Justin Bieber thinks his bratty leaked deposition tapes were all ‘a set up’

Justin Bieber

Here’s a photo of Justin Bieber “always working,” which is his instagrammed way of saying we’re all distracting him from his purpose in life. We’ve been talking about Swaggy’s whiny deposition tapes where he pouted, rolled his eyes, and threw a verbal tantrum in response to a lawyer’s questions. Justin didn’t like the questions, and he didn’t understand why he should be made to do anything that doesn’t involve lipsynching in an arena or sipping sizzurp in his crib. His baby crib.

Bieber tweeted madly yesterday about how he felt harassed. He really thinks he’s a victim, and now he’s telling people that the depo tapes were all a setup. What Bieber doesn’t realize is that nobody forced him to act that way on the tapes. This is how he acts when he thinks no one will notice. Team swag is mad that the tapes leaked, and they want to find out if someone paid the lawyer to prod Bieber into acting like an ass. How delusional:

Justin Bieber believes he was set up in his videotaped deposition by lawyers who baited him with insulting questions and planned all along to leak the tape to humiliate him.

The pop superstar was shown acting insolent and angry during the taped deposition in the California lawsuit over his bodyguard allegedly beating up photographer Jeffrey Binion.

Just two days after the deposition, the tape was leaked to TMZ, and Bieber’s outraged team is demanding to know if a payment was made in exchange for the tape.

A source exclusively tells Page Six: “The video was leaked so quickly that Justin’s legal team believes it was all a setup. The questions Justin was being asked, including questions about Usher, had nothing to do with the case.

“He was being harassed with extremely strange questions, and the chosen clips that were released, which show Justin to be frustrated, happened four and a half hours into the deposition.

“Justin’s team is considering making a request to the judge to order an audit to see if a payment was received by anybody on Binion’s side for the tape, which they believe is serious malpractice.”

Bieber was seen behaving like a brat as he was being grilled in the bodyguard-beatdown case. He appeared to be disrespectful of Usher, the man who made him a superstar. When quizzed if he even knew Usher, Bieber was nonchalant: “Yeah, Usher. That [name] sounds familiar.”

Then, asked directly if Usher discovered him and was “instrumental” to his career, Bieber took all the credit, with one slip-up: “I was found on YouTube. I think I was detrimental to my own career.”

At another point, Bieber almost lost it when asked about off-again, on-again flame Selena Gomez. With a stone-cold, angry glare, he said, “Don’t ask me about her again.”

Binion’s lawyer, Russell S. Adler, did not return our calls or e-mails Tuesday night, nor did Mark G. DiCowden, a personal injury lawyer identified as asking Justin questions on the taped deposition. TMZ reps didn’t get back to us either. Reps for Bieber declined to comment.

[From Page Six]

I can see why Bieber didn’t like the questions about Selena, but they were relevant to the case. The lawyer was trying to make a connection about how Bieber has gone off on paps while he and Selena were together. Bieber’s trying to say he was “set up,” but he’s only upset the tapes confirm his brat status to the world.

As a side note, I talked yesterday about how Selena has allegedly told her family to shove it when it comes to Bieber. Someone in Selena Gomez’s camp has talked to People about how upset her family is about the reunion: “Selena has chosen Justin over her family in the past. They are disappointed about that. Her father has told her he doesn’t like her spending time with him.” OH, check this out: Taylor Swift is disgusted about Selena getting back with Justin too. Taylor has cut off the friendship. Interesting.

Here’s the full leaked tape again in case anyone wants to watch it again.

Bitch Please; The only person that set you up was YOU acting like a twatwaffle

UNLESS you are talking about your Parents setting you up and giving you no home training

…Or Scooter surrounding you by Yes Men??

    Seriously what a little moron

    • Mindy says:

      Twatwaffle…. hehehe.

QQ, you WIN. That is the best word to describe ‘lil douchenozzle I’ve ever heard.

That toddler has no one to blame but himself for ALL of this. Not for nothing, sometimes in depositions, there are PLENTY of questions asked that have no bearing on the case. Sometimes they are asked JUST to test the patience of the person being questioned. Obviously, he has no patience whatsoever.

