Nah, that’s not sun, from previous pics any sun overexposure would be nose/cheeks.
And since he’s filming TB, no sun exposure for him for awhile.
I think he’s probably just tired and perhaps having an allergy flareup.
Though maybe he was filming a fight scene and got thwacked across the face.

To me it looks like sunburn on his cheekbones and nose – exactly where you’d expect it. But yes, it could also be an allergy. Deffo don’t think he was in a fight – punches don’t leave vague red marks, they leave cuts and bruises.

I’m just not into skinny dudes with blond hair, bland complexion and bony faces. He’s just “eh”, to me.
I’ll also say something about Richie: she looks thinner but not as thin as she used to. Still, if it’s indeed true that she is having huge fights with the husband about who cheated first and harder, then this might be her sickness coming up again: look at me, I’m thin/fashionable/desirable/lovable. We never really get rid of that, it’s always there in the back of our heads, and I wish her the best if that’s the illness acting up again.
Guess we’ll see if she gets back into shape or gets worse shortly.

He always looks like he’s on the verge of dying/looks sickly or has severe allergies. The only difference is he doesn’t have his typical clammy, sweat, sheen coating his skin to go along with the puffy red rimmed eyes of his. I never got this guy hype, but I guess all it takes is some height and defined abs to be considered goodlooking nowadays.

And two, as someone who suffers from severe inhalant allergies, that’s pretty much what I look around the eyes during the ‘bad’ season.

He never really took off professionally when he got True Blood. It really surprises me. But he lost Thor to Chris Hemsworth. And he hasnt gotten any other notable movie parts. With True Blood waning, I wonder if his time is passing?

I don’t know about his career waning or not. I remember reading an interview with him, a year or two ago. It was just before he did Battleship. He spoke about how he wanted to do different roles than Erik. About how 99% of the scripts sent to him were basically Erik in a different time period and story. So I think he’s trying, but the public still sees him as “Erik”. Whether or not his career gets any better, I don’t know. If it doesn’t I think he’ll go back to his hometown and work there. He doesn’t seem to need fame as much as some people do.

@LAK: Well, DB still has Bones, but he never made the successful transition to the movies. Neither did David Caruso.
Sometimes that happens.
And Alex in the last two years has been able to film 4 movies, even with the limited time available due to the TB filming schedule.
So I think it’s highly premature to consider his career as waning.
And if he doesn’t become a blockbuster movie leading man type, but still get interesting and well-received roles, I think he’s probably alright with that.

@cr – I am completely biased by my dislike of blockbusters especially of the kind put out these days.
I wouldn’t see it as a bad thing if he never made that transition. However, i do want him to transition as successfully as Johnny Depp/Leonardo di Caprio/Bruce Willis/Michael Douglas/George Clooney did from TV.
I like his choices away from TV. His interviews show someone who is a thespian rather than a famewhore. He is invested enough in the fame aspect to make it work, but he says he is seeking out auteurs rather than blockbuster franchises. I think his childhood trauma over fame means he will never be as fame hungry as some other actors with his profile might be. And he says he doesn’t want to do anything that looks like ‘ERIK’ which is borne out by the choices he has made. That said, he has some splaining to do for BATTLESHIP.
I remember David B’s interviews from that era, and he wasn’t as prepared or focused or even an ‘actor’ in the thespian tradition. It just seemed like a ride for him and he wasn’t too bothered if he didn’t transition.
David C was just a tit. He thought he was owed big screen fame. He made bad choices and was difficult to work with.

Britney definitely got herself a new set of weird, downward pointing bolt ons. (You can tell that the bra is super thin and not padded by the lacy outline, the way she’s (still) sagging and the nip show through.) From what I’ve been told, implant surgery is excruciating so I don’t understand how all these celebs, some admitedly, keep replacing or having them taken out on the reg. YIKES.
