Did I call it or what? I’ve been saying for a month now: “I wonder when Mark Wahlberg’s wife is going to get pregnant again?” Turns out, she was pregnant this whole time. Star Magazine reports this week that Rhea Durham is pregnant yet again… with the couple’s FIFTH child. Allegedly, she’s still in her first trimester.
It appears five children may be the charm for Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham! A source tells Star Rhea is pregnant with another child.
“She just found out in May and is thrilled,” says the insider. The 34-year-old former model and her hubby, 41, started dating in 2001 and got married in 2009. The happy couple already have a full house with Ella, 8, Michael, 6, Brendan, 3, and Grace, 2, but they’re making room for more.
“She’s going into her third month,” adds the source. Mark, who was the youngest of nine children, knows a thing or two about being a part of a big family.

As I said, I think this is perfectly possible because… you know, Rhea seems like she’s constantly pregnant. I can’t believe she’s only 34 years old and could be pregnant with her fifth biological child! Some women just have an easy time with it, and it seems like Mark is really happy with a big family, so good for them. Maybe with the fifth child, Rhea will finally get that platinum AmEx she’s had her eye on. I guess I should mention that Gossip Cop has a denial – but it’s a denial from an unnamed source close to the couple. Which, to me, carries just as much weight as Star’s report. My verdict: Rhea is totally knocked up again.

um no their not fairly close together Ella is 9 Michael is 6 Brendan is 4 & Margaret is 2 if she is indeed pregnant with their 5th congratulations this one would be due around Margaret’s 3rd birthday. actress Jeanne Crain for example had 7 children before age 40 so Rhea having 5 before 35 isn’t so odd.

5 kids in 10yrs IS pretty close together. My mum had 6 kids by the time she was 40 (8 pregnancies) and there’s still a 20yr span. I’m the youngest of 6 and there’s good and bad parts to being in a big family (but mostly good)-and unlike Marky Mark we were poor!

People used to ooh and aw over Mel Gibson and his big Catholic family too like he was some great dad. I don’t think Mark will become crazy like Mel down the road,., but I don’t buy he’s this great warm and fuzzy family man either.

They can have as many children as they want; it’s not like they don’t have more than enough to provide for them. I doubt she has to do anything other than what she has been doing for the past several years in order for him to stay. If he didn’t want to be with her, he just wouldn’t be with her. Oh, and having children isn’t something that most people do because they don’t have a hobby. They do it because they love children and they love family – there isn’t anything wrong with that. If you’re worried about how many children there are in the world, or whatever that last sentence was supposed to mean, then don’t have children yourself.

@Trek Girl, yes, yes, yes! I was scanning thru comments and am shocked that people actually have The audacity to comment about how many kids people choose, or choose not to have. It is none of anyone’s business! They obviously love kids and like you said, can afford them. They aren’t relying on assistance and popping kids out for more welfare, which I know people do! (I can’t stand him after his 9/11 comment but if they love each other and The kids are happy, more power to them!) Congrats!