As for Selena.. that girl is dumb as a stump. Sorry. I have absolutely NO sympathy for her anymore. She knows full well that he’s a TWATWAFFLE, and he’s not going to change. Even though I think Taylor Swift is not exactly the ‘voice of reason’ that ANYONE should listen to, glad to hear she has cut off communication with Selena. Maybe if enough of her ‘close circle’ leaves her flat, she will figure out that MAYBE being with the toddler isn’t a good idea after all.

      • Mauibound says:

        Twatwaffle is outstanding!

      • Emily C. says:

If enough of her close circle leaves her, she’ll be more dependent on the one person who has always been there, and that’s Bieber. Trying to get between someone and their bad relationship never works, and cutting them off only plays into the hands of the person who wants them isolated from everyone else.

    • lauren says:

He is always set up and critics are just haters who are jealous. I´m just tired of everyone making excuses for him. But what is to expect, when everyone around him is on his payroll and profiting from him.
He is a douchebag and it´s sad to see that there are young girls out there who think that this is a great way to behave.

    • Paul says:

      Good one. 💗 it

    • Steph says:

I’ll see that twatwaffle and raise you a fucknugget

  2. Dani2 says:

He’s forever giving me these spoilt toddler vibes, Selena really must be in a bad place if she thinks that this turd is worth turning her back on her family for.

    • Tulip Garden says:

I agree that Selena’s relationship merry-go-round with Beiber does prove that she is in a bad place. The most concerning thing is that if she has to be with him, is it actually him that she wants or the okay to live the sizzurp lifestyle? I mean dating a douche continually is one thing but dating a douche with his problems is another.
Also, I don’t blame Swift for breaking ties. It’s just probably one of those situation where she thought that Selena had “seen the light” about Beiber AND herself. Selena then goes to rehab, perhaps, strings Ed along to make Beiber jealous and then heads back to Beiber. I think putting distance in a friendship is sometimes all you can do unless you want to listen to all the drama. Now, don’t get me wrong Taylor has her drama but it doesn’t include a drug problem and when you throw that in the mix it becomes toxic.

    • Tiffany :) says:

Remember the Toddler Tantrum pictures that we love to laugh at here on Celebitchy because he looks like a child being put into his carseat by his body guard?

Are those photos/videos also evidence of his violent tendencies towards paps?

  3. Virgilia Coriolanus says:

Ugh–I made it a minute and a half into the video.

He’s an asshole. There is NO doubt about that now.

If it was me sitting in that chair, I’d be shaking in my boots–because I’m a goody two shoes sissy, and the only thing that my mom’s had to yell at me about since I became a teenager is trying to stay up all night, instead of the crap that she had to deal with my older sister (which I’m sure she’s secretly glad).

Are his beliebers still in denial?

    • Dani2 says:

His beliebers will always believe the best about him and ignore the worst, I’ve never seen anything like it.

    • FLORC says:

I had to watch the TMZ best of clips. He’s a a moron. Using words incorrectly and acting like a 4 year old. I’m sorry. That was insulting to 4 year olds and morons…

His world is going to come crashing down and he’ll only blame others… OMG. He’s a LiLo!
I hope no one gives him a 2nd chance a million times over.

    • cyndi says:

      Hey V. C.—
I never knew you were a “youngin'”. Lol enjoy life. Try everything once, and the fun things twice. :p
How’s the little lady friend? Sry if I’m repeating myself, couldn’t remember the thread I responded to you on. See!? The “olds” kicking in! (hell, who am I trying to fool. It’s constant!)
      OT: yes…he is a GIGANTIC *** twatwaffle*** 😀

    • Steph says:

PS. My fellow lawyers and I have all watched this deposition with horrified glee. Conclusions? 1. Lawyer A (Bieber’s lawyer) not only earns his keep, he has to be smart enough to get paid up front in cash; and 2. Lawyer B is going to have wet dreams about this deposition for the rest of his life.

      • sapphoandgrits says:

We all said the same thing. Bieber seemed to not get this depo was a legal proceeding, and his behavior was torpedoing his case.

  4. Red32 says:

He’s full of it. He has high-priced lawyers and I’m sure they at least tried to prep him before the deposition. If he can’t control himself, that’s his problem.

  5. Jaderu says:

He reminds me of the last sinus infection I had. Just seemed to linger and wouldn’t go away. The sinus drainage was more enjoyable than him though.

