This is a photo of Liam Hemsworth running for the hills at LAX airport on Wednesday. On that same day, his new galpal Eiza Gonzales was papped. I’ve included those photos at the bottom of this post. I’m not blaming anything on Eiza. There’s just no point in focusing on her. She did smooch Liam all weekend, but I think she’s just a fling. She probably knows that too. I hope so. Plus she’s focusing on her acting career after landing a role as a beauty queen in All Hail the Squash Blossom Queen. Hmm.

Oh I guess we should talk about Liam. He supposedly stopped mooching out of Miley’s fridge and moved out when she was in Europe a few weeks ago:

In order to further distance himself from her, the Aussie native, who’s extremely close to his family, “told Miley he is actually thinking of moving back to Australia for a while,” the insider tells the mag.

Surely you’ve already picketed the exhaust on trucks and cars that release enough fumes into our environment and depletes the Ozone layer. Surely you look down upon those who drink due to it being negative for those and even more harsh for their families who have to endure a drunk. And hopefully you’re as passionate towards the doctors that constantly prescribe pain pills and the like that ruin a person’s body and organs and increase the chance of addiction for the rest of their life.

Dommy Dom Dpm, whether or not smoking is injurious to others (and it is), I still discount every single smoker I see as being lazier, more unhealthy, and stupider (or some aggregated combo of the three) than every non-smoker. Because if you were healthy, smart, and motivated, you’d quit. Sorry, but them’s the breaks. And this judgment isn’t uncommon. So, um, deal.
That’s incredibly small minded. Being a smoker doesn’t make a person lazy. Unhealthy, yes but it doesn’t devalue the person. Though by that admission I suppose a person who has any type of bad habit just means we get to label them the three terms you did for smokers. Lazy, unhealthy and stupid.
Smoking is bad for smokers and non-smokers alike but it is unwise to lump people into one group. And its funny because I see smokers as energetic, type A, workaholic multitaskers. Nicotine, by the way, is an addictive drug and people struggle to break their dependency – that isnt laziness. It is also the person who is consuming thousands of unnecessary calories, boozing, drugging etc that yells at smokers. I know 2nd hand smoke danger is the crucial difference but omg. People may try to quit if they can see the light, get some help and know their bodies will thank them. But maybe not if you call them nasty, inferior, lazy scourges, imho.
I bet Elsa is flipping! Eiza is young, beautiful and will prob have an exploding career (in modeling if nothing else) thanks to the Budget Hemsworth. Plus, she’ll no longer be the sole fiery Latina in the Hemsworth clan

I think they split months ago..probably even before he was involved with January Jones. They probably waited to announce it so the onus would be on their projects..his movie and her CD release. But it was probably Miley who resisted releasing a statement. The reason why he moved on so quickly is because in his mind they were done and have been for awhile. He emotionally checked out months ago. When men check out emotionally..forget it. He had both feet out the door. The last appearance they had together on the red carpet for his movie…his body language said it all. Totally disconnected.

Miley is capable of looking amazing. I’ve really liked some of her outfits that’s she’s worn to interviews over the course of the last year. However, in those album shots, she looks like a thirteen-year-old boy being photographed by a skeevy uncle.

