Yesterday, we discussed how Kristen Stewart looked like she was getting ready for a quiet Christmas at home in LA, which was interesting because Robert Pattinson recently flew out of LA to London, where it looks like he’s going to spend the holidays with his British friends and family. There was some pearl-clutching and Twihard Proofing about their relationship, and I remarked that I just wanted this whole mess to be over between them. Well… I think it might be? MAYBE?! Please say it’s so. E! News has a very, very interesting story about just what’s going down with Robsten and E! is not sugar-coating this mess.
Kristen Stewart is on the move—but she isn’t headed in Robert Pattinson’s direction. A source tells E! News that a report about Kristen’s British ex inviting her to spend Christmas in London with him is “not true.”
We’re hearing that the former costars have not seen each other since spending a few hours together in October at Rob’s rental home in Beverly Hills, after which the paparazzi saw the two attempting to caravan out of the gated community in separate cars. Upon noticing their snap-happy escort, however, Rob turned around and headed back for home, cutting the reunion short.
A source described the meet-up as “very platonic,” saying the duo once endearingly known as Robsten mainly chatted about their dogs, Bear and Bernie, and otherwise caught up like pals.
As for today, Kristen was seen taking off today in a private jet from the L.A.-area Van Nuys Airport, destination unknown at this time. She wore all black on the tarmac, her curly tresses topped with her treasured “Mercenaries” trucker cap.
Meanwhile, Rob is in London, where he joined in the celebration last Thurdsay for best mate Tom Sturridge’s 28th birthday. The intimate group of course included Sturridge’s beautiful baby mama, Sienna Miller, as well, and the close trio all piled into the same car at the end of their evening on the town.
Rob was spotted having a beer in Soho over the weekend, keeping it casual in jeans, a white T-shirt and his leather jacket.
So much for stories about their hot Halloween hookup and how they secretly spent Thanksgiving together. So much for stories about how Kristen was giving Rob space as he banged her and multiple women, trying to bang his way out of his heartbreak. So much for Twihard Proofing the idea of Kristen’s journey to England. Yes, this E! News story is very interesting. Could it be that Kristen has finally let go? Could it be that she’s no longer actively trying to win Rob back and she’s moving on with her life? Will her fans let her do that? Will his fans allow it?
PS… I wonder if she’s banging someone new? Who is Kristen’s next boyfriend?

I think they both gave each other up a while ago, but the fans are the ones keeping them together. Hopefully they both find someone to make them happy. That hat is killing me though..
I don’t believe they are back together or even hooking up on the sly. I think at best, they are polite and cordial with eachother because they do have their two dogs as a common interest but that is the extent of their relationship. They don’t even hang out together anymore in public since their breakup in May. Not even to attend concerts, grab a drink or a bite to eat at their old pre-breakup hangouts. He hangs out with his friends and she hangs out with hers. Even though they still have mutual friends they share, they keep it separate with them. They are never seen hanging out with their mutual friends together. It’s over and has been since May.
Cue the “she IS flying over” retorts since, after all, she is getting on a plane. Seriously, tho, this sort of rebuttal was pretty quick, and that is a bit out of the ordinary.
I think both are over this crap and that they want this shut down before the holidays. Seriously, I don’t think she was trying to win him back and I don’t think he was pining. Both are trying to disentangle themselves from Twilight, and seem focused on work despite his onetime partying and her hipster-ish life. He’s got several films lined up and in the can, she has several in the can and one at Sundance and a few lined up, both seem to be trying to separate themselves from Twilight and it’s nearly impossible to do it when they themselves are linked in the press because both are so heavily identified with those roles. My guess is they finally told their PR person and their manager to try and end this constant tabloid madness.

I’ll admit I thought that for a day or so after those Oct pics. But the reaction to them just doesn’t scream “still hooking up, possibly getting back together”. His team has rushed to deny Robsten rumors enough for me to believe he really wants the speculation to stop. They put out those (likely bogus) Dylan Penn rumors. They went to GC to deny all the Thanksgiving stories. Now, within a half-hour of pics of Kristen on a plane, they ran to E! to make it clear she’s not visiting Rob. This all screams that he doesn’t want to be tied to this story anymore. If they were hooking up on the downlow, I think there’d just be silence from both sides. I doubt Stewart’s self-esteem is so messed up that she wants to hook up with a guy who keeps denying all involvement with her to the media.
I’m sorry but I have a hard time believing his team is “rushing” to E! with exclusives or anywhere else for that matter. And I seriously doubt they would plant bogus stories about Rob either. E! is such a joke and gets more stuff wrong than right with their sloppy, lazy reporting. Like just this evening, they reported that Kristen was in France for Paris Fashion Week!!! Hello? How could they not know about Chanel’s Dallas fashion event which was being discussed heavily all over twitter and IG for days! It was only when people started to leave comments on their site about their huge error that they quickly pulled the story, edited out the original wrong Paris info and quickly replaced it with the correct Dallas info.
Whenever I see E! list simply a “source” or a “friend” in their reporting for anything to do with Rob, I take it with a huge grain of salt because I highly doubt any of his close friends are spilling their guts about him and his personal life to E! and Rob’s team doesn’t discuss his personal life ever to the media either. Not even to deny ridiculous rumors. Only once did I ever see his team issue a statement on his behalf and it was to dismiss a fake interview that was circulating around the internet a few years ago which never took place. Rob’s manager Nick Frenkle was identified by name as the source denying the story.

Neither Rob, nor representatives of Rob (or Kristen) have ever answered any of this tabloid nonsense, they never do. GC has no information about anything, and know reputable sources either. I mean how delusional and oh so scared of the Robsten possibilities do you have to be, to create a story that Rob is actually working with tabloids and sending them info about Sean Penn’s daughter? Hahaha The fact of the matter is, they have been seen together, because they are together, and Kristen is reputed to be pregnant. I can’t wait for that to become more and more obvious.

I am still very interested in Rob. but have no interest in these dumb Robsten speculations – they broke up 7 months ago…. how long can you dissect a dead relationship? I thought they were very sweet together at the time, but things changed. There is nothing left to talk about on this topic other than fanfic and rehashing old events. Of course they won’t spend Christmas together, are there that many out there who think they will?

This! I like Rob, but the last thing I want now is to discuss all the made-up twists and turns of his non-existing relationship with Kristen Stewart. Really, because right now Kristen Stewart Queen of Chanel has been trending all night – she’s just been made face of Chanel, and is with Karl Lagerfeld and Dakota Fanning at a huge Chanel event right now.
I actually think it’s quite interesting. Has something like this ever happened before? A celebrity couple broke up and many months later, there are still people who believe they are together, who are trying to proof they are seeing each other etc.