    • Emily C. says:

I’ve got a sinus infection right now. And yes, I believe it is preferable to being in a room with this toddler.

  6. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

My favorite part was when he objected to a question. What a bratty little tool.

    • Lindy79 says:

My fav is the tiny moment you see him realise his team are trying to correct his
“I was detrimental to my own career” comment. I’m not sure he even realised why at first but he knows something was up, the way he goes quiet, then repeats but says “instrumental”…

      Its so unintentionally hilarious.

    • Mel M says:

HA! Mine too, he sounds exactly like I did talking back to my parents when I was 12.
“Is this a film?” What a complete douche. It’s scary to me that there are girls out there that are still into this kid! What does that say about the future generation?

      • Lindy79 says:

I would have thrown a chair at him for that alone.
He was trying and failing miserably to be a smart ass.
All he did was make himself look like someone who thinks the word “film” only applies to f*cking movies.

        A-Hole

      • FLORC says:

Haha! That was great too. It’s like the 16th chapel. I think he’s a D student the way he incorrectly uses words and doesn’t fully grasp topics in conversations.

And how he used “Film”. If he hadn’t shown this behavior before and shown some shame over it i’d think he was just being rude. This might have actually been a justifiable reason to mock in his mind though.
        Ugh. The end is nigh!

  7. Tracy says:

I am still giggling over the video posted yesterday of Baby Biebs and Selena dancing.

  8. littlemissnaughty says:

Poor baby, the world is out to destroy him! You brought it on yourself, you little stinker. I wish someone would take this child DOWN. As in, a proper journalist would take him apart and show him how the real world works for little twatty Biebers. Ugh. He really makes me feel violent because there are NO consequences for him whatsoever. Whiny b*tch.

  9. Ruyana says:

Eagerly awaiting the really hard bitch-slap Karma has for him. Really he’s an unlikeable little turd.

  10. JudyK says:

    Girly-looking PUNK.

  11. Littles says:

The way I see it, I think he was detrimental to his own deposition.

  12. Ruyana says:

I noticed in the deposition pictures that he squints his left eye when he thinks he’s being scary. It’s the exact same face as baby bieber being put back in his car seat. OOOhhh, he’s so scary!

  13. lucy2 says:

Even if the whole thing was a set up, he’s responsible for his own words, actions, and attitude – a concept he will never fully grasp.
His career has about had it, right? I’m looking forward to the media attention on him drying up as well.

  14. Naomi says:

I’ve said before that Selena Gomez has a great management team she is no innocent child. Why she keeps going back to Beiner I don’t know. Maybe because it allows her to imitate a life lived on the edge. Being involved in his inner circle definitely insulates her from the sphere of influence that usually surrounds and guides her. I can see her being 21 and wealthy being influenced by Beiber because here he is a couple of years younger than her, seriously famous & wealthy & doing absolutely anything he wants & getting away with it so far. I can see him rubbing it in her face every time she tries to separate herself from him & his behavior. She probably needs a break from non stop touring & promoting while her team keeps pushing the work.

Also, friendship or no, Taylor Swift is no dummy. No way she or her team will allow anyone else’s personal drama impact her career in a negative way. Girl may not be boy smart but she is not career crazy.

    • I’m starting to like Swifty a lot more–even though I think she’s a sore loser, but maybe she’ll grow out of that. Swifty may be sparkles and rainbows about her boyfriends, but when it comes to her money. Shiiiit. She will check a b-tch. And do it in a hurry.

    • sapphoandgrits says:

Selena also doesn’t get she has she two things going against her: she’s a “Disney Kid,” and she’s female. The public doesn’t let females get away with things like male celebrities do, even if what the young women do is nowhere near as bad (imagine a Roberta Downey). Selena has probably ruined what career she has because of this.

You know, Swift runs much of her own career, including making most business decisions. She is business savvy and a smart cookie, and takes pains to keep her public image what she wants it to be, I honestly think she’s probably a pretty nice kid. Meredith and all the money she quietly gives to charity make me really like her. From a business standpoint, it makes sense to 86 Selena. From a personal standpoint, it’s smart and the best thing to 86 a toxic friend. Especially if that friend is hanging around with a criminal boyfriend and his scuzzy friends, and possibly doing stuff she really shouldn’t be doing.

