He kinda looks like a male Halle berry.

  2. Arock says:

Since it was dropped I’m just going pretend like it never happened because, well, because its prince and he’s amazing. (and he’s PRINCE)
Unlike Madonna who has just been cutoff. She’s become the “the real housewives of OC” of the music world, desperate for attention and absurd. It’s so sad to see this woman (I mean, you’re Madonna, for Christs sake) rely on look at me! antics for relevancy. Seriously, a Miley Cyrus duet. Smh.
And give it a rest Kirk Cameron.

  3. kellyinseattle says:

I miss Prince in the limelight…still jam out with him while driving…love love love him..When. Doves Cry…

  4. Macey says:

That whole thing with Prince really turned me off. Ive always loved him and his eccentric ways but that was just ridiculous. Kind of funny not too long ago I was trying to find video for Purple Rain and I couldnt find one version of it anywhere. I wondered why he didnt have stuff on youtube or anywhere that I could find. I always thought his battles over his name and music were with his old labels, not him..such a shame b/c he has a lot of good music that most kids today wont ever see b/c of the way he has it blocked.

    • LadySlippers says:

Prince has been fighting battles since before his name change. And while I understand his issues with big music studios this seems very petty.

      • FLORC says:

        Yes.
Be it sending a message or Renewing his Diva card he’s simply being petty.

And it’s too damn late for him to come on New Girl. The show sucks now.

On a side rant… Taylor Swift started the shows downward slant. She may not have written the episode, but since she appeared it just hasn’t been good. Damn you Swifty!

      • Kiddo says:

Yeah, it is petty, but it might actually wipe out the people who were fans. I get it, he doesn’t want people not to pay for his music, but this is like using the atomic bomb to kill a fly. Whatever. He’s not likeable now.

      • LadySlippers says:

@Florc: He’s been a card carrying member of the Diva Club for ages. I totally understand his point but hate his methods.

@Kiddo: I totally agree. This is a fantastic way to alienate people and lose your message (which is a good one) in the process.

      • Kate says:

Ladyslippers I worked in the music industry during the heyday Prince years. Prince would want to come out with music at a moment’s notice…without radio or video airplay. It takes time (at least then) to set up a release. In the 80’s and 90’s it was unheard of for an artist to release music without a video. WB was very supportive of Prince. They spent major advertising dollars on his releases. He was in the urban “AND” pop category. Whenever there was a Prince video, single etc, we heard it in our meetings. Whatever marketing ideas the staff came up with, WB would okay it. PS: This is coming from someone who was in various meetings.

      • Sullivan says:

I enjoy Prince’s music and watching him perform. A number of years ago, a friend of mine was working as an assistant engineer in a recording studio. Prince was recording. He would not talk to her. Granted, she was the assistant engineer so they didn’t have a lot of interaction, but when she did have to ask Prince a question he would look at HIS assistant and answer the question. Then Prince’s assistant would turn to my friend and repeat the answer. My friend appreciated having a great story to tell . She laughingly brags that she was actively ignored by Prince.

      • LadySlippers says:

@Kate: I’m from Minnesota and yours isn’t the first ‘goofy’ story I’ve heard about him. He’s a strange duck…

      • Kiddo says:

@LadySlippers, please tell @Sullivan, that I enjoyed the story. 😛

“Shia LaBeouf wants you to spank him for ART.”
No thank you. But I will punch him in the nose for humanity.

  6. paola says:

Oh Kirk Cameron, crawl back in your cave.
I didn’t want to see Beyoncè ass either but it was the Grammys not a church fest!
If you find tv offensive guess what? Turn it off|

    • hopperlea says:

Kirk Cameron is that guy, that 20 years from now, society will find out he had young male boyfriends in secret.
There is something very phony and gross about him.

      • FLORC says:

Normally I would agree. The more some preach the more I think they’re hiding some secret like that. He just screams to me genuine though. Bland really.

Ugh, And I use to have such a crush on him.

      • Just Me says:

Florc, there have been rumors for ages regarding Kirk.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Blind Gossip suggests that he trolls for men by the carousel in Griffith Park…take it for what you will.

      • FLORC says:

        Just Me
If that’s got any wiff of truth to it it’s terrible. Can someone not be an outspoken christian and a good christian all at once? Does it always have to be that the more you preach the less you follow?
That said, rumors are around for truth and lies. I would think there are people so annoyed with him that someone wants to bring him down and if there was something to fin it would have or will be found.

    • Kiddo says:

Why was he watching the Grammys? is the real question, little perv was looking for Bey’s ass. Didn’t he know that Lawrence Welk (and his wholesomeness) has been dead for a while? Put on PBS on Sunday afternpoon or the Christian Channel. What a phony piece of…..

    • jaye says:

I went to his FB page to see the actual post and the one in the article isn’t there. He either took it down, or the one on IDLY was doctored. At any rate, I’m assuming that if he DID write that post, he was aiming his comments at the wedding ceremony.

    • magpie says:

I guess he missed the VMAs.

  7. Nikkie says:

There is a Lordes birther movement? LMAO.

O.K. then can we start a Margot Robbie one. I don’t believe that woman is only 23 years old. Lily Collins is older than her. So is Kstew and Emma Stone. Need some receipts.

    • Lark says:

I’m pretty sure Lily C and Kristen are 23 also but you’ve got a point that the three don’t look the same age and Emma Stone, who is 2 years older than Margot, looks about seven years younger. Margot is gorgeous but she definitely looks late 20s to me…But in this day and age of the internet, if she’s not 23 the information will come out a la Jessica Chastain and her old yearbook photo.

  8. Mela says:

    Daniel Radcliffe is freaking adorable.