Miley acts like her performance was equivalent to Britney Spear’s epic “Opps I did Again” and “I’m a Slave 4U” VMA performances…it was not even close! Britney may have lip synced, but she brought the house down in those performances. Britney clearly was working her @$$ off to put on a great show for everyone. She brought her A-game. Miley thinks she is gods gift and brought her F- game and thought since she is so special, that her F- game would be awesome enough for everyone.
I dont think Cher was body shaming her. I think her comment on her body looking like hell is more about Miley clearly having NO discipline. Miley thinks she is too good to try. Too good to put the work into an amazing performance. Too good and too big of a star in her own mind to need to work out her flabby butt. Pop Stars are these alien human beings, these mythical performers who fascinate us with their talent and appearance. They are those that are so talented, they make it look easy. But you know there were sweat and tears behind it. Not Miley. She huffed and puffed and jiggled her way through her performance. Miley thinks she is such a big star, she can dump some vulgar gestures on an audience and call it a performance. She went for vulgarity and shock value, and that is easy. Miley’s dance routine was none existent and seemed unrehearsed, her outfit was ill fitting, her voice sucked and her overall “look” was bad. It was such a half a$$ed performance and Cher is right. Miley doesn’t even bother to work on her fitness either. Miley wants to be a popstar but doesn’t want to put the effort in on any level from the performances to her fitness. Miley doesn’t deserve a slot to perform at the VMA’s.
Look at Britney and Cher’s past VMA performances. Those women were professionals. They were in incredible shape and I give them kudos for that!! It is easy to be skinny like Miley, it takes discipline to have a great body like Britney and Cher had during their performances.
You are given the opportunity to bring your best game to a VMA performance and you do what Miley does? Miley squandered this performance and everyone sees she put no thought into it. People love to be entertained at these VMA’s and Miley failed.
Great post Stacey! Finally someone else who saw what I saw! The criticism of the performance shouldn’t be that it was too sexy, it should be that it was an awful performance because Miley’s wordwobe, dancing and singing were 100% bad.
YUP, this has been my issue all along and why I enjoy the “your just haters” comments because it wasn’t a good performance, period. She looked awkward and put about as much work into it as she does her “acting” which if you were forced to sit through Miley & Liam’s movie or heck even the previews you know is absolutely no effort at all. I think her haircut is cute but dear lord they way she had it pulled up in two buds on top of her head with clip on bangs in the back she looked deranged. Even worse was the 1985 dance costume for Gloria Estefan’s “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You” complete with be-dazzlers that she also wore that night. Seriously all I could do was laugh because the whole thing was tragic.
I agree with everything you said except for the body parts. Because I don’t feel that it’s a female celebrity’s ‘job’ to make her body fit The Body Standard, whether she dresses sexy or not. I think people should just try to be what’s healthy for them, and I don’t think lean, toned bodies are the only attractive bodies.
I totally agree. Skinny doesn’t mean hot and quite frankly, I think Miley looked way too skinny and she needs to eat more and hit the gym. Britney in particular was never thin, she was incredibly toned-like a gymnast or a gym rat. You don’t get cut like Britney was back then by dieting alone. You get cut like her with hard work. Like I said, I respect the discipline behind their perfectly toned bodies obviously achieved through diet and hardcore exercising. Their body is part of their craft as entertainers.
I guess my point about the body is that we put Pop Stars on a pedastal. We don’t call these people Stars for nothing. We want our Stars to work for our adoration. I also don’t get why he is some kind of ‘saint’ for ‘putting up with miley for months’ before he left. Um, if anything I’d have a lot more respect for him if he just cut it as soon as he checked out emotionally. How does stringing her along, knowing you don’t care make him good at all ? Clearly you’ve never dealt with a clinger. And I say that as a woman. Have seen this type of girl/woman cling like a barnacle no matter what. It takes utterly humiliating them to remove them, and even then they find reasons not to accept the break up. Being considered a douche is a small price to pay to remove a clinger.
How do you know miley was being a clinger ? If she was so, so clingy why’d she leave him alone to even be able to do that in the first place ? To me, if she was that clingy shed be far to insecure to leave him to his own devices for to long.

This is a guy who used to defend her behaviour publicly. Do you remember the pen!s cake?! Liam came out and defended Miley and reiterated how much he cared for her. He did no such thing after the VMAs.
This January, he was rumoured to have been caught with January Jones or Emma Watson, which was either true or not. Either way, the engagement was off. Miley stopped referring to it as an engagement ring.
Liam took off immediately to Australia for several weeks, and only returned in time for whatever film he to shoot. He has been maintaining a sort of distance from Miley ie either on set or with friends/family. Very little time with Miley.
His body language has also been off. The fact that he was photographed kissing another girl a minute after the confirmation, was deliberate and meant to send a message – celeb equivalent of kissing your new fellow in the high school cafeteria so everyone, especially the ex knows that you ARE over them AND more importantly have moved on. People only do that when they are dealing with a clinger.
Further, confirmation from Miley’s camp only came AFTER rumours existence of these pics.
I don’t need to know these people personally to see this. Let’s put it down to life experience, because we have all been there or know people who have behaved this way. ‘Clinger’ isn’t a term i made up.

Liam behaving like a douche is all Miley’s fault, don’t you know? Because she cut her hair, because she embarrasses him, she is clingy, and so on and so forth. If they broke up way before, the fact that they didn’t assume it immediately worked for BOTH of them. For some reason people are forgetting this part. If it wasn’t publicly important for him, he wouldn’t have taken Miley to the promotion of his new movie (and he badly needed that promotion). It baffles me how a guy acting like a douche will still reflect more on the women they’re with then on themselves. Maybe they both behaved stupidly, for their own purposes but trying to put any of this in Miley’s solely behavior is beyond discussing. And let’s face it, if he would have wanted he could have make all the making out with this new chick private also. He likes the attention as much as Miley does, and he’s fighting to stay relevant.
There is no reason to humiliate reason even if they are clingy. We dont know if she is difficult to walk away from or not. They broke up once before and the rumor was that she spent a lot of time in Tennessee to think everything through. Aparently his family tried to convince him that he and Miley weren’t right for each other but he refused to listen. Interesting.
I dont think he was a bum living oo his girlfriend but he sure as hell has profited from being with her.
Everyone should be happy but Liam went about this break-up in a strange, tacky way. But then Royals went #1 and Wrecking Ball went to #2. And today it’s already slipped to #3. And it will probably slip from #1 on Billboard next week too.

Miley publicly humiliated her father on Twitter. She seems to be an exceedingly manipulative young woman who insists on having her own way.