Selena is an idiot. I feel bad for her family.

  15. April says:

The only thing the Court needs to determine regarding this deposition is whether or not this douchebag should be held in contempt of court for refusing to answer the questions posed to him. I loathe this entitled twat.

  16. Harryg says:

I so wanna smack that cap off his head.

  17. tricklady says:

    3….. 2….. 1….. POOF! He’s Aron Carter !

  18. Commonsense says:

    Justin Beiber
    The “IMMATURE TOUR”

  19. ojulia123 says:

“I think I was detrimental to my own career.”

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

  20. holly hobby says:

Attorneys are professionals. They didn’t set him up to act like a tool. Someone get him a civics book. He obviously doesn’t know anything about the legal system.

  21. Jayna says:

I am a court reporter, and he was not set up. You can’t set someone up in a deposition who is represented by able counsel. I take down depos all the time and have seen many asshole witnesses and asshole attorneys in my career, and have taken some famous ones and/or very arrogant people in our community, but this takes the cake. I have never seen anyone act like that when being videotaped. You straighten up your attitude because it is on video. Sometimes on written transcript it’s harder to see the demeanor of the witness, so opposing counsel videotapes them also. And it usually puts the witness on much better behavior knowing it is being captured on video. He was such a jerk.

And I have never ever seen a witness talk to a court reporter like he did when he/she simply asked him to repeat his answer or speak up. I have never had one ever speak to me in such a way as he did to the court reporter in the deposition, ever, and especially not from some 19-year-old punk. And I have taken depositions of rapists, murderers and real tough guys, gang members actually in a prison setting. I have had a few attorneys be condescending to me before, though, but very rare. LOL

It’s obvious he wouldn’t listen to his counsel if he was acting like that throughout the deposition, such a surly, arrogant, idiotic attitude. , And the only reason after break he came in and apologized to the court reporter was because his attorney made him, knowing how bad it looked.

This guy is a massive jerk in the first order. I can’t believe what he’s come to.

    • sapphoandgrits says:

I’ve sat in on more than a few depos, and have also never, ever seen someone act like this. Ever. It’s like it was an interview with a third-tier magazine. Bizarre.

And, I have also NEVER seen anyone treat a court reporter like that. EVER. Wow.

  22. Jayna says:

And here’s the video clip of his attitude to the court reporter who is just there to get the record accurately, nothing more.

  23. Vilodemeanus says:

I think the toddler hairband he’s wearing says all we need to know about the kind of man Biebs really is.

He’s a tool, he acted badly, and now the world knows he’s not a Christian, a nice guy, treats people with no respect, which is his big thing, so he’s a hypocrite. He’s also stupid. Doesn’t know the difference between DETRIMENTAL and INSTRUMENTAL. Know why? He dropped out of school in the 8th grade and not only did his mother ensure he was ignorant but also that she was so dim she never gave him any social skills. And yes, he’s enabled by every single person he knows for money, he’s crashing and burning and now it’s a cash grab because his star has fallen and it’s over for him. We’re just starting to see the end and his fall is going to be epic. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving piece of shit either. Selena is as dumb as a bag of hair, she had a chance until she got caught with him again and everyone knows she’s back drinking and using LEAN again. I suspect we’ll be hearing her management cutting her loose pretty soon.

    • littlestar says:

      What is LEAN?

And yes, Bieber is stupid and so is Gomez. Perfect examples of why children should not be allowed to become famous.

      • sapphoandgrits says:

The majority of child actors and singers turn out fine. Seth Green, Natalie Portman, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lacy Chabert, the Hansons, just off the top of my head. Amanda Bynes was fine until her illness kicked in, and even Miley is known to be professional, and hasn’t been arrested or sent to rehab yet.

    • Emily C. says:

That his mother has gotten any praise for the way she raised him, and even written a book about it, infuriates me. My grandmother was married to an alcoholic who used to beat her regularly. She kicked him out in the early 1960s and raised two sons alone on a school janitor’s salary. They are both now professionals with excellent careers, and they have their problems, but overall she did an incredible job. Where was her book deal?

