A new Charlie’s Angels film eh? Well for the love of God get your “foreign” accents straight this time. Although you haven’t lived until you hear 200 indignant Irish people chanting simultaneously “But that a Scottish accent!”

funny, my husband and I just debated this while discussing taking the kids overseas. A friend of mine lost both parents in a plane crash when we were in high school. We decided that at least theoretically, we’d each take one kid and go separately… God I hate to fly.

Great, another reason for me to hate flying. Is there a scientist/engineer buried in a lab somewhere working on a teleportation machine? You might arrive with your ear on your forehead, but you’d be f*cking alive.

I think when I have children, I’ll do that as well. Although…really, hokey as it sounds, if it’s supposed to go down, it’s gonna go down no matter what you do. Can’t control fate.

For all X-Files fans…Kim Manners died. One of the best directors on the show…he directed Supernatural as well. Godspeed Kim, kepp on kicking ass.

I’m a loooongtime Kate Winslet fan, it’s about time she started getting recognition for her work. She’s always seemed down to earth and not concerned with becoming an uber-skinny Hollywood bimbo. They want the kids to be safe, no biggie. Sure, a little dramatic - but what the heck?

But, notwithstanding tragedies like what happened to your friend Zoe, they are far more likely to be killed in a car-crash. Do they only travel in separate cars too?

what Jaybird left out here by just linking was the fact that Sam Mendes was scheduled for one of the 9/11 flights and then wasn’t on it, so they have an extra-good reason to be scared/paranoid about flying
