Last week we discussed Ewan McGregor’s GQ Style pictorial, in which he spent the entire photo shoot fondling some delicate flowers. It was pretty awesome, although the cover shot sucked. Ewan is doing the publicity rounds these days because he’s promoting the limited release of The Impossible. We discussed the trailer last week too – the film is a true story about a European family caught in the 2004 tsunami in Asia, and the trailer made all of us cry, so I’m not going to include it again. Or should I? I’ll put at the end of the post, but just know that you will cry like a baby.

Anyway, these are photos of Ewan at last night’s AFI Fest premiere/screening of The Impossible. Obviously, the man is HOT HOT HOT. I love his beard. I love his hair. I love his eyes. I love his dirty smile. I love the fit on his pants. I love his Henley. I love his sport coat. I love the way he stands. I love the way he stares down the cameras, making love to them with his eyes. I love him. He’s so beautiful.

Ewan is playing Julia Roberts’ husband, which must thrill Julia to no end. Interestingly enough, Ewan only talked up Meryl Streep. Because… obviously.
