I can’t tell you how happy I am to see these photos of Hugh Jackman working some huge muscles on the beach. I practically squeed all over myself. This is one beautiful man with the personality to more than back it up. Hugh of course is playing the lead, Jean Valjean, in the upcoming musical remake of Les Mis. They gave him a terrible, choppy haircut which he’s growing out. The last time we saw him on the red carpet his hair looked a little awkward. Whatever is going on with his hair is insignificant when you see how beautiful this man looks without a shirt. If he had to lose weight for Les Mis (and it looked like he did) it’s clear that he’s beefed up very nicely since. This man is the. sex. Compare how he looks here to these photos when he was a little leaner last year. He’s hotter now! Anyway the Daily Mail has a little blurb about what Hugh was doing on the beach, he’s in Barcelona with his kids, and my mind is kind of muddled from staring at him so I’ll let them take over.
He’s just finished playing the role of an escaped French convict in the film version of Les Misérables.
But if yesterday’s photos of Hugh Jackman in Barcelona are anything to go by, he is back on his action hero diet.
The hunky Wolverine actor was seen playing with his children on a Barcelona beach this week, running and frolicking in the water like a true action hero.
The Australian A-lister, who today announced he will host the Tropfest short film festival in New York this weekend, looked in top form on the sands.
Wearing only black board shorts, the 43-year-old bared his ripped torso and famously muscled arms.
The doting dad was clearly enjoying the downtime with his two children, 12-year-old Oscar and daughter Eva, six.
He has said on many occasions that one of his favorite things in the world is spending time with them.

The Mail mentioned that filming for Les Mis was finished earlier this month and that he’s about to shoot The Wolverine, the next in the X-Men series. It comes out next summer. Obviously he’s in top shape for it, and I’m sure that involves an insane diet and workout schedule. Whatever he’s doing, it’s working for me. I mean him! Oh Hugh.
I feel like I just went on a little holiday there. Thank you, paparazzi. Thank you.

Sorry ladies, but I’ve been living one of those “lovers through eternity” scenarios with Hugh for a long time. We are soul mates brought together by destiny and have been loving each other since the dark ages, through the renaissance, during the sexual revolution, into modern day… and well into the future.

I love this guy. He has such a big heart and great personality. He does it all. He did like a one man show. David Letterman said he went thinking the premise sounded cheesy, kind of a song and dance man show. He said he amazing, that the quirky show worked because of him. I love how Hugh could care less about the gay rumors, unlike Tom, and does anything he wants to creatively even if it adds fuel to those rumors. He’s very secure in who he is it seems. I do believe he loves his family and they bring him happiness.

I love how Jackman always goes to the beach around this time of year, and how he is always followed. That being said, he looks like such a family man and so wholesome I almost feel bad looking at these photos.
