I was surprised by the fighting and the mix of reactions on yesterday’s Kim Kardashian-miscarriage scare post. Is the conspiracy theory about Kim “faking it” really holding up? For the record, I don’t think Kim is faking her pregnancy – she’s simply gaining too much weight for it to be fake, and she’s a crazy narcissist so I can’t see her doing that to her body for no reason. And for the record, I don’t think Kim faked her miscarriage scare. I think something happened and Kim was legitimately concerned and she went to the doctor and he (or she) really told Kim to settle down and stop traveling so much. After Page Six and TMZ broke the news about Kim’s scare, all of the media outlets were reporting variations on “she’s fine now” and “the doctor told her to rest”. Here’s today’s update:
Kim Kardashian is awaiting tests from doctors after her miscarriage scare, according to sources, and friends say the experience has been a “wake-up call” for the pregnant reality star who’s never met a photo-op she didn’t like.
After we exclusively reported that Kim had to be rushed to doctors after she returned to LA from Paris fashion week, her sister Khloe posted a note to fans yesterday to thank them for their concern, writing, “Mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy.”
But behind the scenes, we hear Kim is panicked as doctors carry out tests following her scare. “She’s awaiting test results,” said a source. “Kim’s really scared — this has been a wake-up call that she really needs to slow down and take care of herself. Friends are telling her to lay off the high heels and the high fashion.”
But another source close to Kamp Kardashian said simply, “Kim didn’t feel well, she went to doctor, had some tests and all is fine. He ordered her to rest.”
The mother of Kanye West’s baby’s been photographed working out daily to control her weight and appearing at promotional events galore. “She’s very responsible about meeting all her appointments. But she realizes this is something serious.”
Kim does have a lot of endorsement deals and business/branding appearances, but surely her pimp momager can cull the list of appearances for the next six months or so, right? That’s my question – why hasn’t Kris Jenner already told her daughter to take it easy? Oh, right. Because Kris doesn’t give a crap about her daughters’ welfare. At all.
Here’s an interesting sidenote, and one that all of us saw coming – some “sources” are trying to make it sound like Kim’s miscarriage scare happened because of the stress of dealing with Kris Humphries. A source dropped the hint to Us Weekly: “She’s been working a lot, and with a divorce and the move and everything else she has going on, she just needs to take a little rest.” And according to Radar, Kris Humphries is NOT pleased.
It was ugly before and now it’s getting worse. Kris Humphries is livid that some reports are blaming him for Kim Kardashian‘s recent miscarriage scare – and he believes people close to Kim planted those reports. Kim was rushed to a hospital after falling ill on a plane from Paris to Los Angeles on Tuesday night, as RadarOnline reported earlier.
Several media reports Thursday said the reason for Kim’s miscarriage scare is she’s “stressed out” prepping for her upcoming deposition in the divorce proceedings. The NBA player is committed to proving his marriage to Kim was a sham and wants an annulment, not a divorce.
Kris believes that someone in Kim’s camp planted information blaming him for her miscarriage scare. “Kris feels this is yet another ploy by Kim’s camp to make him look bad. Kris didn’t make Kim get on a 10 hour flight to and from Paris, nor did he have anything to do with her trip to Nigeria,” a source told Radar, relaying how angry Kris became after blame was shot his way.
“Kris won’t be blamed for her pregnancy complications, and he wants to subpoena her medical records to determine what is really going on with Kim medically. The only stress Kim is experiencing is temper tantrums because Kris isn’t just going to give her a divorce because it’s convenient for her. Perhaps Kim should also stop filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and stop the jet setting lifestyle,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Yeah. I think the whole “Kim is in medical danger because of the divorce” thing is full of crap too, but Kris Humphries is such a d-bag about it that I can’t even side with him. How about being a human being and saying, “Kris hopes she feels better”? Because he can’t say that because he’s so immature and he’s still stuck in this mentality of wanting her to suffer because she left him. And if Kris actually demands to see Kim’s medical records as part of this neverending divorce trial? Ugh. Just ugh. They were married for, what? 72 days? He doesn’t own her or her body. He has no right to her current medical records.

From the back of her neck round to the front you can see layer after layer layered. I have to think her skin must be moldy, it couldn’t possibly breath under literal inches of makeup.

What about all the x-rays you’re exposed to when you fly? Can’t that harm a growing fetus? I read that flying cross-country is the equivalent of getting dental x-rays.
You don’t have to go through x-rays when you fly — especially if you are pregnant. You can ask for a pat-down by an agent. I flew a fair amount when I was pregnant and never went through an x-ray.

