Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were together again at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. And by “together” I mean “they attended the same event.” Both were winners too – Brit-Brit picked up an award for “Favorite Pop Artist” while JT took home three awards – Favorite Album, Favorite Male Artist and Favorite R&B Artist. Let’s talk about Britney first – she wore this Mikael D. What does this remind me of? Oh, I know! It reminds me of ice skaters, thus, it reminds me of Marchesa. How sad is it that other designers are knocking off the already budget Marchesa “look”?
As for Justin, during one of his acceptance speeches, he took a moment to thank his wife Jessica Biel, saying: “I’d like to thank all the fans who voted. I’ll take it — people’s champ, I love it. And I’d like to thank my beautiful wife for teaching me patience and the little things like just putting the dishes in the dish washer. It goes a long way — fellas, you’re welcome!” There are some rumors percolating around the internet about their marriage these days, wondering why Biel hasn’t been his date at any recent event. I don’t know what to tell you – they were always going to be a bizarre married couple because they were always weird while they were dating.

Loved her in West Wing, too. I think her show with Faris is terrible (made it through half an episode), but I tried it because I think she’s wonderful. Masters of Sex is so good and Janney is fantastic.

Yeah, I read an interview with her (can’t remember if it was on this site or not), but she said that after she got divorced the first time, she went and got a ton of plastic surgery–boob job, and I think she did botox or something. Even my DAD noticed something different about her–we were watching that Yogi Bear movie–he said she getting old–that’s how f*cked up her face was. Every time she came on screen I was trying to figure out what she did to it. It was that bad–but it seems to have settled.
I know, right? Her face was a wreck for a while. I like her and really felt bad cause she looked horrible. I think she did botox and collagen for a while but stopped after she got pregnant. BTW I loove chris!!

@Kelly I said the same thing. With The People’s Choice Awards you already know who the winners are by who’s attending. That’s how I knew JT. Brit, Bullock and RDJ were the winners. They were the only ones from their categories of nominees who attended the event.
Yup, what V4Real and others said. These awards are a crock of sh*t, not all that different from all awards ceremonies now that I think about it…
IMO the whole show was horrible and contrived. It seemed like everyone there obviously knew they had won, that’s why they showed up. It was the most boring award show I’ve seen in ages. And this during a time when award shows have gone from….. OMG that was great, to holy crap what a POS I watched last night!
I think they are told who won ahead of time because Britney apparently didnt show up until right before her award was announced.
Also…I find it hard to believe that Brit is the country’s “favorite” pop stars when her recent album only sold 107,000 the first week. If she was truly everyone’s favorite, I think more people would have bought her album!
They do know ahead of time. That’s why they are there. A People’s Choice award show isn’t going to get all four nominees to show up for that and sit. It’s not a prestigious award show by critics, Oscars, SAG, Golden Globes etc. It’s just a popular vote by fans and so all the winners are notified ahead of time. They come and the only other stars you will see are the presenters.

I think Biel is hot and pretty to look at but why do they even invite her to the Oscars; it’s not like she has been in any amazing films. Did you guys notice how JT thanked her last? I’ll never forget at the SAGs last year–he came to present. and as part of his entrance he start dancing to the music (just a tiny bit)–the camera panned to Daniel Day Lewis, who had a ‘wtf is he doing here’ look on his face. My thoughts exactly.

Britney almost gets it right. I can see where this dress could have been cute if it had been executed properly. But it does just look budget. I like her, but there is so much wrong with this look for her. I know I’m in the minority of people who actually like JT here, but I think he looks pretty good. Ana Faris is cute; and I agree, I should not like her outfit but she makes it work. I don’t think many people could pull that off. And Janney looks elegant, but I wish she’d done something better with her hair.

I was actually looking at other photos from the night of her from another site and there are quite a few where she looks very zombie like with a forced smile. I felt bad for her, she looks like she doesn’t know what’s going on. Someone let this woman take a break!

Surprisingly, I didn’t hate the hosts of last night’s show. I won’t be watching Broke Girls, but I thought they hit the right notes. The musical performances seemed uber budget though. Sarah Bareilles? Yeah, no thanks.

Many women don’t announce until the enter their 2nd trimester because the potential for miscarriage. It happens even to healthy young women, so I respect that concern.
Right. But if she’s not going out anywhere, it would be because she’s already past the point of being able to hide it, I would think. Which would mean, middle to late second trimester. I don’t think they “owe” the public any info, but it seems like blatant attention-whoring to me, rather than a bid for privacy.

I agree. With so much money, why the consistently awful looks? My guess is that her image of herself is stuck in time. I hate how they always pour her into skin tight dresses, and they are always short and cut across her legs in an unflattering way. She is not a big girl, but the top of this dress makes her look very thick, and the bottom makes her legs big.
The hair style is cute, but not the color. For the love of God, can she not just look natural for a single red carpet appearance?

Brittany always looks the same or with some variation of the short tight dress. It would have been refreshing to see her in Faris’ outfit with her hair pulled back in a chic ponytail. Or *something* different. This dress mimics the outfit she wears on stage during her performances.
Anna desperately needs a pop of color somewhere. Too pale with the light blonde and the light jumpsuit. She’s funny as hell though and I love her. Britney’s dress, not so much either but I’m glad to see her looking healthy.

Photoshop does wonders. All I know is that Brit did NOT look as slim and in shape on tv like does these photos. Sure the camera adds a few pounds, but NOT as much as people like to delude themselves with. Was a bit shocked her stylist would even put her in such an unflattering dress. The woman looked two to to three times as thick on tv. Like a sausage stuffed inside a glittery casing. No. This girl needs to FIRE her wardrobe team…that or lay off the cheetoes if she insists on wearing crap like this.
As a completely natural blonde, I take a keen interest in other people’s blonde hair but I have never been able to work out why some gals just never bloody well get it right!
