These are some photos of your Viking Boyfriend at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of What Maisie Knew, otherwise known as “that movie Alexander Skarsgard shot with a little girl in which the little girl pretty much fell for his Viking charms.” I think Alex is still shooting that apocalyptic movie in Vancouver, so he probably just flew into Toronto for the weekend to promote this film. Thus, he still looks kind of scruffy and unkempt. Surprisingly, though, he doesn’t look as skinny as he did in those recent set photos – maybe he didn’t lose weight for the role after all. Maybe he’s still the same giant, Vikini beast that we all know and love.
Also – this is just a quirk of mine for men: I don’t think men should button the very top button unless they’re going to wear a tie. If they are going tieless, open the top button. Alex is a beast, for sure, but this look reads as “prissy” to me.
As for What Maisie Knew, apparently it’s getting a pretty good reception at TIFF. Alex plays the younger lover of Julianne Moore’s rocker-chick character, and most of the film is told through the perspective of the rocker chick’s daughter, Maisie. I guess it’s supposed to be a straight-forward drama, although comedic actor Steve Coogan is playing Maisie’s father. So who knows.

He gets a lifetime free pass from me. He worked his hot little butt off to get there, scrambled to find that Gucci ensemble once he got there, and was nothing but smiles and smolders as he dodged handlers to spend more time taking pictures and signing things for fans. He’s quickly gaining back his “he can do no wrong” status in my eyes. Adore him! And the pictures of him and Onata? To die for, and apparently, tumblr did yesterday.

For a last minute detail on the suit . He looks great . Wonderful actor . Julianne is beautiful inside and out . When does the film come out ? I definitely want to see it . both of his films are getting great reviews . So happy for him and all of his cast on both films .He will be a great father one day . The interaction with Onata Aprile in What Maisie Knew ? is truly amazing .I like that about him . loved seeing his brother Bill there as well . I’m definitely anti top button buttoning. Whoever decided to make this a fashion trend needs to be taken out and flogged. It reminds me of all those horrible 90s bow-tie less tuxedos. Yuck. It’s ruining all the potential hotness and needs to be stopped.

He had a gorgeous smile on his face the entire night. You may want to also do a spread on Alex and Onata from yesterday. He spent the entire day helping her with all the press they had to do. He is a gorgeous man with even a more beautiful heart. That is why so many women adore him.

Bad facial hair and too thin is because he is filming a movie and is still in character. Bad suit is because it isnt his and was literally purchased off the rack from Gucci earlier that day. Give the guy a break. He’s been working in a bomb shelter for the past two months. You probably wouldn’t look your best either.

Yes! I saw that photo and others of the two of them as well. What a great guy he is for helping Onata with the press interviews all day. That suit style he wore at the premiere isn’t my favorite look, but as others have said, he definitely gets a pass because he had to buy it the day of the screening.

In motion (ie: acting or interviews) he comes across a LOT better. And if you haven’t seen him as Eric in TrueBlood then you probably won’t get it either (and if you have and still don’t, well there is nothing I can do for you lol). He also happens to have a nice body