Aside from the security line, you are also exposed to radiation when you fly from the plane itself. (about the same amount as you do via the xray machine) So yea, I think she would be worried about that as well.

I have to fly a lot for work, although I did cut back a great deal when I was pregnant. I actually had an easy pregnancy and it was relatively difficult for me to accept that there were some things I couldn’t do because I felt perfectly able to maintain my former schedule. I was lucky to have people in my life — family, co-workers, even my boss — to remind (and sometimes force) me to slow down and adjust. Has no one done the same for Kim? Seriously, her mom, Kanye, her enormous staff?
Yes, it’s the radiation of flying itself, not x-rays per se. I believe my doctor said that one 6-hr flight is equivalent to 26+ x-rays.

Medical people will keep quiet due to privacy laws, it’s actually rare for stuff to get out even with tabloids dangling money in front of staff. Even hospital chaplains are covered – I asked one who knew me (and so stopped by while I was in the hospital when he saw my name on the list) not to tell anybody I was there because I didn’t want to be bothered by well-meaning visitors before and after. He said he couldn’t tell anybody anything, not even just that I was in the hospital, because the laws were so strict.
This is definitely true. If you see a neighbor in a waiting room, and ask what is wrong, you could in violation of HIPPA laws. I work in a hospital and everyone is very cautious regarding patient info.

I agree with you completely. It’s like this if you know that your in the middle of a bitter divorce maybe you should concentrate on getting that outta the way asap so that you can alleviate the stress. Ways to do that include:
1. No boyfriend until the divorce is final
2. No pregnancy until the divorce is final
3. Minimal famewhoring until the divorce is final
When people cause all sorts of stress in their own lives and then expect other people to feel guilty for it, it really makes me angry. Make your choices and live with the consequences.

BUT – when someone’s life is a TV show (and we know the genre term “reality” should be in quotes always), and when that person has been busted faking what is supposed to be “reality” for the sake of said show, I can see why people cry “FAKE” every time something dramatic (and pub-generating) occurs in her life. Also, and maybe it’s just me, but in this case, unless you have PROOF she’s faking something so horrible and scary, it’s better not to say anything to that effect. So what if you’re hunch is right? It’s nasty. She’s a human being. She didn’t stand a chance with that mother of hers, and she doesn’t go around running over babies in strollers with her sports car or ripping people off, she just sees herself as a product because that’s how her mother sees her.
She’s dumb to go on long flights, or any flights really, when she’s carrying a child, especially in the first to second trimester when genetics can really go awry on their own, but especially if impacted by excess radiation. I just miscarried myself, at home, so I saw the fetus and that was all I needed to see to know it was a genetic issue, probably nothing I did but who really knows.
I’ve actually miscarried twice, the first one was just very early, both times I miscarried, a panic attack preceded the actual bleeding by a few hours. It was weird. While I know during the second miscarriage, the baby had died at least 2 weeks before I went into labor at 3 mos, the first MC I don’t know that. I’ve always wondered if panic attacks/stress can threaten a pregnancy. I think the panicked feeling I had was probably my body gearing up to pass the babies, but I wonder if sometimes you can trigger your body to go into labor too early by inducing that same kind of stress in yourself. My gut says there is some connection to stress and miscarriage, and since you can’t take anxiety meds like Xanax during pregnancy, Kim needs to find a way to cope with the stress and STOP JETSETTING for god’s sake.

While I agree with you, I honestly hope that’s not true. That’d be really beyond despicable to fake a miscarriage scare. I can’t even stomach the thought. (I had an early contractions scare at 30 weeks and it was honestly the scariest, most heart-breaking, stressful thing I’ve ever been through. Thankfully all was well and my son remained in utero for another two months. But you’d have to be a really horrific person to fake such a thing…)

I think it’s called simply being a human being and having human empathy- even for someone you may not necessarily like. My question would be when did we as a society become so mean-spirited and nasty as to make jokes or snarky comments about a woman miscarrying?? I can see why some people don’t like KK. That’s fine. I find your comment nice and high minded and under any other circumstance I would agree with you. But this being about the queen of mean I believe she deserves what she gets. When has Kim or anyone in her family shown any empathy or concern for what Kim did to Kris Humphries? That would be never. A lot of pregnant women in third-world countries have to do all the house chores like do laundry by hand with a washboard, they have to cook, clean, sweep and mop, and more, and they do not have miscarriages. And Kim Kardashian clad in 5-inch stiletto heels sits comfortably in a first-class airplane seat getting pampered by stewardesses and that makes her some kind of a martyr? Please.

Here’s why I’m skeptical: because we immediately knew about said scare. Typicaly a celebrity pregnancy is the best way to whitewash an image and that hasn’t happened AT ALL with Kim – I think she’s been trying to play her pregnancy for sympathy.