    • Decloo says:

You can’t not love Dan Rad. Plus he’s an outspoken atheist! Go Dan.

    • Eleonor says:

      True!

    • Lucy says:

He’s absolutely lovely, isn’t he? He has grown to be a fantastic young man.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I love his wit. That makes him a lot more attractive to me than he would be otherwise.

    • MisJes says:

Agreed, Dan is awesome. I’d love to sit around on his lounge getting wasted and watching Spongebob with him. The bit that made me laugh the most was when he said not one person wanted him to be Christian Grey, himself neither. Haha!

    • MisJes says:

Oh, me too. I would love to sit on his lounge and get wasted watching Spongebob with him, he seems like fun company. My favourite part is where he states that no one wanted him to be Christian Grey, especially him. Lol!

  9. Summer says:

That was very Lars Ulrich of him.

  10. Mel M says:

    Love Emma Watson so much.

  11. moo says:

    0.0 wow…. I have never seen him smile before! love Prince………… <3

  12. Decloo says:

Where was Goop’s ‘Stand up to Cancer’ event held? Looks like the rec room of a prison. WTF?

    • FLORC says:

Celebs are caught without make up all the time. Seems like they want to be praised for being so brave and naturally pretty than to bring attention to a cause with those things.

      I assumed prison too.

      • Kiddo says:

Or maybe her bare face actually kills cancer? Mean, I know. Just kidding.

      • badrockandroll says:

If no makeup means false eyelashes, lipstick, eyeshadow, concealer and powder, then yeah, GP is bare-faced.
I think that she is trying to look au natural, which imo, is not good for such a bland looking blonde. It also goes totally opposite to the dress – why bother wearing such a bright, revealing dress, if you are going to not even going to bother brushing your hair! Why go out at all?

      • Delta Juliet says:

        Makeup-less? Not even CLOSE.

      • magpie says:

Exactlly, it’s not “brave”. They want people to see how naturally glowy their skin is.

      • danielle says:

Oh good, others pointed out that goop is ABSOLUTELY wearing makeup.

  13. Miggs says:

Gwyneth is obviously NOT makeup-free. She clearly is wearing foundation and mascara, and probably eyeliner.

    • Tania says:

Agreed! I see foundation, concealer, lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, maybe some false lashes and a bit of shadow. She might not be wearing blush though!

    • mia girl says:

Yeah, I don’t think it’s no makeup, I think the change is Botox or some type of tweaking that hasn’t settled.

When did Goop ever resemble Anne Heche?!
Something is rotten in the state of Goopmark…

  14. Dawn says:

Love Prince. The guy can do silly and inane things but to me he truly is a genius. The guy plays like 3 or 4 different instruments, writes all his own music, made a few movies, does not use auto-tune and kicked Kim Kardashian off of his stage for being a piss (pardon the pun)poor dancer! I still love Little Red Corvette so much. What a guy!

    • FLORC says:

Well, he’s not threatening to bankrupt you and your future generations.
And he does not write all his own music. He writes and cowrites songs, sure, but it’s silly to think he does it all himself.

      • HK9 says:

Actually, this is something I can say for Prince. Those songs he wrote himself, he wrote himself, and if he collaborates he gives correct credit, but he does do a lot himself. The only instruments he can’t play are horns and strings, so him doing a lot of music by himself is not that far fetched. If there’s anyone who can do this-he can.

  15. Emma13 says:

Oh Daniel, every time I start to get a crush on someone else you swoop in with your dark humor and eccentric ways.

  16. Jag says:

Prince is incredibly talented, but he apparently can be a jerk.

Did y’all see where the petition to have Bieber deported got the requisite 100k signatures, so the White House says they’ll review it and will respond? The type of visa he has, it’s unlikely that he would be deported, but what fun!

  17. Sara says:

Gwens poor hair. Take a good look at her hair if you are dying your hair blonde ladies. It’s all fine and dandy when you are young but 15 years in of coloring your hair it will be a fried mess like Gwens.

  18. Vibius says:

Prince has always been willing to attack/sue his fans. This is not the first time and it will not be the last. Hell, hes performed songs that belonged to other artists and his label would start sending copyright notices to youtube that would take down the original artists video.

Prince the person makes it really hard to enjoy Prince as an artist. The guy is a CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY jerk.

  19. mrsmc says:

Prince is a evil little man.

  20. d b says:

One interesting thing about Prince is he was among the first big musicians to grasp the potential of the internet. While the industry was fighting and resisting, Prince was among those who understood the potential of internet. I don’t feel he’s bad and wrong for protecting his work, but I
believe he was making a point about respecting copyright and never actually intended to drag these people into court.
Here’s a piece that’s a bit more nuanced than Dlisted:
    http://www.onthemedia.org/story/princes-troubled-relationship-internet/

  21. Jaded says:

Anyone with a God-like complex like Prince has got to be considered slightly deranged. True he’s one talented mofo but so are lots of others: teachers, doctors, scientists, historians, anthropologists, researchers and others who don’t go swanning around in purple silk suits and high heels not deigning to speak to the little unwashed peons. He’s no different than many other talented people on this earth who will actually communicate with people, he just takes himself WAYYYYYY too seriously.

  22. Jaquebelle says:

Not feeling Prince on this tip!!! Alienating your fan base to send a copyright message is not the route to take. I understand his business position, but he could not have sent a cease and desist letter first. Prince is a millionaire many times over and most of his fans are not. And while Prince may have predicted how the internet would be used musically, he certainly has not availed much of his music online. Ultimately his di*$# move has the opposite impact on me and I would NEVER purchase any of his music in the future!!! Purple bastard lol!!! One love.
