she did share with Biggie’s mother) No one in Kim’s camp would ever call her out on her looks she employs them, they would not dare.

@Jazzmin, faith can laugh all she wants but at the end of the day Biggie was with Kim before he was with faith and even though he married faith she knew he was with Kim when she got with Biggie so who’s the other woman really???
Also didn’t she cheat on Biggie with 2Pac too? The only one of them that was with one person was Kim and Kim also gave Biggie’s children 10% of HER publishing rights after he died which was generous.

I wonder if body dysmorphic disorder is much more common among celebrities than we think. There just seem to be so many people (not just women anymore–look at Burt Reynolds and Kenny Loggins) are jacking up their faces and bodies beyond recognition. The problem is in the head not in the mirror, she has a distorted vision of herself, just like anorexic girls, they only see they’re not skinny enough even when you can easily count all the bones in their bodies. I honestly don’t know what is wrong with Kim, I think she’s a legend in Hip-Hop but she didn’t need THAT much surgery (or any at all tbh).
But having said that I don’t think this is actually how she looks, A lot of her bad shots face wise are down to really bad make-up… she has way too light foundation on and she’s always having dodgy contouring and cheap wigs.
I’ve seen a load of times recently when she’s made a good effort and somebody decent has done her make-up where she looks tweaked but still cute.

Like 10-12 years ago, I passed her on the street. It was around the time she’d had a LITTLE plastic surgery, like her first boob and nose job, but it looked good on her. She was super tiny, like 4’10 and 95 lbs. Anyway, if she’d just stopped there, she would’ve been fine. I don’t think she was bleaching her skin then either…eh.

Kim had already had A TON of plastic surgery in the “before” pics at the bottom. The difference is that she had not started lightening her skin at that point. The problem is maintenance. Once you have so much surgery, you have to keep going in every few years to get “touched up”. Over time you end up as Joan Rivers, Lil Kim, Michael Jackson, etc…
Kim is a monstrosity. I wonder how much she really looks in the mirror anymore.

Skin-lightening products work by stopping the production of the pigment melanin in the skin, so they have to be used consistently. I don’t know what she’s using, but many of them contain harmful ingredients. I was never a fan, but this is pathetic.

Kim had no boobs, a button nose and a small booty. It was refreshing cuz she looked like a Brooklyn chic an had the feisty attitude to match. Well, it is my understanding that Kim started getting plastic surgery in efforts to get Biggie to like her more. She was in love with him, but he chose Faith Evans, so she started to try to change her face to resemblance her type more (a smaller nose, light-skinned, etc.). And yes, of course it is sad, especially because Kim has so much effing talent, much more than Nicki Minaj. She just basically stole her whole image and shtick and acts like she never knew who Kim was.