Other women have lost parents or other loved ones while pregnant and I’d argue that that would be MUCH more stressful than dealing with a divorce.

Agreed!!!! Personally know a girl whose mother suffered breast cancer and died within the 9 months of her pregnancy and she carried to full term and had a healthy baby while keeping a job and a home life with her husband. Kim needs to grow up.
Do I like Kim K, as a person? No. But do I think she’s faking this? No. And do I think it’s good karma to so gleefully assume someone is lying about something as serious as a miscarriage scare? Um. No.
If she DID have trouble conceiving (I have no idea if she did) it stands to reason that she might have a more complicated pregnancy, too. People who have trouble conceiving often also have trouble carrying a baby to term, although not always.
And say what you will about how you, or someone you know, or women in “third world countries” work a lot harder and don’t have miscarriages — no pregnancy is alike. Exposing your body to the radiation of flying regularly is not necessarily a good idea during pregnancy. I’ve had one normal pregnancy and one high-risk pregnancy, and while I was able to work 60-hour work weeks and continue exercising during my first (normal) pregnancy, I was told in no uncertain terms during the high-risk pregnancy to stop exercising and not to even consider flying.
If she had a miscarriage scare as a result of some sign of preterm labor, or a blood clot, or anything involving her cervix, it is not unreasonable that she might be asked to change her lifestyle. You can’t pin that part on her being a famewhore or lazy, or whichever attribute you don’t like about her. She may be an unpleasant human being, but even she is allowed to have a baby. If she or someone in her camp are blaming this on Kris H, that is monumentally stupid, but so is Kris’s response demanding her medical records.
Good LORD. Come on now. If you’ve never been pregnant or had a miscarriage or a miscarriage scare, please spare me.

if i were scared about my pregnancy I wouldnt fly nonstop, and make trips to third world countries no less. its easy enough to get sick just doing routine coast to coast travel – any time of year. i am a medical professional & to me airports are up there with hospitals on the dirrrtyyydirrrtttyyy list. ew sick. yeah she rarely flys commercial, but still.

A miscarriage is a horrible terrible heartbreaking thing. Most women at some point miscarriage. I myself have had several. Do her actions seem right? Leaking she needs to slow down whilst basically setting up a cot in the airport? Seem like a woman doing what she can to protect her fetus? Would I ever discuss a scare in the tabloids. That’s some juju nerve right there. HELL TO THE NO, I could barely discuss my miscarriages with my husband or my mother.
This trick is barely pregnant, yet twice, TWICE, already has gone to the media with a miscarriage scare. She hasn’t slowed down. She hasn’t stopped wearing spanks or spray tan. She hasn’t mentioned an actual baby. She didn’t stop flying hill and dale last month when she first tried to blame Kris for her stress. This does not seem a woman who struggled with fertility and is afraid of losing her unborn child.

I’ve had a miscarriage (at 20 weeks), a “normal” pregnancy, and two “high-risk” pregnancies (in that order).
After my miscarriage, I was so terrified of something going wrong with my “normal” pregnancy that I refused to do anything to risk my unborn baby’s health. And the last thing I wanted to do was discuss my miscarriage with family or close friends, let alone gossip mags.
With the “high-risks” I did what I had to do to ensure my unborn babies stayed where they belonged for as long as possible.
KK is NOT acting like a mother-to-be concerned for the health and well-being of her unborn child.

I just had a life threatening [blood loss, went into shock, blood transfusion] miscarriage at 11 weeks. 2 weeks ago.
I NEEDED to talk about it. I kept it in for a few days but I eventually even posted about it on FB [most of my FB friends are people I am close with or grew up with] because it was so traumatic and, at the same time, awe-inspiring in a strange way for me. I’ve never had a child so it was all very new, I needed to make it real in my brain not only by opting for a natural miscarriage [which involved intense, horrible labor pains and me seeing my baby after it passed].
Kim lives her life publicly, the media is like her FB, I don’t think it’s odd that she would discuss a miscarriage scare openly. I don’t think it indicates she’s faking anything.
What I can’t understand is why Kanye lets her do all this crazy traveling and shit. That is his baby too. My fiance was so protective of our pregnancy. And it was a beautiful thing to see in a man.

