Throughout the day today, CB, Bedhead and I have been emailing each other theories as to what Rob Pattinson was going to do about his girlfriend’s wandering biscuit. My theory is that Rob’s team – the publicist, the manager, whoever answers directly to him – is encouraging him to leave, to dump Kristen Stewart and to publicly distance himself from her. Bedhead theorizes that Summit (the home of Twilight) will encourage him to stick with Kristen, at least until the end of the year so that they can promote the last film of the lucrative franchise. CB just hopes that Rob will dump Kristen, but doesn’t think he will.
But it’s looking like he might!! People Magazine reports that Rob has moved out of the LA home that he shared/shares with Kristen. Incidentally, this is the same home that Kristen returned to after her romantic tryst with Rupert Sanders.

Following Kristen Stewart’s public apology for having a fling with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, the 26-year-old actor has left the Los Angeles home he shared with Stewart, PEOPLE has confirmed.
“I’m not sure they’ll be able to recover from this,” a source says of the couple of three years, who met making the Twilight trilogy.
In seclusion and not in contact with Stewart, 22, the British star “is heartbroken and angry,” says the source.

A lot has been written about Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders in the past couple of days, and Gossip Cop has been talking to sources and thoroughly investigating non-stop.
One giant misconception needs to be corrected right away. As Stewart stated in her apology, she had a “momentary indiscretion.”
She passionately kissed Sanders, “a mistake” for which a source close to her tells Gossip Cop she truly “feels awful.”
But that’s essentially the extent of it. Reports of Stewart and Sanders having a long, full-on “affair” or implying that it was in any way, shape or form sexual are NOT TRUE.

A lot of rumors will continue to come out over the next few days – and even more photos of them kissing last week – but it’s important to stick to the facts about what actually happened between Stewart and Sanders.

People will be talking and that is all they care about. This will not hurt either of their careers. The timing of these photos coming out and the apology are suspect. Were the pics taken during the making of the move? It has been quite a while. Why are they just coming out now?

Suppose there were some photos much, much more incriminating and deals were cut between some of the players and magazines to have those pics disappear? US Weekly still gets it’s big story, maybe they all have to agree in advance to a no lawsuit clause, throw in a guaranty of some “exclusives” at a later date, and this could be what you were left with. There’s just too much here that feels oddly scripted for me to be a complete believer.

It does not add up at all….. based on some reports (including from this site, i think, or Lainey) Kristen told Robert about the incident from the moment the Magazine contacted her people and told them they were going to release the photos…..hence they had some huge fight backstage teen choice awards.

Yes, I am enjoying reading about all the foolish twihards. It is scary to think that there are people in this world who are that stupid. I mean I love good gossip but I am not psycotic about it. I will say though one of the twihards did point out that the pic of KStew having dinner with the sleaveball is misleading because Charlize is supposedly in between both of them and if you look closely I think that is true and in that case KStew is looking at Charlize and not at the sleave master. Just because you cheat one time it dosen’t mean your going to do it again. Those are usually the people are upfront about it to their partner about stepping out on thier partners and not waiting to they get caught before being upfront.

She’s not looking at the camera, she’s looking in the direction of the camera. These paps have really long range cameras and he’s probably hiding out in a car where there are other acrs. So KStew was looking in the general direction, but not at.

I’ve always believed they were in a relationship, but I’ve always given some credence that it was an open relationship. Those rumors have been strong and going on for years, more so than the gay rumors, the cheating rumors, or others. How else are they going to react if something like this happens? Say, oh, it’s okay, we fuck other people? Please, the people in the midwest would never accept it. They would wipe out most of their fan base. How else are they going to react? He has to act broken and hurt. She has to be publicly shamed. Notice the careful wording in the People releases and the apology. He moved out, she put in peril. Not one word of he left the relationship, she lost the most important thing in her life. I am inclined to think it will play out in the following. ITA. He’s got two films greenlit at the moment to throw himself into, fortunately. Both are smart picks, very different from Twilight, and geared more towards a male audience. So it makes sense for him to publically cut ties with Kristen. Even if they were to try to reconcile, that needs to be done very privately.
If I were advising him, I’d tell him to keep his mouth shut and have his people do the same. No comments. No trashing of KStew. Maintain the high road, get on with your career and work your butt off. Never underestimate the stupidity of desperate married men. I’m sure he thought in his head that paying for a hotel room and chance being seen there or having his name attached to the bill in the middle of the day would be more high risk, and seeing as they both lived with their partners, they couldn’t go to the other one’s house.
Its funny, but this behavior makes me think that he’s cheated before with other less famous women. With a non-famous woman, meeting in an abandoned parking lot and going to a park where they probably wouldn’t run in to anyone they know would make perfect sense. Notice also how he told her where to hide her car and to drop him off blocks away from his house? That’s the tricks of a seasoned cheater if you ask me.
If this was the first indiscretion of the guy, I think he would have catered his cheating game much more towards the individual woman, Kristen, and the fame and paps she brings with her. There would be much more attention paid to the fact the people follow Kristen wherever she goes.

Sarah, now that was actually a well thought out explanation. I think she was being impulsive and reckless, but also really stupid and naive. JMO. He knew before this all went down. There were scans of the article Tuesday night. This is the biggest story for US Weekly. I don’t believe for one second that they would sit on this story and only ask for a quote the day before they had them printed up, designed the layout, etc.

