I’m actually surprised by this news! Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell got married in late October of last year, and I just thought they were wild and crazy and sexy, but as it turns out, they were in the mood for baby-making! ERW and Jamie announced they are expecting their first child later this year. Meaning… if my math is correct (??), she got pregnant on the honeymoon…? Honeymoon baby!!
After secretly tying the knot late last year, Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have an even bigger surprise for 2013: There’s a baby on the way! “Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell confirmed that they are expecting their first child later this year,” a rep for the pregnant actress, 25, and actor, 26, tells Us Weekly exclusively. “The couple is thrilled.”
It’s just the latest unexpected news for the Hollywood twosome, who got married in California on Oct. 30 in a top-secret bash, where the Mildred Pierce actress wore a custom Chantilly lace mermaid gown by Carolina Herrera. The British-born Man on a Ledge actor first met Wood in 2005, when they costarred together in Green Day’s “Wake Me Up When September Ends” video. After splitting in 2006, they reunited in summer 2011 — with Bell proposing in early 2012.
Back in November, Wood shot down false speculation that she was expecting. “Sorry to disappoint. But no baby on the way here,” the True Blood star (once engaged to Marilyn Manson) tweeted after she was photographed touching her stomach and wearing a baggy poncho at an L.A. grocery store.
It will be the first child for both.
I know a lot of you aren’t into her at all, but I’ve really grown to like Evan. I think she’s incredibly talented, and she’s toned down the more try-hard/look-at-me parts of her personality. And I think Jamie adores her, and he’s probably jazzed about this. I think Evan was “the one that got away” for him, and he waited for Evan to get through with Marilyn Manson, and then Jamie reentered her life and she was ready for him. That’s just how I read the situation! I mean, that’s how I imagine their sex life because I totally do that, and it’s really hot.
Anyway, congrats on the baby!

Ah well… As long as she really makes Jamie Bell happy therefore I have nothing to say (i.e. speak ill of her).
And no doubt about it, she is a very good actress, the overrated likes of Natalie Portman would wet their pants right next to her.

Sorry, she stole Dita’s husband and then tried to morph into her. She’s as bad as Leann in my book. Maybe she’s grown up and regretted it but I doubt it. Last I heard she was trying to get attention for being bisexual/non straight, as if being betrothed was going to take the sparkle out of her “edginess”.

She was a teenager then, wasn’t she? I put the blame more squarely on Manson. People grow up and change. Can’t really hold their teenage antics against them. By all accounts she’s a lot more settled and solid as a person.

She was very young and impressionable when that happened and Marilyn was much older than her. As was Dita. He and Dita were done. And while I did dislike her a lot during that era, the way she broke Jamie’s heart and how he even said in an interview years later that he was still in love with her and she ignored him, I still believe she’s a good person who just needed to experience life a little bit before realizing the love of her life was right there, waiting for her. She just had to grow up and this is why it’s a bad idea to date much older men when you’re so young: they try to make you their own way, so marilyn wanted his little own younger Dita.
If you read her Twitter she’s actually really sweet and always talks to fans. She’s great. And very talented. Please don’t compare her to LeAnn who is a baskettcase and fights with fans on Twitter.
Also, just because she came out as bisexual doesn’t mean she used it for attention. More people are coming out these days and it’s good for young kids to see famous LGBT celebrities.

Every time I read a biphobic comment, I wander if there is actual scientific evidence for the self-proclaimed heterosexuals or if you all are just doing it for attention?
Seriously, it´s not up to you to decide if someone other then you is “real” enough to claim a label for their own sexual identity. If she says she is bisexual, she is bisexual. Fullstop.

There is nothing “biphobic” about pointing out that she might be doing it for attention. Much of what she was doing prior to now seems to have been for the shock value…why else date Marylin Manson? I think you misinterpreted what I was saying.

I think she’s been “out” for quite a while. What you’re referring to happened right after she got married. One of her Twitter followers asked if her marriage made her straight. She pointed out that a bi woman doesn’t stop being bi because she got married to a man. It’s not attention-whoring to point out a common misconception against bisexuals. And I can’t say it’s attention-whoring when she didn’t bring it up – she was responding to a direct question.

I’ve always liked her, ever since Thirteen. I went off her during her Marilyn Manson phase (when she was pulling a Leann Rimes and copying the ex’s look), but she’s one of the more talented actresses of her age and almost consistently picks good projects.
I’m actually not surprised by this news though, another gossip blog called it some days ago. They had pictures of Evan with her hand on a noticeable belly. Congrats to them!

This girl has really grown on me! I used to like her on Once and Again but her Marilyn Manson era made me really dislike her a lot, mainly because of her tryhardedness and the way she wanted to be just like Dita Von Teese.
Then she was on True Blood and I found her very overdone. So I was very annoyed by her, I thought she was very fake.
Then I followed her on Twitter because two of my friends adore her, and she got back together with Jamie and it was like her true self came out again. She’s just lovely and I think she’s very talented too. Her Twitter made me love her. One time my friend tweeted: “Evan Rachel Wood woke up the bisexual in me” and she tweeted back “Yay! I’m the Prince to your bisexual Sleeping Beauty!” lol.
I’m so happy for them. Jamie was heartbroken for years over her. Even after she dumped him for Marilyn he loved her for years. Guess he never gave up and now they will have a little family!

Up till 2 months ago she was bragging about smoking pot. Judging by her bump she is pregnant longer than 2 months. Hope that didn’t harm her kid :O

I have come to like her more myself. She’s grown up a lot and I think getting out that twisted relationship she had with Marilyn Manson helped tremendously. I was actually pretty excited to hear this news. Good for them.