Oh, so this is the anti Kris Humphries site now? They were not married for 72 days since they are STILL married. What part of that is confusing? He has behaved with dignity since this began, you have never seen him in the press or on some bullshit reality show spreading fake stories. Even in this season’s show in Miami they are still talking about him. The point is not whether or not she is pregnant or faking it, but that the entire family has such a terrible reputation for lies and stunts that so many do not believe a word that comes out of their mouths. We all know they are capable of faking a pregnancy, just like they faked a wedding. Kim has not been seen once holding her baby bump like all pregnant women do. She has never said I can’t wait to be a Mom, decorate the nursery, or any of the normal pregnant things women always do. All Kim cares about is K-I-M. She is the most vain woman on the planet. Does she ever look happy since this situation began.

Yes! Everyone keeps fussing that KH is a D-bag because he “won’t give her a divorce.” Well, Kim won’t give him an annulment, which is what he originally asked for. Lest anyone forget, KH had to fight tooth and nail for every piece of discovery in the divorce process because Kim & Co held it up. She’s an a$$hat. Because HE won’t give HER what SHE wants, he’s the problem. Um, no.

Absolutely. I really can’t believe this site’s defense of KK, a known hustler, while it puts down KH. Why is it impossible to believe he was duped and hurt and now mad? In fact, to say he is a douche who knew the scam is to admit she’s a walking talking scam, isn’t it? Also, I have had guy friends who are exactly like KH—sports guys, confident, and yet so wounded when screwed over romantically because at the core they were naive or sort of innocent. It can happen. Just as it can happen that a reality princess, daughter of a hardcore hustler, could pull a few games out of her bag when convenient. I absolutely do not get the weird claws drawn against KH.
The only person responsible for Kim’s fetus is Kim. She’s chasing the money. If her child is at risk, then it’s on her yo make the necessary changes in her lifestyle to ensure her child is brought to term.
I’m with Kris on this. Why should he continue to put up with the Kardashians blaming him for what goes on in Kim’s uterus? He does owe her his concern or empathy. They wouldn’t be tied to each other after a year’s separation if she would grant the annulment.
Maybe if she would stop wearing cloths that squish her fat and the baby maybe she would run less of a risk of miscarriage. And here’s a thought, stop the excessive international travel. It’s not healthy when your not pregnant. Imagine what it’s doing to that fetus.. Oh and going to take a guess that psycho bf Kanye isn’t helping her stress levels.

Unless she or her lawyer actually state to the court that the stress from the divorce proceedings caused this, WHY would he be able to get her medical records? Aren’t those private? I do think that using the divorce as an explanation for her scare is dumb, but every women has a right to keep her medical records private-unless Kim/her lawyer EXPLICITLY state that the divorce caused her health issues. Kris shouldn’t be allowed access to her private health records based off “evidence” from an “unnamed source” in a tabloid
What test results? There are no test results to await. You get checked out right away and either the baby is fine or the baby is not fine. Why do they think people are stupid? Oh, wait – because people are stupid. Feeling rundown because you fly all over the worlds is not a miscarriage scare. This woman will do anything for attention and it’s disgusting.
^^This. I have been thinking the same thing…. unless she has some other health concerns, what test results is she waiting for after her ‘miscarriage scare’?? Oh, and just because she isn’t feeling well doesn’t mean she has had a ‘miscarriage scare’. Even if she is just really worried about having a miscarriage, doesn’t feel well, and tells someone she was worried she was having a miscarriage… well, that doesn’t actually mean she had a ‘miscarriage scare’. The fact that these ‘scares’ become public immediately make me doubt them even more. The only reason for them to be made public is for attention… sympathy… PR, whatever. Not buying it.
Kim is setting up a miscarriage announcement in future. She aint preggers. This ‘pregnancy’ has served its purpose (or not) depending on how u look at it. She never wanted it. She hasn’t been happy. She is too vain and selfish for what it would take. How her sisters can actually stand to look at her is beyond me. Kanye on his part doesn’t seem too into the whole circus any longer. Oh well, time will tell.
Any OB worth their medical license always tells you that it’s perfectly fine to exercise at the “same level that you were BEFORE your pregnancy” as long as it wasn’t something dangerous or far too extreme. Kim was um, hardly a gym rat before she got knocked up, but all of a sudden she thought it’d be fine to start working out “seven days a week” (her own words) AFTER she got pregnant?? What an idiot.
I hate to say it but, the stress that’s been put on her body over the past several months has been entirely self-inflicted. How about staying in shape in general so you don’t have to “freak out” about pregnancy weight gain and go to these extremes overnight. But then, if she couldn’t even manage to take care of a sweet little kitten…
I think she’s pregnant mostly to avoid being too sceptical of humanity. Regardless, I’ll never use genuine to describe this woman. She has no talent at all for showbiz, her only game is PR. And she can occasionally style herself. Occasionally. Before pregnancy.