  24. Flower says:

Can’t stand the entitled brat but frankly I thought depositions were covered by lawyer confidentiality, its not part of a public trial just lawyer fact finding and most of the questions seemed irrelevant to the case and designed to bait him (for four and a half hours?), I would be fuming too if someone leaked my deposition tapes (not that I have ever been involved in one). Could leaked tapes be used as a legal ploy to escape consequences down the line if confidentiality was broken, the defence could use the leaked tape ploy as well? I was scratching my head when all Tom Cruise’s deposition tapes appeared as well when he was suing a magazine over his alleged abandonment of Suri after the Katie split.

    • Jayna says:

Depositions are released all the time. We have had local news stations put video depositons on their website to view of cases of interest here that have some notoriety of a national magnitude. It has to be sealed by the Court for it not to be available to the public, i.e., newspapers, the news, to purchase, etc., If the Court denies the request to be sealed, then they are in the court file in the clerk of the court and/or a copy can be purchased from the court reporter’s office unless barred from doing so.

And attorneys have a much wider lattitude in questioning in a deposition compared to a trial since it is discovery. And people can get irritated, but I have never ever seen anyone act like him, ever. You leave it to the attorneys to battle, not sit there and act like a fool yourself knowing full well the Court could be viewing this.

And the giving a kiss to the video, what the? Who does that in a formal proceeding that the Court may view this video? You answer the questions, and if you don’t want to, don’t. They can certify the questions and go before the judge and he can decide if they are proper or not.

He has an expensive, high-powered attorney who will direct him not to answer if he feels it’s appropriate. legally. And using vulgarity to the court reporter for simply asking him to speak up I have never ever seen before and the way he looked at her when he said it, what a little pr ck. Usually you get an apology, not a sneer and profanity thrown at you. The arrogance he displayed showed everything I need to know about him.

      • Flower says:

I’m not an American so this is quite alien to me. Are the tapes for public access before a trial or only after? If they can legally be accessed before a trial couldn’t such tapes prejudice a jury when a case actually came to trial , especially as the tapes could be edited to produce a weighted outcome by a media outlet ? (not that this would matter in this case as the little snot is not on trial in this instance). What about the 5th amendment, which protects individuals from being forced to incriminate themselves, can an individual just refuse to answer any questions at a deposition?

    • sapphoandgrits says:

It appears his attorneys didn’t ask for the depo to be sealed, so…

  25. Emily C. says:

Cutting someone off when they keep going back to a bad relationship is understandable. But it never works. It didn’t even have a good chance of working hundreds of years ago when parents had much more control over their adult kids’ financial situations. Nowadays, it has no chance. Then it leaves the kids thinking they have no options but to stay with the bad relationship, because they’re isolated from everyone else. I hope Selena’s family at least is keeping lines of communication open with her.

  26. littlestar says:

I finally watched a few clips of his deposition. Wow. This kid is stupid. And mix stupidity with money, and you have one scary combination. And to me, a stupid person who thinks they are actually smart is terrifying.

  27. Jordan says:

Can’t wait for 20 years from now to see him on one of those “Where are they now” shows and find out he’s homeless and toothless!

I know that’s mean but that’s how much he annoys me. I will take it back if he just goes away, lol.

  28. aquarius64 says:

Bieber brought this worldwide backlash on himself. Forget about having the lawyers go after the people who leaked the tapes, the damage is already done. And as usual, he puts out Instagrams doing wholesome activities and gets his hooks back into Selena for PR damage control. (Unfortunately Selena has to learn the REALLY hard way.) Even if Bieber skates in a court of law, thanks to these tapes he’s condemned in the court of public opinion.

  29. d says:

His behaviour in that deposition really highlights how he’s been allowed to get away with bad behaviour towards others for a long time, likely for years. And most likely how bad people keep telling him how wonderful he is and other nonsense. So I think he truly does not get it, he truly is like a toddler in a 20-year-old body. He, like many others of his ilk, has no real idea of how to behave like a normal human being. I get doing stupid stuff when you’re young, but he’s way, waaaaay behind in his emotional and intellectual development, and it’s not helped by people who egg him on, including his fans and management and his so-called friends and leeches. At this point, I’m kind of embarrassed for him, he’s so…I mean, he’s such a dink, as we used to say.

  30. C says:

How can no one else see how blatantly on drugs he is?!