At the end of the day, I’m kind of over this. Claire Danes slept with a married man with a pregnant wife. Josh Brolin and Sean Penn got busted with domestic violence charges. Yet Stewart is the shittiest of them all? What she did was incredibly shitty, but I’m not okay with a 22 year old being deemed beyond redemption, the worst of the worst, etc. She’s Lilo, Chris Brown, and more all rolled up in one now. She acted like a selfish, moronic, skank. But this public shaming is getting over the top.
Like I said, the more I think about it there is no way he didn’t know before Sunday at the Teen Choice Awards. The bidding on the photos, etc., the fact that they wouldn’t try to get a quote from him until the last possible minute. I buy that she confessed last week. The over the top apologies are weird too.
I think there are two things here. I think he knew but never wanted this to be in the public spotlight, he forgave, or that this was an open relationship based on what so many bloggers/blind items/etc. have hinted at before. If it’s the latter two, he’s screwed. If he wants to forgive her (and based on his personality, I think he would), he can’t because of his career. Men are seen as weak who do something like that, women are forgiving. I’m almost buying that this whole thing is slightly scripted (not the cheating, but the reactions). The over the top apology to get to the twi-hards, be it for real or be it because they would never accept a polyamorous relationship. The moving out to seem strong and to punish her. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a) photographed with a blond or Katy Perry in the next month. Then b) photographed with Kristen Stewart in the month after. Those photos in the park remind me too much of staged photo ops, their clarity, their positioning; doesn’t look like covert zoom lensing that is usually associated with such damning photo evidence. I am not saying they ARE staged, but something is not right with this coffee. I believe that the studios know the media too well, how to use it to manipulate public opinion… I just DO NOT get how this plays in to any of their past machinations. If Sanders had been single, or even married without children, I could see some grand conspiracy to help Stewart and Pattinson exit a fauxmance with some great PR/drama, but I find it really hard to believe that this guy would use his family in this way.

Forgive me if this has been covered all ready, but I don’t see where anyone mentions how the pap(s) got the pictures without those two knowing. If they really were in a deserted alleyway/parking lot behind a vacant building, how did they miss a person who was taking pictures of them? Also, the area they went to has hiking trails all over the place — how could someone have gotten close enough to take all those pictures without them noticing? Seems so strange to me. Any ideas?
Some say the paps were tipped off. But I tend to chalk it up to the sheer number of people following certain celebs interested in getting “that shot”.

Seems there were 2 phases to this. The warehouse and the hiking trail thing. If they got pics at both places, then it must have been pretty easy to keep track of them.
I have read many times about how “friends” do the tipping off because they are angry about what’s going on. If someone knows their friend is being cheated on, but that person won’t believe it, then they may tip the press so they can prove that person is screwing them over.

I’ve had the opposite reaction to all of this. This latest bit of news has actually made me like her more… I used to be indifferent.
In the end, I realize she’s just a 22 year old kid. Rich, in love with her boyfriend, seemingly at the top of the world… but at the end of the day, still a young girl growing up along with the rest of us. At that age we’re more easily swept away, likely to be caught up in the excitement of things. She made a terrible mistake, one that hurt her boyfriend and the marriage of the other party. Now she will be vilified with heavily misogynistic undertones by commentators, Rob fans, and rags. I wish we could all remember she is just only 22.

Im with you on this one. I tend to have a cynical eye with stories like this. But I understand why people fall for some of it.
Many dont understand that many of the people who run hollywood also own or are in charge of about 80% of the magazines sold (even sports and home decorating rags).
Its not uncommon for them to work closely together in a highly coordinated team to spin a nicely woven tapestry of fiction that the public then reacts emotionally to, in just the way it was planned.
And they keep all the money, for movies and magazines, in the family so-to-speak (wink).

I read an interview Liberty gave recently about her marriage. She said she felt like a single mother because he was gone so much and moving where they did she felt a little isolated. She misses sometimes her glamorous life with the big designers.

Have you seen some of the telephoto lenses the paps have? It’s entirely possibly that he was far enough away to be easily seen, even with a giant telephoto lens.
She might suspect that she’s being photographed, but she also may just be looking around to see if anyone, pap or not, sees her.

I just hope that Robert takes a moment to think about how he feels after thIS sensationalism has blown over. I say that because the young lady may be the love of his life and aside from her indiscretions, he may be the love of hers. Take it from someone who has experienced a hell of a lot more than any of you, the pain of cheating will be gone in a few months. His first love may never be gotten over. It may color everything in his life with bitterness. Everybody has an opinion and nobody has a dog in this fight. Robert should decide for himself it what he and Kristen shared is worth his forgiveness. My suggestion, is that he evaluate his feelings in several months. If she has moved on, so be it–it probably was not meant to be. If the regret is there on her part and they find that they still love each other, they should try it again, with the stipulation that no cheating, will be tolerated and another misstep will result in permanent separation. He should be made to know that many a young girl has been influenced and seduced by an older man. Everybody always blames the girl and gives the man a pass. What most of you call for is revenge. We are dealing with tender young feelings and young people make mistakes, that’s how they learn.
Look what happened in the case of Rihanna and Chris Brown. A young heart is a tender and impressionable heart. Many entire lives are colored by what happens in those early years. If you make a decision on your own about a person you loved, you can live with that far better than you can live with a decision you made because of wounded pride and because you were encouraged to make a hasty decision based on your hurt emotion your wounded pride and your broken heart. TIME HEALS A LOT OF THINGS. THE PUBLIC SHOULD BUTT OUT AND LET ROBERT MAKE A DECISION HE CAN LIVE WITH FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.