So, apparently being pregnant grants her some sort of AMNESTY. I don’t wish her or her child ill, but really an implanted embryo does not a character reformation make.
Kim is such a habitual liar that it’s natural for anybody to have doubts about her pregnancy (whether it’s real or not) and anything she and her klan claim about her alleged health emergencies. My first thought when reading about her latest alleged miscarriage scare was not “hope she’s ok” but “how predictable, now the fake miscarriage plot line begins”. She’s brought that on herself. Kris H got to know her well enough to realize that nothing the K’s and especially Kim say can be trusted, so don’t blame him if Mr. Sources (who gets quoted so often in tabloids) says he’s irritated with her and would like to see the medical records if once again she tries to tell the judge that his perfectly legitimate petition for annulment is killing her baby…. Remember she’s already done that in a declaration to the judge so it’s not speculation. She’s such a liar and he knows it very well, I don’t blame him for not leaping to express public sympathy. I’m a reasonably kindly person, and I didn’t either. Too much chance we’re being played yet again.
We will just have to wait a few months to see better evidence that she is actually pregnant. Because she’s had liposuction and various plastic surgeries, her fat accumulation will not be normal. Fat cells are needed to store the fat from dietary excess. If she actually had her own fat cells injected into her derrière as some suspect, that would be a prime area for fat storage if she’s just overeating. Likewise any real breast tissue would readily store fat. She would not gain fat in areas depleted of fat cells by liposuction. I’ve seen recommendations to avoid overfeeding infants for a related reason – although plump babies may be cute, extra fat cells developed then will stay with the child forever and may make weight control more difficult as an adult.
Also this is a woman who loves to post nearly naked pictures of herself from her bathroom – will she do this to prove a real pregnant body at some time? If not, this is actually suspicious in her case.
I would like to believe that Khloe wouldn’t go along with a fake pregnancy, but she is a Kardashian by nurture if not by nature. Likewise the more sensible Kourtney is still a Kardashian. So there’s no guarantee of anything with these folks.

Well they say divorce is like having a death in the family as far as stress goes. I agree, it does suck. However, I don’t blame Kris H. There are two people in this fight. Neither seems to want to give an inch. Pride, money, what is at the center of this tug of war? Once lawyers get involved, it gets out of control.
Long airplane flights increase the risk of developing blood clots. So there is that too.
Bottom line, she does need to slow down and try to enjoy her pregnancy while preparing for a new life. Seems like maybe it is hard for her to live her life at regular speed. Just a theory.

I never really paid attention to that horrible song “Mercy,” but the other night I heard that line that says something to the effect of “my chick makes your chick look like Precious.” THE. F-CK. Your chick is literally a whore (she had sex and got paid for it), and Gabourey Sidibe is a talented and bright woman who seems very down to Earth and cool. I feel infinitely sorry for that poor creature growing inside that walking/talking trash can.

I have a sincere hope that Khloe(despite her faults)will intervene and raise Kim’s baby after Kim grows tired of the baby. This poor kid is going to wind up like Mercy the Kitten otherwise. Khloe is the only one that has any kind of normal life and is halfway decent. I wish she didn’t feel like she has to lie for her family though.
I used to get some schadenfreude pleasure out of watching Kim blow up (don’t lie you did too)but now Kim just looks resentful and angry. The most disturbing aspect that has come out is just how obsessed she is with her body. She is one of those women who has to be the victim and has to blame something for everything that is going wrong in her life. I can see this poor baby being blamed by Kim for ruining her body, ruining her relationship with Kanye (we all know that’s coming). Kris H. isn’t going to be around much longer so I can see the baby taking his place as the one Kim blames for everything terrible in her life. Maybe if she took stock of herself and didn’t use, abuse, lie and manipulate people, she wouldn’t have nearly as much bad in her life.

I’m roughly 2 weeks behind Kim, pregnancy wise. She seems pregnant, but she isn’t necessarily showing because that’s how her body is. She’s 5’2” (?) and extremely wide, so she’s probably carrying differently. I’m 5’7” and generally at average weight and I have a round bump, so…anything is possible.
I don’t think she’s faking her pregnancy but to blame her ‘stress’ and ‘pregnancy’ scare of KH is disgusting. Even if it IS caused by him, grow up and take responsibility for your actions and take care of yourself and your baby. I work 40+ hours a week as a paralegal, go home to cook and clean, be with my husband and deal with my HG and not once have I made a peep because I’m literally DYING for this baby. I do agree with others that she doesn’t seem like she want this baby and where the f is Kanye????
KH should turn on her and say all of the stress from the impending divorce has effect his career causing him to be benched and more than likely traded soon etc.
